I remember as a kid first encountering "eat rock" guy and thinking it was the funniest thing in the world. I'm glad to rediscover as an alleged adult that everyone else who played this thought the same.
He's pretty clever.
The Boulder defies gravity and physics and instead relies on its heat seaking instincts and turns toward units

And that's why he's Sacred Stones' best unit.
Ever since you uploaded the stream footage of Reyson eating three rocks I've been waiting for this.

Probably for the best, seeing as Reyson was planning to kill literally everyone like 8 chapters ago.

And with the realization of what Ashnard's plan was, he gained the Mad king tittle in Tellius' history after the campaign ended. It bothers me that Awakening gave that tittle to the first cartoon villain it presented.

the laugh i let out when i saw they were going to push down even more boulders after the map had ended and killed your bird
This is the like 3rd time he could of looked up where something to potentially save units. But he would of lost them in some other stupid way so it balances out 😂
You gotta admit, the Daein soldiers were pretty clever to make Reyson Eat Rock like that.
Reyson getting hit by three rocks or Ced waiting as poison slowly kills him.

Yes
The Ced one. Reyson dying was still just one really big mistake. Ced required like 30+ end turn commands while taking no action to avoid an entirely preventable death of one of the game's strongest combat units.
One could even argue Ced is more valuable than Reyson here, since keeping him safe while also dancing important units against the enemy density of Maniac mode isn't really all too plausible.

Also in this chapter we get Llargo who’s special for being the only unit in path of radiance not playable in radiant dawn
And, against overwhelming popular misconception, he does NOT give transfer bonuses of any kind to Calill.

I'm trying to look and the map and have no idea what kind of path the rocks follow. Even trial and error feels out of the question when the enemies can throw multiple in a single turn
