Many important points. The thin line between testing, reviewing, accumulating and actually using gear is a hot topic. Small note: I find the background music a bit distracting.
It's nice to have the same feelings and feel the same deficiencies and discuss what we can do about them. I think it is not possible to find the way without scattering a little :) thank you very much for your sharing, it is always mind-opening ☺
You always anticipate the question that I want to ask you! Fortunately there are also those who deal with topics parallel to music besides the usual technical tutorials. You are doing a great job!
E superare questi "ostacoli" migliora enormemente risultati e soddisfazione personali. Grazie!!!
Yes keep using the Perfourmer! exactly.. You already make it sound incredible. You clicked it means something. Love the story about your father.. Very wise.
Thank you so much. Your thoughts are very inspiring and came at the right moment. Before i watched this video i was struggling with my music and my work. Now i feel better. ❤
Bella riflessione.
To all viewers : don’t forget to push like button, if a TH-cam video has a lot a view but no like, TH-cam can block it. Also great content Oora, thanks for that.
I can quite relate to that. I think for error 1 I found a solution that is similar to your solution. Error 2 I slowed down to by new gear. In regards of error 3: my girlfriend saw the video as well in parts and said: why do you have not a beard like this? … 😅
@@OoraMusic Can't wait to hear it. My background is also in metal bands/the scene. Curious what your thoughts are on releasing different genres of music under one alias/moniker, or if that's what you plan on doing. That's kind of what I want to do, but I'm also worried it'll be confusing.
If your going to use John Fruscianti as an example.. Then let´s just acknowledge that buying more gear is the biggest mistake!. I still think his Album "To record only water for 10 days" is his best Album and it´s just a drum machine and Guitar. It sure ain´t how much gear you have! I´m enjoying just learning more deeply what I have and I´m finding it works great for me.
@@OoraMusic I'm sorry. This should not be offensive. I just wanted to express that I want to see more practical things. By the way: nice studio, I like it more and more.
Another excellent video. Yes ! The «dead projects» as i call them, i have maybe a hundred of them. I'm starting to recycle them in newer productions, it's a way to «close» the «files»... Thank you for your thoughts.
You reminded me of one of my favorite books. “Steal Like an Artist”. Love what you do brother!
Hey shout out Austin Kleon
that one is super nice!!
Guilty for every mistake you mentioned.. 😅
:)
This might be my favorite video of yours. Such heartfelt, genuine thoughts! I am hoping you keep finding more and more success!
Thank you so much!!
Great video. I totally get the feeling of not wanting to finish tracks that don't really feel like my sound.
been there countless of times
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, your advice and point of view are always inspiring :)
My pleasure!
You are a kindred spirit, brother! Thank you for this.💪
My pleasure!

I am 100% here for the stoner/metal Oora arc. At your own pace, of course heh.
Good thoughts bud.

ahahahahah love that!
I also want to figure out how to "technoify" metal and stoner music lol. I think about it a lot actually.
my next thing will be that!! :)
