    Imagine the following.
You live in a world stuck in an usenet/BBS era, where innovative technology quickly gets privatized or concealed by the goverment.
This of course includes all DSP and audio processing. You have access to digital audio workstations, some form of; the interfaces are clunky, barely have the pixels to look skeumorphic, require a dongle and often imply manually soldering external DSP components for your setup to work. You are used to, ingrained with what has been estabilished in the academic radio field; brass filter sweeps, chorus/delay effects and simple subtractive synthesis is what all your music and the music you listen to consists of . Real instruments and samplers are considered the bourgeoisie; later a minor elite in failed obscurity. The timbres of two oscillator FM with a decay envelope, the glttering squeals of "sci-fi" pads and the working rhythm of a 4 bar kick and snare sequence are what shapes you musically; as an artist and a person . First being overwhelmed by colorful ANSI spreadsheets of your hood message board, down to building your first Rack noise generator. The sky is eternally pitch black outside and your world has to pack itself into the dimensions of a rural town, sprawling into 20-story slum chunks and deep underground . It has been like this for at least 20 years, that you can recall.
You don't know any better. It has never been different.

its refreshing to hear someone embrace ai tech like this. its hard to describe what you want but if there was a text to preset thing that could do it, and then be tweakable that would be the best

I think the way the current "AI" works, you basically can't get any results that are too far outside the dataset it was trained on. So with prests for example, text-to-preset that gets developed through presets would kind of be the exact way to not find any new presets... no? Of course it can get a bit experimental through some randomness, but idk...
I also feel like the sounds you're using aren't that important it's more about what you make out of them 🤔 like even with acoustic instruments you caan still get creative and make music noone has ever heard

idk man. sounds more like you're a bit lost rn. not because of the plugin ideas, they are good. textToPreset is something i'd love to see working well. but the part where you were so anti making your own synth patches and stuff makes me feel like you're losing track of what's great about making sounds. it is making sounds! that's why parameters are always desired
