As an ex grunt I know how important air cover is. We need either attack helicopters with air to air capabilities or three pairs of F35B on the Canberra class LHD’s to be able to conduct this sort of op for real.

F-35Cs require CATOBAR, F-35Bs are the VTOL version and will require the Canberra's to undergo a refit to store and operate the F-35B.
