I felt very accomplished when I finished mine, but sadly I just felt really frumpy in it, and it’s now been unpicked at the waist and Im trying to work out how to create a blouse out of it, but am so, so happy that you’re happy with this new one and with your previous versions too Karen, look forward to seeing more of them, Susan x
Oh, sorry to hear that your make didn't turn out as well as you hoped, Susan! It is not always easy to know beforehand, is it? I mean, sometimes I find a pattern that I love the look of, but that doesn't really suit me well. I was afraid of looking frumpy in the Davenport, too, but I feel like it just goes with everything :) xx

It's all cut out, basted for fit, now just need some time to put it together - all those seams to French seam!@@madebykarenmarie
I have the Davenport pattern but I’ve never sewn it. It’s always in my list but I just haven’t done it! You look pretty in that red color!
