*This movie is remake of "My Fair Lady" Brilliant Performance By Dev Sahab & Tina Munim, Though Girish Karnad is a brilliant artist but had no scope or overshadowed by Dev Sahab. Tina Munim is not an artist but her performance was excellent, Mehmood was so so. Overall movie is good & worth watching*

In Bengali there is also a version of this novel movie named " ogo bodhu sundori " starred by Uttam Kumar. I personally like "My Fair Lady " the most for its superb musical songs and masterpiece adaptations and scripts , also due to English , the original language the novel is written .
There is also a Marathi Play version of this novel Pygmalion by famous Marathi writer P. L. Deshpande, this play is named "Ti Fularani" (Voh Fulon ki Rani). In this play, the role of the girl was originally performed by actress Late Bhakti Barve-Inamdar, famous DD News Reader and wife of actor Late Shafi Inamdar. Later Sacred Games 2 fame actress Amruta Subhash also played the same role. No doubt this play, both actresses and the writer won several awards for this wonderful theatrical adaptation of the original Masterpiece in English.
