Before I got into console games, this was one of the first games I've played. And since I'm a Thomas fan, I had a lot of fun playing this. Honestly, I love the soundtracks in this game, but I feel like this should've had a ending, like the previous games.
yea the game should end when you get max tokens on all the characters, i think there should also be a free roam mode but maybe these types of games can’t fit alot on them
I remember getting this game for my birthday when I was 6. I recognized the graphics, I forgot about this for years. Thanks for bringing back a bit of my childhood
I had loads of memories playing this as a kid. It was great. I still have it actually, but I can't find it. Now if only someone could rip and upload the music from it, cause I honestly want to hear some of these tracks again.
Oh my gosh I remember this. It was the first vg I got religiously interested in and played for months. Unfortunately, I played it so much that selecting Molly would eventually cause the game to crash.
How tf did I forget this existed. Literally my entrance to the video game world. I was playing this at age 6. AGE SIX! I need to find one and buy it now
Well unless you a game crash glitch that forces you to start a new save as an ending. Yeah, I remember back in my childhood when I used to play this all time. After playing long enough, I would always encounter this annoying crash that would eventually force me to start a new save entirely because it would refuse to let me play the game at all. But yeah, I don't think there is an actual ending to this game and if there somehow is then I was never able to get to that ending.
Oh my god, I finally found the Thomas game that I used to play when I was around 5. This brings back so many memories although seeing now, it looks like a meh game.
Really had to dig deep into the dark corners of my mind to remember this existed lmao. Alot more impressive than most plug n play games tbh. Pretty close to open world in a sorta way.
00:45:19 - Sir Topham Hatt: On track and on time, James. You’re certainly helping me out a lot. The fog is lifting, home at last. James: Thank you, sir. This is my home.
Remember playing this when I was younger, I even still have it to which is in a box filled with my entire collection of Thomas the Tank Engine stuff within the garage.
The thing about this game for me was that i didnt pay attention to anything, i just liked driving around, but because i wasnt completing any objectives, i rarely saw the other trains
I wish I could have been able to finish this game when I was little :c. My First TV fried when I first played this game and then when I got a new set i lost this Galen
I actually dont mind that there isnt an ending, the kid would think theyre just helping out on a day-to-day basis being a useful train. Thats definitely the way i felt
I can legit tell that this was made around the dark age of the Thomas the Tank Engine series. The first 7 seasons were incredible well-written masterpieces for the most part, but by season 8 things started to dwindle quite a bit until it became very kiddie & this plug-n-play further examplifies the seasonal rot the show went through during that time period. Seasons 17 to 21 were steady improvements on the show, bringing it back to its original roots of deep maturity & actual well written characters, but then season 22 came around & it returned to becoming kiddie junk. Now there's that really bad 2D reboot.
I thought this whole game experience was a fever dream until I just remembered it after nearly 12 from first having it

I KNOW RIGHT?! Sitting in front of a grainy old tv, the staticy screen wavering, I refused to believe it was real until now

its weird how as a kid and how i picture it in my mind these games looked way better than this as a kid man these games were my childhood

Before I got into console games, this was one of the first games I've played. And since I'm a Thomas fan, I had a lot of fun playing this.

Someone uploaded the full soundtrack of this game to TH-cam not too long ago.
Same. I remember playing that at a Day Out with Thomas 2008.

I hardly recall it but I think I had this game. All I can remember is playing some sort of Thomas game as a kid. I was a huge Thomas fan.
I had loads of memories playing this as a kid. It was great. I still have it actually, but I can't find it.
Now if only someone could rip and upload the music from it, cause I honestly want to hear some of these tracks again.
Thomas: How are you, Sir.
Sir Topham Hatt: Ah, Thomas. I feel fine but I’m painting a picture.

This game really doesn't have an ending, am I right?
No ending, no goals, no consistency, no POINT!
Yeah, that's the unfortunate part. The previous Thomas games had a ending, but I guess they decided not to include one here.
There is no ending to being really useful, now is there?
Well unless you a game crash glitch that forces you to start a new save as an ending. Yeah, I remember back in my childhood when I used to play this all time. This was pretty decent for a title in 2006. But this could've had more variety and an ending like some other titles had.
Remember playing this when I was younger, I even still have it to which is in a box filled with my entire collection of Thomas the Tank Engine stuff within the garage.
00:19:41 Thomas: Yoo-hoo, James! Uh, excuse me! I’ve come to take some coal for you right away and I’m counting on you!

I played a lot of this game when I was little. I never put it down. I played it everyday when I could get the chance.

Just remembered this I had this as a child Ugg nostalgia
I remember playing this. But one day the wires got mixed with a scooby doo controller and my dad throw them away 😭
Was there ever a ending to this game?
Nope. No real progression either other than getting the other steam engines.
I wish I could have been able to finish this game when I was little :c. My First TV fried when I first played this game and then when I got a new set i lost this Galen
Well if it makes you feel better I'm currently trying to remake this game but in a RWS art style
51:18 - Percy has a number 3166 on top of a smoke box. And he has the number 6 on his side of his bunker.
I Used To Play This Game When I Was A Little Kid Since: Childhood Memories- Chase Fayard The Sushi Pack Fan

This was all I played until my parents got me a PS2, this was oddly a fun game
Gordon: Hang On Where's My Tender
I remember playing this when I was little
i like how this game has tenders on the tender engines as most games remove them and i can’t understand why
Holy shit this gives me so many flash backs
I remember this game so well.

4:33 Image from Thomas & Trevor
0:13 pls make this a 10 hour version
Would you perhaps be able to rip the music from this game?
If it's possible.
I don't remember seeing the map on the bottom right corner of the screen, that's where the ticket counter is.
I owned a different version which had a different voice actor to the American original.
I used to play this all the time
My first plug in play, my mom got me this for my 4th birthday, I really wish I didn't lost it.
This game would be for the Sega Genesis
Have you ever played plug n play tv games
this thomas plug in play i had this one with the map but it broke and my new one does not have the map
This was my first video game I ever had and I was a kid ask you when I was a toddler maybe around around the age of six maybe seven
These plug and play TV games from Jakks Pacific were so 20-bit
Well This Game Needs More Characters Like Edward Duck Oliver Toby Donald Douglas Gordon Henry Stepney Bill Ben Boco Daisy Salty And Derek
Probably too much coding and gigabytes for the small game to handle
Gordon and Henry were meant to be included, but were replaced by Emily and Molly
@@stevennorthrup5790Let me guess. What about Nia and Rebecca.
This actually looks and sounds like a SNES title.

The show was made for kids; if you want something more mature, go read the Railway Series.
