the heatgun shrinkwrap is a really nice touch, i'm gonna borrow that ty! Sellers who appreciate protecting against corner dings properly (or at all) is a really rare find. Your customer definitely love that.
I tend to use bags, boards, and Gemini mailers when shipping. However, I post lots of 10 books at a time. A method like this will be helpful if/when I step up to selling runs of 40/50/60 books. I recently acquired a collection of 12,000 +/- comics, so I've been looking for ways to get more out the door. Thanks.
When I do lots of 10 I bag and board, place in a Gemini, then slide them into a Priority Mail LEGAL envelop. The LEGAL size is special order from the USPS, which is why I think it flies under the radar. The eBay rate for the legal envelop is $7.90, so I take a little hit and charge $7 for shipping, just so it is an even number that feels a little more reasonable for the crowd that feels entitled to free shipping.
@@Nerdsonearth yep, same here. The only catch, for those who don’t know, is you have to order them from the USPS website. Local PO doesn’t stock them like regular flat rate envelopes.
That's a great tip for protecting the edges. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks brother.

So true about the unboxing experience. Great idea to shrink wrap. Really elevates the unboxing.
I just got some new shrink bags for action figures at the Pink Elephant but I got the wrong size because I'm a dumdum.
Very thoughtful and customer focused!
@@terrencecoccoli524 Thanks for watching, Terrence!
Great video. What size are the card boards ? thanks
I cut them to be about a quarter of an inch wider than the comics on every side.
do you have any tips on how to ship a full short box? I cant find one video on that anywhere and yet its so common.

False economy. Bag and board everything. Saving pennies while maybe dinging the corner of books? Not acceptable.
Never had corners dinged in a gazillion shipments.
