    I watched this video 3 times to get your views up! And to anyone reading this who's read my comments on other Babble On videos and thought I was a Asaf-hating troll, I'm not. I love Asaf.

    This song used was used briefly for the introduction of the Billy Hargrove character in Stranger Things (Season 1)

      That vaguely rings a bell. Although it seems many dislike this song from The Scorpions' work, we love it!

    Had to look up this video as well of course, after In Trance. Even if the song is not that high up on my Scorpions hit list, it's still a great song that begs you to ramp up the volume and let the neighbours have some fun, too ;) The lyrics leave not much open for discussion, though, huh? 😂
    I loved the 80s... and I admit I would give a lot to be able to get back, especially since half the world seems to be losing its mind right now *sigh*
    Thanks for another reaction to my favourite band :)
    And since I saw that in a thread further down - they still draw an amazing crowd of young people in their concerts. I guess great music never gets old?

      Yeah, the 80s were great! I (Itai) still love this song, even if people rank it lower on their Scorpions lists. It is just such a staple song in their catalogue and the reason many people know them in the first place.
      Yes, great music almost always stands the test of time. I agree. Most of the music I prefer to listen to on a regularly basis is from "years gone by".
      As far as the world losing its mind, it is also a topic that keeps coming up in many of our episodes. Lol.
      BTW, the new/recent Scorpions album is freakin' awesome!
      Thank you again for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated! 🙏

      @@myindieprodentertainment Well, that what happens when you get older... your music taste gets stuck in your youth. But I still think the 70s/80s/90s were truly a golden era for music. It's amazing how many young people don't like modern music that much and also listen to older stuff.
      I admit I have not listened to Rock Believer yet... well, the title song. Once. I was too afraid I'd be disappointed ;) That would just break my heart. But if you say it's awesome, maybe I should risk it...

      @@miceandmen I've only heard a couple of songs from Rock Believer so far myself. I was hoping we'd do more of them on the show. We still might.

    This is ok for those who follow the mainstream media garbage since it is a very popular radio-friendly song. you should go back even further to seriously enjoy the Scorpions starting from 1974 through 1980 these were the best years. Fly to the Rainbow, In Trance, Virgin Killer, Taken by Force, Lovedrive, and Animal Magnetism were the ultimate albums of the Scorpions. I was only able to watch 1:14 this stupid song was over played on MTV and the radio it got sickening and it is still sickening bwhahahahahahaha

      In one point I agree. The early Scorpions were great.

      We love this song. Not sure how old you are, but we were around when the song was released and I (Itai) remember how much I liked it as a teenager and it has stuck as a favourite up to today. Also, I guess if we all had the same taste, it would be a sad, boring world 😉
      In any case, Sal, you might prefer this one, which we released a couple of months ago: th-cam.com/video/KOWUZKiDtac/w-d-xo.html

      @@andreadee1567 Yes, early Scorpions were great, but I (Itai) believe they still are. Is it partly Nostalgia? Probably. but their music makes me feel good and I'll stick with it! 🙂
      Either way, thank you for viewing and for chiming in, Andrea! We appreciate it! 🙏

    • @andreadee1567
      @andreadee1567 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@myindieprodentertainment Nostalgia is the right word. We both stick with the music of our teenage years, which is normal and a good thing. I was in my teenage years in the 70s, and you are younger. What do you think, are the Scorpions still catching teenager, although the members are probably over 70 now? 🙂

    • @myindieprodentertainment
      @myindieprodentertainment  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@andreadee1567 Not sure if they are still getting that younger crowd, but their older fans are still behind them, no question. I (Itai) was born in early-mid 70s. By the time the 80s came around I couldn't get to sleep at night without listening to the Live in Japan, Tokyo Tapes double album (true story). I much prefer their earlier work, which had a certain edge to it, but I like some (maybe much of) their later work as well. Just a great band who know how to make awesome music! I say "stick with your favourites". For the most part, they don't make music like they used to, so we need to keep going to what we truly know and love. Then again, I've recently started getting into current Japanese Hard Rock and Metal and... it is awesome!
      Thanks again for engaging. We appreciate you! 🙏

    I am more a "child" of the 70s. I didn’t like the 80s although there of course were good music, too. And the music videos of the 80s were weird!
