This definitely works, I’ve been using lemons for deodorant for a little over a year. Before that I used a few different types of natural vegan deodorant and it never worked that well for me. The lemon works better than any type deodorant I’ve ever used it works LIKE MAGIC!!

This definitely works! The first time I did it, it kept the stank away for a few hours but after doing it again the next day, I literally had no odor for 4 days. I’ve been doing it for about 5 months now. Depending how physically active I am determines the amount of days it lasts in no smell but it does work.

I have been doing it for years. I also carry a little wedge of lemon with me in my purse and I use it for touch up as needed during the day.

+Kikimoliki I find it is easier to apply the lemon juice directly from a lemon slice. You really don't need a lot so a thin slice will be enough for both underarms. I found that if you juiced your lemon and kept it in a jar the juice doesn't last as long as it would in the lemon itself. And no the lemon doesn't make oyu smell like a lemon. You don't smell like anything :)

This Method is amazing! I can't believe it works so well! I am dry and odor free all day literally all day! It's crazy how nature is always better than man made! I no longer wear chemical deodorant because the more I would put on the WORSE I WOULD SMELL! This is great great great!!!

This absolutely works! I’ve been using lemon as a deodorant for 3 years! My sister and my mother are in remission from breast cancer. My sister heard about this, and the rest is HISTORY!! I use it other places as well. 😊

Yea I'm going to be using this method because my underarm been smelling terrible lately even with deodorant the freshness don't last long.

Cedrix Patiu you stop using conventional deodorants & you might get a rash bc all that backed up bacteria in your pores starts to come out & you’ll probably stink.

Thank you so much for this! I've tried it for three days now I was scared it was just making it worse. I'm hoping this is just the detox phase as you mentioned and that eventually I'll get to the joyous stage of no longer smelling :D glad to know others feel my pain!
Shanon Aldaco No problem! remember do not use it right after you shave :) if you find you have sensitive skin, dilute the lemon juice with half and half water and apply with cotton pads or in a spray bottle. If you still find that you're sensitive wash off after 5-10 mins of application :) For me, and my odor I find the method that I apply in this video works best! Keep me updated on experience!! I also made sure to apply in the morning and as soon as I got out of the shower.

That's the only thing that works for me over the years. What l didn't know was that l was to stick to it. I thought I could go back to the regular deodorant after the smell cleared up. That was so wrong because it would just come back after a while.
if we use it continously, does it permanently get rid of our body odor?
I tried this this week while in quarantine . OMG !!! It really does work. I add baking soda and I do not smell at ALL. I even work out and no smell. I am beyond happy because conventional deodorant no longer was working😫.
I did detox my arm pits for 2 days with Aztec clay and apple cider vinegar before trying this method.

No , no need to rinse . Just leave it on until you shower. Now the detox with the Aztec clay I do once a week and rinse off after 15 mins.
😂😂 baking soda almost removed my armpits, I usually mix baking soda with lime, though it works but the after effect is not comforting at all, it's even worse than the odor itself, I strongly don't recommend baking soda cuz it gonna help to destroy your armpits

i do this it truly works. i do it with lime because i find them to be stronger and where i live much cheaper. i live the juice on the clean armpits for at least 30 mins before bathing, after using a soap for the face, i use adstringent and rinse, i use essential oil as a deodorant.

Most of the problem people have with odor is they are not bathing properly. Wash rags don't cut it. You literally needs something rough enough to scrub your body/exfoliate

Thank you!!!! I shower everyday and use antiperspirants. But it seems instant that I can smell myself. It is so embarrassing!!!! I'm afraid to move because if I do I smell my sweat!😥 I'm going to try this as soon as I can get to the store!!!🍋

I've tried this before! I have severe body odor, and it worked! I sweat less and I don't smell bad, but my underarm smells sweet because of the lemon, but then when I stopped using it then my body odor came back
Also try adding baking soda-this worked for me after many years of suffering from BO.
It's a miracle.
Oh baking soda works a miracle for me too but unfortunately I don't like the look of white powder on my armpits

I've done this for sometime out of advice of some guy and honestly, when I sweat, I sweat, even lemon can't stop me!
But does it smell bad? That's the point.
Sweating or perspiring is normal. It is a way to cool your body.
However, sweat is essentially just salty water. It is the bacteria on your skin (which the sweat picks up) that causes the smell. Kill the bacteria, kill the smell.
This method, or any other that kills bacteria, works.
Simple.

You can also use Lemon juice and baking soda mix for everything ... For odor or wightening or face cleaning and literally everything...

Using this method too and it really works!! But it does NOT kill all bacteria. The natural pH-value of the armpit is slightly acidic. So applying the acidic lemon juice mimics the natural pH of the armpits and helps GOOD not smelly BACTERIA grow. Bacteria is normal and they are all over the outside and inside the body. Its more about which bacteria lives on you. Also if you have problems with body odour, consider changing your diet. Cut out the meat (it is just dead flesh!) and dairy and eggs. For me these two things (lemon juice and a vegan diet) were extremely helpful. Check out Starch solution, High-Carb-low-fat vegan, Raw till four, Raw-food, ...

it works but you will smell like vinegar and it's not a pleasant smell .... how do I know? I use to be around a guy who was using apple cider vinegar he had no B.O but he smelled like vinegar which is as bad as B.O
My cousin does this, and it works wonders for her. I tried it and got HORRID chemical burns under my pits, and I dont shave at all. Go figure.

Try Sage herb for sweating. I buy Sage and put it in gelatin pill capsules that I buy from the vitamin store. It does help.

Been doing this since a kid.....and I'm fifty.
Do you still use deodorant or just the lemon. I would love to try this out as I struggle with stinky arms as well. Nothing ever has worked for me. I've tried so many brands, even the clinical ones and they still don't work. It makes me very self conscious when I can smell myself. I fear other people can smell me and secretly make fun of me for it. Does this method work for you?
@@shianneharris4658 Hey Sis. I actually detoxes, and stopped using chemical deodorant and use natural deodorant now. It wasn't easy!!! Use the lemon before you shower or bathe, let it sit for like ten minutes and then use your deodorant. Also, chlorophyll which you can buy on Amazon helps with getting rid of body odor. You put it in your water and drink it. Try a armpit detox with the Aztec clay. Hope this information helps!!! 😊😊😊

I’m going to try this! I’ve been doing baking soda with tea tree oil and I have tried ASV. I tried baking soda and lemon juice. Didn’t think just lemon juice would do the trick with the baking soda! if you really want to go savage you can ad a little bit of baking soda to the mix.
I sweat alot. Like I have THE stinkiest armpits. This removed the odor by almost 80%. I still sweat but it smells like nothing. The only thing that stinks is my T-shirt.

Thanks for the tips. Cuttin down on excessive proteins, carbs and seafoods also helps alot. Bcos the body get rids of waste thru sweat also. And eatin more fruits and vegs, drink more water😊
I do a detox fast, the body sweat out very smelly sweat. On the 2nd wk, the sweat is not so bad and sweatin lessen also.
I have gut, liver and high colestriol issues. Accordin to doctors, those with health issues tends to sweat profusely.

I’ve started smelling at 56! I use lemons now and it does last at least half a day. So I use them at night before bed and morning!
Try applying original flavor Milk of Magnesia after lemon dries. You will be fresh all week or until you next shower.

Yes take a slice and apply directly on but be careful to wait a couple hours if you JUST Shaved because it will sting! I don't usually wipe it off but if you're sensitive I would apply, leave it on for 10 mins and then wipe off.
