One of the best comedies ever. It does a great job of parodying films and genre, but has enough of a coherent story to hold it all together. Modern parody films forget you need something of a plot to move things along.

What makes this scene funnier is that at the time of its release this film still had more on screen deaths than Robocop and Total Recall, only below Akira if I remember correctly
Total Recall may not have super high counts but civilians get gunned down and there’s some pretty brutal kills overall. Then all the soldiers at the end.

Blood was expensive back in those days. There was major global shortage of blood supply. People survived living with no blood in their system for years. That’s the reason no blood seen here. It’s very accurately filmed.
damn. I think that's one I missed in the movie theaters. I couldn't afford to see movies in the theater very often in 1993. I definitely remember the movie, but I don't think I ever saw it. Definitely funny Rambo spoof movie!
I just rewatched this . . . I was expecting it to be one of those that wasn't as good as I remembered. It totally was. But it's definitely a movie you need to watch with somebody else.
