Suggestion: pull your top ledge forward so it lines up with the baseplates underneath, hide the gap at the back with low walls behind the modulars, and you have room to run lighting cables down the gap if you ever decide to add lights to the modulars.
09:54 Kev going for that Keemstar look? 😂 I've never watched lego content before but this channel has really sparked my interest. Looking forward to how this all pans out
I recentlly discovered this channel and so enjoyed this paticular episode on raised platform, I'm curenntly converting all my modulars onto Mils platform and would love to do someting similar to my Lego city to make more room for my collection because I've run out of room lol , so my question is where did you purchase those adjustable post and how high do they go up to I'm looking for around 16" to accomadate future possible builds
I’ve got Camp Nou in my office, but it’s not really the right scale to fit in the city. If I got a bigger area and a bit more skill for designing my own stuff, I’d definitely include one though!
I swear every UK house has wonky walls,I have shelves for my lego and their literally coming off and falling more down.I would try put a piece of cardboard behind it see if that works?
Unfortunately you'll have an issue trying to display your Marvel stuff with the Tower and Bugle next to each other. You need about 14 studs of clearance or the sign of the Bugle will clash with the Helipad of the tower.
Hey there, GOOD JOB on your platform!! I'm now working on rearranging my LEGO city. Don't forget my LIVE stream on April 15th (Monday) at 6pm PST. I might be showing my LEGO city (People ask all the time to see it). Your city looks to be about the same size as mine too, so maybe you can get some ideas from mine? Anyway, keep it up!
Promoting your own channel in the comments of other channels is not the way to grow a channel. All it does is rub people the wrong way. It also makes you appear desperate to other people reading it, so doesn’t have the effect you’re hoping it will either, so there’s no upside to doing it. By all means stick around as part of our community, and people will find you organically. But any more blatant promotion and we’ll have to start removing comments.
@@blockpartyuk Sorry about that, it was ment for you NOT others. I had thought id said something before, but cant remember.... So please accept my apologies, it wont happen again...
Watching this at 4m39. Re the 100mm overhang, why not screw on 50mm x chipboard thickness wood onto the edge each side there for giving you the extra 100mm distance ? Also who not draw on the base the outline of the upper level, then put the track and base plates etc on the bottom and then arrange and screw down the legs to the base and as you have got the items on the bottom and know where the upper level edge will be you can then arrage the legs where they are best suited. Once this is done, just lay the upper level on the legs ? The upper level isn't going to be subjected to movement and the legs will hold the weight. Again these comments were at 4m39, If you made the train tunnels higher they could ineffect be the supports for the upper level. All this thinking out loud as the video is playing.
Anna's room is lovely and well done to you on the DIY..looking forward to seeing the city grow
Thank you! 😊
Anna has been BUSY! I did an actual gasp at how cool her room is looking

I use Command Strips to mount all my Lego art it works really well and means you not have to screw anything into the wall

Yes

It sounds like you’re much better with DIY stuff than I am!
Giraffe vase, I need that for my wife. Kev where's it from please?
I think it was from Tesco
Will you eventually glue and baseplates into the wood?
No, but it’ll all be on mils plates
No never do something like that.. yikes
the lower level should be called downtown
