Lord Xerus! If you ever want to take glue/epoxy like that off, acetone on some papertowel works fantastic without damaging the metal. JB weld holds up fairly well too as well as PC-7. The edging came out splendid and the flexibility is much more. Great work Sir!

Heyyyy not bad fighting at the end! I see your getting better! Keep it up milord! Very aggressive attacks, your making combos...thats very good. I see you still getting a bit tired, just remember when you cut, let your body do the work, dont swing with just your arms...your going to get gassed out every time..also remember to breath when cutting...i used to hold my breath when i cut, like i was aiming a gun. it was so dumb....anyways...i love to see your progression!
Some serious flexing in this video.... i don't know if this bad pun works because in Germany one handed powered rotating cutting tools general refered to as "eine Flex" (a Flex) or "die Flex" (German feminin article version the Flex). Seems like solid work and i could get used to metalcutting videos with clasical music. Stay save and good luck from someone in Germany.
Hey Lord Xerus you have any suggestions on what types of foam to use in helmets not for contact duels but I just got this cool Burgonet for display and the occasional Ren-fair but when I try it on it is really uncomfortable on my right ear and downright painful when I try to strap on the Bevor (I think that's how you spell it, still fairly new to armor collection) I will do anything to make this more comfortable aside from actual metal work I have no clue what to do there
Yes, I think EVA closed-cell foam will serve you perfectly well. It protects well enough for SCA rattan fights, so it should be great just for comfort, and it is relatively inexpensive. 1/2 an inch is the standard thickness, but you can get it in various thicknesses for different applications. I a moment I will post a link where you can buy it.
@@wulf1046 Windrose armory sells EVA with the most options (thickness, adhesive backing). windrosearmoury.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_23&products_id=93 Munitions Grade Arms has only 1/2" thickness, with or without the backing. Glad to help! Sorry for over reacting on that other Star Wars thread. I've learned to be aggressive with trolls, but I probably misjudged the situation. If you're interested I have a video that's all about installing EVA foam. th-cam.com/video/SDfjGxSiP-w/w-d-xo.html There's a more recent update, but that one is about more expensive, specialized materials that you probably don't need.
@@LordXerus well I myself have to apologize because I'm unfamiliar with what your referring to. I am a huge star wars fan but I don't recall any interactions between us before. Could you please describe what happened so I can apologize for what I did.
for the love of god. Don't. Wear. Gloves. While. Grinding. If it cuts off a finger that's a horrible life altering day. If the rotatory tool hooks and catches your glove, bye bye hand. Blade spin, catch glove, pull glove & hand in direction of rotation, happens in seconds. BAD TIMES.
Thanks for the tip. Upon a cursory glance, there appears to be conflicting advice from various sources including manufacturers of angle grinders, so I will research the topic further and ascertain the appropriate TPE for grinding.

I'd be curious to see what the the car trim look like on your spaulders. 😀
Those might be getting replaced soon…
That edging is brilliant! I’d love a link to something similar not overly sure what it is

Lord Xerus this will make my life a whole lot easier in east of rolling edges myself, I’m not yet good enough at armouring to get a nice roll.
@@Ms42Night The only drawback is that I’ve taken one direct hit and part of the edging is already frayed, so it may need replacing from time to time.
Awesome video man loved it Love to see the combat as well
Thanks! Always glad to have you around!

That made me laugh
The critter makes an appearance all the way at the end too!

That reminds me of a long time ago when a classmate was excited about a videogame: Einehander. Thanks for watching!
