She completed the europe part in September/October 2022 and I attended a concert from this tour. It was packed and she was again spectacular. On April, May, June 2023 she had again some wonderful concerts in Tbilissi, Georgia, then in Ouzbekhistan, Kazakhstan, Romania. She is about to release a new album and just completed another popular tour in eastern europe (Czech Republic, Moldavia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkiye, Hungary) and in Canada in april-june 2024. She also appeared as a guest in some big events such as Hauser’s concert in Royal Albert Hall (May 9th 2024). Then, after some rest and a few TV Shows, she will tour France in 2025. The first song of her new album (titled "Ta Peine" - Your Sorrow) was released late January 2024 and is a success in France. The second “Je t’ai cherché”(I looked for you) was released early october 2024, another success! Her album is expected to be released in on Nov 29. Sorry if I was long, but I hope this gives some context on Lara.
Wow, Eric! Thank you so much for sharing such an in-depth history and insight into Lara Fabian’s incredible career and talents. It’s mind-blowing how much she’s achieved and the vast influence she holds across generations and cultures. I had no idea about her nickname, “the ring,” or how she’s mastered singing in so many languages-that’s a true testament to her dedication and talent. This information truly deepens my appreciation for her artistry. Thanks again for adding such rich context to this reaction!
Caruso, is an italian song, written, composed and performed in 1986 by Lucio Dalla as a tribute to Enrico Caruso, the most famous tenor of his time (late 19th / early 20th century). He was the first global singing superstar. The story is about the last days of Enrico Caruso, he knows he is dying, and he is remembering all his career on stage and telling his much younger wife how much he loves her. It has very quickly become a classic of italia music and the biggest names have covered it (Julio Iglesias, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, …. and of course Luciano Pavarotti). Even Metallica covered it But for many, Lara's version from the concert From Lara With Love 2000 th-cam.com/video/BP2KnLemT78/w-d-xo.html is the best ever, as she was able, with her unique ability to convey the emotions of a song, to reveal the real sad story written by Lucio Dalla. I was told that Lucio Dalla himself, after hearing this performance, said that she made it her song and this is the best version he has heard from it. For Lara, this song is really important as this is a kind of anthem for Italy, and she is so much connected to this country. She spent the first few years of her life there with her sicilian mother and grandma. Italian is her first native language. Her husband is also sicilian. She also has been living there for the past few months since the end of 2022.
Thank you, Eric, for the beautiful context behind Caruso and the profound connection Lara has to this song. 🎶❤️ The story of Enrico Caruso’s final days, his love, and the legacy he left truly makes this piece timeless. Lara’s ability to convey that depth of emotion is unmatched, and it’s touching to hear that Lucio Dalla himself felt she made it her own. 🌹🇮🇹 It’s no wonder this song resonates so deeply with her, given her Sicilian roots and lifelong bond with Italy. Thank you for sharing this incredible background-it brings so much more meaning to her performance! 🙏✨
She is the Top Female vocaliste in the world, major star in Europe, speaks fluently 4 languages, (Italian, French, English, Spanish) also Russian and Portugese. More than 30millions album sold world wide and almost unknown in the USA, i will let others explain her story, she is now 54 yo and just finished a world Tour in june 2024. You now have the Lara-virus, no vaccin, no medication, she sings from her soul to yours....
Thanks, Robert! 🌟 It’s incredible to learn just how multi-talented Lara is, and it’s so surprising she’s not more widely known in the USA despite her massive global success. 🌍 I love how you put it-the “Lara-virus” has definitely taken hold! 🎶❤️ Her ability to sing straight from the soul is something so rare, and it’s amazing how she connects with listeners on such a deep level. Thank you for sharing this insight! 🙌😊

Does Lara Fabian’s performance of Luciano prove that contemporary artists can capture the same intensity and technical prowess of operatic legends like Pavarotti, or is there still a distinct gap between operatic training and pop-crossover interpretations?
Lol Lara has been classically trained 10+ years… She only switched to Pop because she is first and foremost a songwriter (she wrote 200+ songs in 4 languages which have been covered by the greatests). And in terms of rendering the emotions and living a story (living it, not telling it), she is second to none. IMHO Pavarotti and the famous tenors covering this classic are more showcasing their vocal power than telling the story of a dying man remembering his career and telling his younger wife how much he loves her. Lara is always going straight to the story core.
Thank you❤❤❤ it wasbeautyfull to see your surprise and admiration for this amasing voice of lara fabian. She is an amasing artiat. This is caruso from this year th-cam.com/video/TwG-xpXZRps/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared

ADAGIO de ce meme concert est d' une perfection à faire pleurer l' ame !!!!
Love the raw emotional responses
The song has a soul of its own 🥹🤧 it’s impossible not to feel it as powerfully as I did.😊
Caruso, is an italian song, written, composed and performed in 1986 by Lucio Dalla as a tribute to Enrico Caruso, the most famous tenor of his time (late 19th / early 20th century).
Even Metallica covered it
But for many, Lara's version from the concert From Lara With Love 2000 th-cam.com/video/BP2KnLemT78/w-d-xo.html is the best ever, as she was able, with her unique ability to convey the emotions of a song, to reveal the real sad story written by Lucio Dalla.

This is Lara's perfect performance. There is nothing to change or add. You simply can't do or sing that song better. Simply perfection of perfection. She is the most played artist in my music equipment and seems that it would be so in the future. I mentioned her in my own music site too @TTKing

Does Lara Fabian’s performance of Luciano prove that contemporary artists can capture the same intensity and technical prowess of operatic legends like Pavarotti, or is there still a distinct gap between operatic training and pop-crossover interpretations?
Lol Lara has been classically trained 10+ years…
She only switched to Pop because she is first and foremost a songwriter (she wrote 200+ songs in 4 languages which have been covered by the greatests).
This song has wounded somebody here, please don't listen to her rendition of Je suis malade, this one may kill
The only female singer that can be mentioned in the same breath as Whitney Houston and Morisette Amon
Thank you❤❤❤ it wasbeautyfull to see your surprise and admiration for this amasing voice of lara fabian. She is an amasing artiat. This is caruso from this year
