when checking firing mode you can see which one you're on on the bottom side where the weapon is. If it shows one bullet it's single fire, three grouped it's burst and lastly 3 bullets it's auto.
m16 fire rate is Semi (which you called single shot) and Burst (3 shots). Full auto is only on the other m4 thing. further nice video good to see the hidden keybinds.

I found a truck, and before I could get out of the farm that I found it in, I smacked the already smoking vehicle something like a dozen times, as it would start, rush fwd, stall, start, rush fwd, stall, etc. Well, that smoke turned into a fire, and I quickly got out, ran for roughly 3 - 5 seconds and BOOM; no more truck. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAH, so glad I didn't know how to check my inventory, as I may have blown up with it! LOL
Hey Ray, can you let the devs know the next time you speak to them. If they want people to play the game maybe they should include the controls in the game. I mean, am I meant to have to search for controls online? I get having to figure out how the metabolism works, but the core controls. like rotating items in invent or ranging your scope, changing fire rate? these are important for a good game and it shouldn't take a google search to figure out.
So with the bunked beds the bottom one will belong to who ever build the bed but the top one will belong to the person that upgrades the bed. So one bunked bed is a way to save space and give you and your team mate a spawn point.

6:28 ACOG is actually a scope, not "a sight" - shooting the puppets with weapons that have ACOG will increase your sniping skill. Shooting puppets with weapons equipped with red-dot sights will increase your rifle skill.
Is there a secret control to change seats when you are in the car. i.e.. the other day I could not get in the drivers door to my car because I got it stuck, even pushing it, I could however get in the other seat but didn't know if you could change seats?? any help very much appreciated!
the selector switch is no where near right... should be safe, then semi, then burst if its configured that way which would be a m4a3? i believe....m4a1 would be safe, semi, full auto
If you want all one type in put shotgun in hands and drag desired type into weapon and release it should say chamber click and watch til done. As far as splitting ammo (bird/slug/buck...) I split it up manually into one rd piles then load in order. This works best with semi auto mag fed shotguns as it is faster to reload on the fly

I tried CTRL + mouse scroll but it never worked. Turns out that the scroll wheel on my mouse was too sensitive. I changed to using the cheap Lenovo mouse I got for homeworking and it works a treat.
a lot of this is outdated, most, not all, but most is found in crontrols now. 2:23 for example, you can just hit TAB now, no long shift-c 4:40 you can just mouse wheel to zoom in an out as well plus numerous other changes.

I can't wait until modders get rid of mechs, force fields and "fame points". The gameplay, base building and visuals are amazing but the lore of the game is holding it back.
I haven't played Scum in almost a month, and all my vehicles at my base are gone. Is that normal? If so, how long do vehicles stay saved before they disappear??
I love this game, but my god the combat is clunky. I find the puppets have no trouble with speed and reaction. It takes me 3 seconds to pump a 12g. I know it is early access but damn it has made me put it down until it is complete. It is almost as bad as Atlas.
If the gun you're using is damaged it can take longer to pump the shotgun or cycle a bolt action rifle as the gun is damaged/fouled. Skill in that type of firearm might help in reloading as well, I'm not sure. Try using a weapon cleaning kit and see if that helps.
@@hairydave82 I get the broken weapons but this was a new one I got out of the dropbox. Also swinging an ax is way slower than it should be. The handguns fire rate is solid, the reload is slow but it can be done. Like I said I love the game but the combat is clunky. the animations are way too slow. I have no doubt they will fix these issues. I am just not going to play it until it is done. I paid for it and will not return it.

Maybe your strength is low or something or your graphic settings are all the way low cause all my animations are clean af. Hope the game gets better for you cause it has sooo much potential.
The elephant in the room must be addressed: Why the devs allow for lefties to be F#$%ed over (mostly) in the PVP competitive arena? Forcing the left hand off the mouse to hit those left-side keys is awkward and extremely undesirable, especially during a firefight... not to mention the utter injustice of having to perform the dreaded "Reach across the keyboard with the right hand to perform left-side keys + mouse button commands." Apparently there's no lefties on the studio's roster... otherwise they'd have gone postal by now. It's pure BS, unfair, and should be address sooner or later in some patch.
i think it is annoying that you have to memorize so many controls, and the fact that they are so different than the "typical controls" in other such games.
I can tell you don’t know about guns cause of how you talk about the M16. Nothing against you personally. The M16A4 was my service weapon. It the left is safe the middle is semi and the right is burst. It doesn’t have “single shot”. The mechanics for the safety selector look broken since the position doesn’t reflect the correct fire mode

Id love to see a more integrated climbing feature. Not necessarily Parkour but the ability to climb and explore without the need for a ladder.
Can you change your keybinds? For example hold right instead of single click to ADS and then bind the zoom key for something else?

The M16 has only burst, no full-auto so it was normal you saw only single and burst. Nice recap of all the controls!

Usually reloading solves it. But that’s time wasted. This mainly happens to me in death match when I am moving and shooting quickly.

Semi-automatic means single shot. Burst is when it justs shoots 3 bullets. Automtic is when its fully Automtic

M16A4 have no full auto function. Only SAFE / BURST /SINGLE (semi). the MK18 can do the full auto. :-)

The combat isn't clunky in any way. The first person combat is pretty great.

Are the bow sights bugged right now? Can't ADS with the compound bow at all, other bows work fine.
