The famous Costco rotisserie chicken (whole, fully cooked and ready to eat) is just $4.99. If you shred it yourself, you can have make chicken salads or chicken burritos for several days. You can't beat the price for chicken.
“These Simply Protein bars - they simply suck, they do not taste good” I appreciate the honesty in this video 😂 I’ll definitely be on the lookout for some of the items you mentioned next time I go
Refreshing to see a video focusing on macros and value and not picking apart ingredients as if natural flavors are going to make you grow an extra arm…keep it up
Your priorities are off if you care more about macros than the quality of food you’re eating. Gains aint going to mean much in the long run if your body cant sustain it
@@tm-te9mh I think it’s a little more nuanced than ingredients over macros or vice versa. A bag of potato chips is a bag of chips regardless of the ingredients, choosing the cleaner option won’t move the needle much in terms of health. Is a grassfed steak better than a grain fed steak sure but not by much, if you can afford it go grassfed for sure if not than go grain fed but don’t just rule it out. I’m just sick of people peddling crap food with “quality” ingredients, swapping a bag of chips for a more “quality” bag of chips as if it’s going to improve your health. I don’t think you can make a blanket statement that ingredients are more important than macros or the other way around, which I never said one was more important than the other. It all depends on what you’re talking about and what you’re trying to achieve.
@@NoUse1615 I disagree with your statement "crap food with quality ingredients doesn't make a difference or isn't going to improve your health". The type of ingredients plays a role in how we define what "healthy" or "unhealthy" food is. If I make fresh home made cookies substituting all purpose flour with coconut flour, easily adding more protein + lower carb + more healthy fats into the macro profile. Substitute chocolate chips brands with ones that use less added sugar, or a sugar with a lower GI. Foods that we deem "unhealthy" don't have to be that way. It's all about what you put into it. As for my original claim, I'll stand by it. Foods that you regularly incorporate into your diet.. whether its grass fed steaks, or wild caught salmon , etc. will influence your long term health the most.
Not sure if your Costco had them but they launched their own version of the Just Bare nuggets! 13.99 for a 4 pound bag and also 20 calories less per serving with the same amount of protein and super tasty!
I LOOOOOVE "taking you with me to shop gainz at the grocery store" videos! More of these, Joey! It's great to see the new secret finds at different stores!
My favorite thing to do was get a thing of that 10 lb bag of chicken breast. $30 and it usually had enough meat to last me up to a month. I would also buy those egg whites, they’d last me a month or longer for only $10. I would usually just cut up that chicken into portions and then vacuum seal it and throw it in the freezer.
Very explantive video for someone who doesent know diff food choices from Costco he did work in this video with pace and how much he showed/revealed w opinions and output TH-cam needs good videos like this
14:06 Re: Kirkland Protein Bars "They changed the recipe around, no longer very good". Do you mean in terms of nutrients or in terms of flavor? I've been enjoying the box that I grabbed recently, so just wanna know more about what you meant.
Love the ideas but those crispy treats you raved about have about 50 ingredients, most you can't pronounce. Good food is better than hitting the macro count
I think that soules chicken is very very hi sodium.. I was just saying how its balls to walk in with camera and film/talk .. and them you said it too!! Mad props to you!! As usual, nailin it!!!
*Awkwardly watching this video as somebody who buys those Simply Protein bars lol* I have been buying those Premier Protein shakes and the tastiest ones are Cafe Latte, Vanilla, Strawberries & Cream, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Always love pairing Premier Protein coffee, with Kodiak protein waffles, eggs, and Oikos Greek Protein Yogurt for breakfast. Best protein breakfast combo. Thank you for this video! I appreciate this as a bodybuilder and an avid Costco shopper haha
How do you store all this protein lol anytime I buy stuff it just goes bad. Also would love to see what you cook with all this. Great video, first time seeing your channel.
I love your videos Joey. But you really shouldn't just recommend melatonin to everyone. Please read on it more (Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker), it's really not as safe to use daily. It's also not well regulated by the FDA.
18:00, I've seen these a few times before on TH-cam now, but yeah, they're new! I've heard people comparing them to RX bar because of being "natural" but these seem quite solid in terms of ingredients! Really clean!
Don’t get egg bites can make them at home easily. Proceeds to get boiled eggs for like $13 when regular eggs there are like $5. 😂😂 I know you meant well but i laughed at that
a carton of 18 eggs costs $2 at Walmart and they only take 10 minutes to boil. You really, really love to waste your money dude haha. I get boneless skinless chicken thighs (about $2.50 per lb), I eat plenty of eggs, cheap store brand plain greek yogurt. If I'm feeling fancy I'll head over to Grocery Outlet and pick up some grass-fed ground beef ($4.99 per lb) with some brown rice and frozen broccoli with 3 scoops of Gold Standard Whey Protein powder with milk. I get between 150 and 200 grams of protein per day and I spend less than $50 per week on food for myself. What your doing here you better be making over 100 grand a year or you gon' die dude
He’s got a net worth of $8 million, I’m sure it’s no concern to him on how much he spends. I’ll buy hard boiled eggs, because if I boil it myself and peeled, all I would have left are the yolks.
You are lucky to have a great body and still be able to eat some high fat sugary. items. The Atlanta salmon is not good get the wild caught salmon. Thanks for the video.
Fairlife tastes like spoiled milk to me….but…I had weight loss surgery. Before surgery fairlife tasted like cake batter. So good. After surgery. Tastes spoiled

Yesss perfect for that👌

You can ask the butchers for leaner ground beef!
13:07, SNACKS PART OF THE VIDEO! For everyone who came for that part! 🔥
Yesss the best part👌
14:06 Re: Kirkland Protein Bars "They changed the recipe around, no longer very good". Do you mean in terms of nutrients or in terms of flavor? I've been enjoying the box that I grabbed recently, so just wanna know more about what you meant.
Both, but about 3 years ago they tasted so much better with a better consistency
I'm still very pleased with the price and taste of the bars now, so I'm with ya, for the price and macros it is very hard to beat them
Those boiled eggs either expire to fast or just end up tasting off. Two different packs so I gave up on them
Just get a girlfriend I promise they will be gone!
Love the ideas but those crispy treats you raved about have about 50 ingredients, most you can't pronounce. Good food is better than hitting the macro count
I don’t know if your Costco has them but ours has Alaskan Salmon burgers that are frozen. Keep an eye out for them. They’re so good
Haven’t seen them yet but will keep an eye out!!
yesss so good for a sandwich
I just saw a video where they asked for a tube of lean ground beef. It was 10 lbs of 88% lean for $4.49 a pound.
4:00, "Straight off" LITERALLY! You can see them working in the background, lol.
bro was get straight taXXED THE WHOLE TIME
dont fall for the mistake of the trialmix packs, they are NOT 160 per pack, they are 160 cals per serving, which is 2 servings per pack
The heavenly hunks are amazing, but definitely hard not to binge
Yessss so good and so hard to avoid!
The chicken shawarma looks tempting. How is it, and how many grams of sodium?
Just tried it very good👌
I think that soules chicken is very very hi sodium.. I was just saying how its balls to walk in with camera and film/talk .. and them you said it too!! Mad props to you!! As usual, nailin it!!!
Lmao I know I saw that comment so had to throw it into this one!

How do you store all this protein lol anytime I buy stuff it just goes bad.

I love your videos Joey. But you really shouldn't just recommend melatonin to everyone. Please read on it more (Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker), it's really not as safe to use daily. It's also not well regulated by the FDA.
Basically $11 for each fillet not bad.. that’s like $50 for one at your near by steak restaurant
Yuppp and I feel the quality is better too tbh
2:03はとても良くて、とても感動しました
🙌🙌
The bagged Soules chicken is very good! You'll have to check it out next time!

What’s the total cost for the grocery haul?

Damn these prices are absolutely insane. Am I missing something??
Nope just current times…
18:00, I've seen these a few times before on TH-cam now, but yeah, they're new! I've heard people comparing them to RX bar because of being "natural" but these seem quite solid in terms of ingredients! Really clean!
5 MG of Melatonin is wayyyy too much my man, look into that! Great content.
Really? I usually go for the 10mg because the 5mg doesn’t do much to me, then again I rarely use melatonin
Thank you
Looking good Joe
I’m good with $2.86 a lbs got chicken Brest at Walmart. Fk this sht 😂
Prime drinks 😂 freakin airhead 😂
Why is food so expensive in US?
this is bulk buying so everything is gonna be more expensive bc of the quantity
I like these vids
Alwayssss
this is like double the price where i live :(
Just bare nuggets are great but Costco has their brand which is the same thing but $3 cheaper
I haven’t found the Costco brand at mine yet🙃
You missed Ascent Whey protein - check it your next visit.
That Japanese sauce is legit.
Trueeee need to try it!!
Costco just opened up in our town, can't wait to go check it out, I usually only go and spend 50-100$ for my groceries, this is gonna hurt my wallet
Yeah but think about how much more food you’ll have now though😳
Anyone else notice the American flag at half mast ?
Joey Suggs on a Friday night with an amazing protein-packed dinner! Can it get any better? 🔥
The Japanese barbecue would be tasty on both the shrimp and chicken breast than cook in air fryer or oven!!!
Yesss that’d be ideal👌
@@JoeySuggs it would also be good on the salmon as well!!!
Hey I’m late finally a man Vloggin and shopping usually women nice to see a man perspective
Yesss always good to switch it up👌
Don’t get egg bites can make them at home easily.
Proceeds to get boiled eggs for like $13 when regular eggs there are like $5.
😂😂 I know you meant well but i laughed at that
Lmaoo I know exactly what you mean😂
a costco pizza has 260 grams of protein
In 2400 cals yes!
I usually get the Ascent protein from Costco. Seems like a good quality protein and tastes great.
Haven’t tried it yet I’m sure it’s decent!
Nasty get the iso pure instead that Ascent is disgusting
It’s 2.5 pounds for $20
Honestly it "MADRAS" mad·ras its a city
Who said isolate is higher quality than concentrate? The quality is literally the exact same, one is just isolated
It is better for digestion and absorption
Turned off the video as soon as bro bought Prime lol
Even though This is an older Video, Be careful Man of the Mercury content, Fish. Tuna's outrageously, High, Nice video, However! Peace.

@@ashton8878 You don't know how to boil an egg? There's TH-cam videos on that.
Throw eggs into an Instant Pot. The shells practically fall off. Best way to make hard boiled eggs or perfect deviled eggs for a gathering.
Billing and peeling eggs is very time consuming and organic 3 dozen cooked for $13 is a deal
You are lucky to have a great body and still be able to eat some high fat sugary. items. The Atlanta salmon is not good get the wild caught salmon. Thanks for the video.
Catalina crunch is trash man. I got some and it's 🗑️🗑️🗑️ 💩💩 I bought it because you praised it.
400!? That’s Bidenomics for ya.
Just no man….
Dude, you can't shop and just go by calories and protein and why aren't you looking for wild caught fish and shrimp ? hmmm Thanks
Fairlife tastes like spoiled milk to me….but…I had weight loss surgery. Before surgery fairlife tasted like cake batter. So good. After surgery. Tastes spoiled
I will continue to eat my vegetarian dit, 82 no meds. You go ahead and eat your meat diet, if it works for you.
