I made these and they came out really nice, then I put red sauce on top that was too hot. The whole thing melted right in the dish, so I just mixed it all together and re-poured it back onto my mat, let it cool and harden a bit, rolled it up, sliced it into strands and I have these beautiful tomato noodles! What I thought was going to be a mess, actually turned out perfect! This was a good mistake, because in the future, I could add a different type of sauce into the cheese mixture, so I don’t have to worry about the pasta melting by pouring a warm sauce on top.

I usually make these noodles for cold summer salads; it's delicious.
    1/4 C Mozzarella
    1/4 C Water
    2 T Gelatin
    1/4 t celery salt
I pour it onto a silpat - cover it with another silpat and roll it out evenly. When cool, spray lightly with oil, roll up and slice to desired thickness. Add to your favorite keto salad.

Oh my…thank you for sharing that recipe. I was just wondering what 4 boxes of gelatin would do to your internal organs after ingestion. This recipe seems so much more sensible. Love that the girls tried this with the suggestion of a cold pasta salad. Thank you all!

Instead of spending so much on individual packets of Knox gelatin, buy a bulk package of gelatin and simply measure out 1 ounce, especially if planning to make this recipe frequently or in bigger batches.

I realized that I mostly miss the taste of the topping when doing keto, not the pasta itself, so what I do as a pasta substitute is either shredded cabbage or zucchini cooked in a pan with Bolognese sauce and parmesan or other topping, which gives that kind of vibe...

When I am craving pizza I make a meatza pizza . I use either ground chicken , turkey or pork mixed with mozzarella cheese and Italian spice. I roll it out like a pizza crust and cook. Then I top it with sauce , mozzarella and pizza toppings and cook again for 15 minutes. It taste just as good as regular pizza.

Not sure if you want subscriber recipes, but I thought I would share. I make a 2 ingredient chaffle everyday for my lunch. The recipe makes 2 thick chaffles or 4 thinner chaffles. I use 2 eggs and two tablespoons of ground flax seed. I use a fork to break the yolk and stir up the mixture and then use a spoon to combine everything. That is it! For two thick chaffles, I cook it for 5 minutes. It makes an excellent sandwich. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing, I will try this tomorrow. Always looking for the best bread :) I bet you could do a pancake and make it a wrap, too. My go-to chaffle has been 1 egg and 1 cup of shredded cheese. I like to add a bunch of jalapeno and top with sour cream for a jalapeno popper thing, or add bacon and scallions for a loaded baked potato sort of taste. The longer you cook it the crunchier it gets. Hope you enjoy!

You talked about xantham gum... just made a simple syrup with bochasweet combined with xantham gum and vanilla extract... this is the "cream base" for starbuck's Frappuccino that hold their frapps together. 3 tablespoons of this base with ice, expresso cold brew & heavy cream in a GOOD blender... OMG! Perfect!
    Cream Base Recipe:
    1 c water
    2 c bochasweet granular
    2 t xanthan gum powder
    3 t vanilla extract
(Make the simple syrup, then cool. Place syrup & 2 remaining ingredients into blender for 1-2 minutes. Store in fridge until you need to make a frapp.)

My current favorite low-carb pasta also has just two ingredients: Trader Joe's Kohlrabi Vegetable Pasta (it's simply julienned kohlrabi - in the produce section) with some olive oil to saute it in - super yummy! 2 net carbs per serving. So many ways to use it - and much less labor-intensive!

@@abradley8008 it's very mild (in my opinion) so takes on the flavor of whatever I add. It is a form of wild cabbage, so if you absolutely hate anything even slightly cabbage-y you might not enjoy it. It's a very low-cost option as a low-carb pasta stand-in though!

Use a spiralizer and a zucchini, salt zucchini noodles on a towel for one hour, wrap to cover, wring towel to remove as much water as possible. Heat noodles I. skillet, cover with sauce and enjoy. (Your can also shred white cabbage thin as possible, cook in water till done to your taste, cover with your favorite sauce, enjoy!

I'd give it a try. Not keen about the sauce lacking heat. I like items that should be hot, to be hot. You talked about lasagna. I have used the noodles from Amazon called hearts of palm noodles. I have parboiled them 1st, and then continued putting the layers of lasagna together. It was very good, hot and satisfying. The hearts of palm noodles are insanely low in carbs. So check it out. Love the video.

Kudos to you guys for pulling this off!!! I’m going to confess here. I’m too lazy to make this for myself. Basically, it’s mozzarella cheese and sauce. To prove that I’m soooo lazy, I’d just get some homemade mozzarella from the Italian store or buy a brick of Polly O mozzarella and cut a piece and dip it in the sauce or just eat the cheese or if melt it on a plate in the microwave with sauce. If I had a strong craving for pasta, I’d eat a portion of real pasta (love Pastosa brand Ravioli here in NY) and be done with it. That may only happen 1x/yr. I’m technically not keto but low carb. I’m so grateful to God that I can control myself and portions after over 3 yrs of eating keto. Thanks again for a great video!

There is a truely Organic & Rustic pasta that ,* Hand-torn.* it would dovgreat as a cold pasta, possibly Basil &Walnut, with a touch os Lemon zest. For,*Proventisle,* use Italian Seasoning, add 1/8 tsp of Organic fresh, or dried Lavendar.
    Regards, Chef C.C.

I have got to give this a try. It seems easy to do and you make it sound rather tasty! I have to find an alternative to Healthy Noodles that you buy at Costco. They are $17.49 for a box of 6 which is outrageous. Have to get cheaper. Thanks for the info!

How do you prepare your zucchini noodles-boil, steam, roast? We tend to roast our vegies (except when we eat them raw or in a salad), so I’m not sure how to prepare them as a sub for pasta in a dish. Many thanks.

You can use a metal ruler, and run the pizza cutter along the edge as Martha Stewart does.
