A Walk-thru of How We Use Aftershoot A.I. Culling and Editing

As part of our weekly Photography180 series, we released a brief walk-thru of ‪@aftershoot‬ A.I. Culling and the benefits it has had on our post-processing workflow. In this longer form walkthrough, we go a bit more in-depth not just on Culling but also the Editing portion of Afterrshoot...think Color-Correction.
The amount of time we have saved by leveraging this amazing technology is absolutely unreal. Not only do we spend less time selecting images, but also significantly less time correction images which allows us the ability to deliver galleries quicker and with improved results.

I use aftershoot for culling and editing. I think it saves about 80% of the workflow, but i still need to go through all the duplicates quickly for culling. It seems to miss a few great photos, maybe 5-8% of overall. At full screen mode, the quality seems to be lower quality, but i learned to trust the labeling based on focus. Thanks for the videos. It's a great channel. Im subscribed.

Thanks so much for subscribing and I agree with everything you've said. It would be unfair to assume that these apps could get us 100% of the way without any effort on our end. However, that said, AfterShoot getting me 80% or more thru that initial cull is absolutely life-changing. We will happily go thru the smaller set with a closer eye to find those few that it may have missed or mistakenly included. I'm sure the AI will only continue to get more and more accurate with time but we very lucky to have this capability for now ;)
