Many important points. The thin line between testing, reviewing, accumulating and actually using gear is a hot topic. Small note: I find the background music a bit distracting.

It's nice to have the same feelings and feel the same deficiencies and discuss what we can do about them. I think it is not possible to find the way without scattering a little :) thank you very much for your sharing, it is always mind-opening ☺

I can quite relate to that. I think for error 1 I found a solution that is similar to your solution. Error 2 I slowed down to by new gear. In regards of error 3: my girlfriend saw the video as well in parts and said: why do you have not a beard like this? … 😅

@@OoraMusic Can't wait to hear it. My background is also in metal bands/the scene. Curious what your thoughts are on releasing different genres of music under one alias/moniker, or if that's what you plan on doing. That's kind of what I want to do, but I'm also worried it'll be confusing.

  • @nagchumpalot

If your going to use John Fruscianti as an example.. Then let´s just acknowledge that buying more gear is the biggest mistake!.
I still think his Album "To record only water for 10 days" is his best Album and it´s just a drum machine and Guitar.
It sure ain´t how much gear you have!
I´m enjoying just learning more deeply what I have and I´m finding it works great for me.

Another excellent video. Yes ! The «dead projects» as i call them, i have maybe a hundred of them. I'm starting to recycle them in newer productions, it's a way to «close» the «files»...
