I like the teaser style videos you guys put out. But not having a dealership close by to actually go see the boat, I (and I'm sure others) would really appreciate a good, slow pace, in depth walk around and review of the boat.

Honest feedback... I like the Stabi, however one thing killed it for me when I was was in the market for a new 6.5 to 7.5m boat recently was the lack of a toe recess when standing against the gunnel. The pontoons protrude a couple of inches out from the gunnel, which is incredibly uncomfortable fighting fish or bracing against seas. With converstaion with a stabi rep at the Aussie boat show he admitted this to be a common issue, and mentioned it may be addressed by stabi in the future. If it is I will revisit the range for the next boat. Cheers.
You nailed it. I was the same, down to a Crusher 780ht or a 2400 super cab as the prices were really close on my specs but the toe thing put me off. Still a great boat though.
Some vessel the 2250, well made and offers everything the modern angler need's, still very interested in this company, ali welding is my life here in the UK.

This is the Stabicraft for me and like what has already been said, no dealership's anywhere near me. A side from a Simrad system, the only other thing I'll be adding is some Shark seats, pricey, but my spine is worth it..

How does your 1850 handle heavy seas? How far out have you gone?
We been out 28 nm.
It handles rough seas like a stabicraft should. I will never buy another boat with out pontoons! We live in the great southern (Hopetoun) and it’s as rough as it gets on the west coast! Can’t fault this boat in the rough stuff !

I have my heart set on a base modle 2250 because of the heavy sea capabilities, walk around and storage.
But then I think that I could have a very well fully equipped 2050 for the same cost.
Do you think the 2050 could run a pair with the 2250 in rough conditions?
With your owner's experience, would you go for the base 2250 and gradually add equipment to it over time OR would you just get a fully equipped 2050?
I tested the 2050 but couldn’t afford to buy one. Yes it would be solid also and saving a heap of $$$. Nowhere near the storage or room for mates. Plus it’s 2 foot shorter. If you have the money get the 2250. Other wise the 2050 is a still a solid boat. Tough solid capable!

I have a small question, I notice you always tow these boats with smaller vehicles. Do you think the 7000lbs towing of the jeep gladiator is sufficient to tow this boat for longer distances? Would not want to over work the vehicle.
Should be sufficient - these smaller vehicles aren't really classified as "small" vehicles here in NZ. Although in saying that , your "longer" distances are a shit load longer than our longer distances! (I am assuming you're in the US with the small vehicle comment). The advertised tow weight is around 5550lbs
@@ryancaugust yeah, Canada actually. My long distance may mean from Ontario to the west or east coasts, a mid size truck pulling near max tow I'm unsure if it will last long engine and tranny wise.
