I love these "Who's this guy?" videos. It just shows what parts of the heroes are obsolete and how they do in the meta.

As a tip: Once the animation for his boosted basic attack starts, use his 1st skill so that the skill will activate faster. This will allow you to hit enemies after a boosted basic attack faster. It's called animation cancelling.
Hopefully they'll improve his overall skills so that he'll be picked more in ranked game ! Used to be khaleed main !
This is it, everyone always use their b.atk - walk a abit and then skill 1. That's clearly too slow and avoidable. Same goes with the ult

To be very honest he is a really good side laner in right hands, his 1st skill and execute can kill any squishy hero in early game and plus his 2nd skill Regen is insane as well but enemy can easily cancel it with CC, It's just he lacks damage he can't finish targets and dies in team fights.
He's one of the best early fighter with his early 1st skill damage

I think best update for khalled is ult and passive. 1st skill don't need any specific change.

DJ Khaleed has been forgotten for the past 2 seasons, literally haven’t seen him a single game in my server. His pros is that he can really handle on his own in lane, mobility, great dmg output in early game, good ult to initiate teamfights, and his “table turning” 2nd skill.
Cons.. _VERY_ vulnerable to cc, easily avoidable slow ult animation, his 1st skill won’t continue if he doesn’t hit anything with it and also easily avoidable since its also somewhat slow, damage _REALLY_ falls off in late game, and lastly again, can easily cancel his “table turning” 2nd skill with a simple cc like stun.
Overall, i think he’s pretty below average as a fighter against some meta fighters right now since they can do way more than what he can currently do _even ruby._ And if he doesn’t get a good early game then he’s nothing more than free food for enemies if someone plays him bad. He still can be good ONLY in certain team comps and ofc it’ll always depend on the user. He definitely needs a minor buff or 2, along with his cousin Minsitthar xD

Facts yeah definitely need upgrade on those 2 hero montoon is lazy asf they know how to copy league but not utilize or optimize the game.
Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him in a while. But he does seem completely fine as a hero though. Has great damage and mobility along with a great healing skill. One of his only weakness is that he is extremely vulnerable to CC.

I just used him as a roam tank and annoy the jungle if it's squishy it instant win if the enemy jungle is disrupted and additionally you can regen with his second
His 1st skill shouldnt be able to get cancelled, its really annyoing especially in the early game where its cd is 5-6 seconds.
He's too balanced
basically many heroes are vulnerable to CC, I think he's perfectly balanced in current meta, you can build him tankier or semi damage dealer based on the situation. Too balanced until no one even noticed him.
2:06 Going against a roaming Martis is very annoying because of the constant cc he does with his 1st and 2nd skills. Not to mention, it's hard to do the same to him cause he can be immune when his 2nd skill is active. His ult is a pain as well because he can secure kills against almost everybody because it deals a lot of damage if they are on low health.
If you buy some items that really helps with Martis' Ult and along with the High and Dry Emblem, he'll be a scary opponent to face and I used to use Martis before as a fighter and hunt enemies, especially mages or supports and with the use of his 2nd skill which pushes enemies and minions and with bloodlust axe, I can get my HP back and have the enemies move slow when they try to kill me inside my turret along with the first skill to initiate the clash, he's pretty strong and now I'm trying to use him again to see if he's still dangerous for enemies

My friend his ult when u low hp will deal true damage(white) so he will kill u when u down like 25% on hp because max ult deal 2k damage with the passive for his ult will be 2k true his just a monster in early and end game and with the cc immune he have is just make him pain to u and ur team i like use him with insper or execute to destroy my enemy hops and dreams:)
1. The rise of the anti-heal started his fall.
2. Missing the 1st skill will horribly punish him in a 1v1 fight and a teamfight.
3. A single CC is enough to shut him down. It stops most of his skills from being useful.
4. No clear power spike. All meta heroes have a power spike that makes then relevant on the game. Minsithar suffers the same fate with him.
His power spike is early to mid game. Against many cc's, you won't believe how useful purify is, though i won't recommend this. Vengeance or execute is still the better choice.

Eh i dont think so because he can hook,.stun, and silence and he can also be played as a tank, exp or quite possibly a jungler and also he deals good damage if you build him correctly he can also set like a tank with his silence skills but can be countered with a purify

His 1st is heavily nerf
Newborn heroes are always a pain in the ass. Currently we have this onetrick magic man Julian
His passive distance needs to be closer and his first needs to add another spin and faster animation. Maybe then he could do more damage in short periods
His ult should slow or stun people when inside of the circle.
I remember him having five spinning first skill instead of three on advance server
And 90% damage reduction on his 2skill
And high dmg too

cuz esme exist and wanwan can easily gain stack now so its really not counter to wanwan anymore (in my experience) and there's still good exp lane out there that can be annoying on both mages and mm like dyrrorth esme yu zhong grock but he's still good it's just that there's more better than him
@@yushi6614 good point, I usually last pick just in case my teammates don’t wanna do tank or other roles, I also watch out against my own counters. I think phoveus is only good if he is last pick so he can switch out if he has a counter. All in all he has ridiculous damage and a lot of chase

Nice Elgin thanks for the video, 🙋 I'm one of the few khaleed users in rank game. He's a decent fighter.
real problem with khaleed is his scaling. he has a very strong early game but as the game goes on and enemies build some defense you can somewhat tank his first skill.
his second skill is kinda tricky since you cant just use it in front of enemy's faces and it can be easily interrupted.
Maybe they can add cc that sucking enemy into him while dealing damage a little bit, that's suitable for his playstyle and build
They nerfed the 1st skill before and now he deals low damage at early, mid and late game
His pick rate dropped because of the new heroes and new metas
But as expected for elgin he makes each and every heroes strong

Moonton was gonna give him a good buff, but they decided to nerf him at the very last second, causing him to be forsaken, I think his skill 1 should do 100% damage to minions, his late game is still bad, maybe move that early game to late game to be more viable
I like Khaleed but his late game compared to other fighters is very lack luster, if you so happen to fall behind a bit making a comeback is impossible

I agree. His late game is bad, but I think that's natural because the Khaleed I know is definitely op in early games. He slams most of the heroes in his lane.. that's why moontoon nerf his capability and damage because of the issue he had in his first release. He was like Argus but with unli immortality.
He isn't completely useless in Late Game, he has good sustain and a cc that has potential for a nice set, he can serve as a second tank in late game
His issue is quite the same as terizla, they’re both strong and great sustain but they’re both so slow.
I recommend to build Khaleed as a tank(oracle, dominance ice must be their core items) and with support emblem with the attributes of the emblem, khaleed can reach 410 of movement speed with boots included and also he can have a decente amount of damage, I personally think that with that emblem I can tank more than with tank's emblem
If they change her first skill into a continues spinning even without a enemy to hit yen it will be better and make it a little bit faster

Make his skill 1 spammable like Baxia’s skill 2 as long as he hit a hero/jungle creep (not minion) but of course the damage has to be tweaked
Also, as a tip, when you ult, use the enhanced basic attack first so that can't get away. And the ult makes you cc immune while it's active. Also Khaleed with damage build instead of sustain build is really good for getting kills, and negates some of his late game disadvantages. Also, You can lower the activation time of his ultimate by having more of his passive ready. It's instant cast with a full sand bar.
I used to use purify for his spell as a tank so that his 2nd skill isn't interrupted. Enemies melted attacking me in that state(with blade armour ofcourse).

Khaleed i still use him, second skill is broken as hell one minute you are losing the next second you have full hp…
Then count that with two Def items he become an annoyance.
because of the popularity of dyrothh every single immobile fighter with not much cc and mobility and damage becomes unusable (sustain fighters or basic atk dmg fighters might be the only ones that have a chance against him for the fighter category, mobility fighters just wait for teamfight so that's not the 1v1 I'm illustrating here) even with damage reduction ones like lapu and martis, only way you're going to win is by building full tank on them and engaging only on teamfights since dyroth can shred even when 1v1 full tank build enemy.
I still don't understand why they didn't used him before lol, same goes for vengeance, guess they were very underrated. or was it just the release of revamped Masha that made this meta shift happen?
the only important things is, u need a good team indeed.

*How to make Khaleed Meta again:*
Passive: His enhance basic attack's dash range should be closer to the enemy like Alu's and Guin's enhance basic attack.
Skill 1: Give extra Damage(Since this is his Main damage source) or Make his range more bigger.
Skill 2: Give this skill a CC immunity with the same Regen Heal effect or No CC immunity but greater Regen Heal effect.
Ult: Faster dash with longer stun.
Give him another Skin.

Giving cc immunity on 2nd skill would make it op. He already gets heal and damage reduction. And did you know, enemies gets slowed around him while he's using it? Maybe just reduce the cd for a few seconds. Honestly, his 2nd skill is not an issue though.

Im still using him. He really good at being an underated sustain fighter. I hit Supreme Badge because of how deadly he can became if it putting him on a right hand. But because of the meta right now and the Indirect and direct nerfs on him. He falls down easily. But still he is my favorite fighter along the way.
FUN FACT: THE HERO IS NOT THE PROBLEM. IT'S THE PLAYER WHO'S BAD AND DOESN'T WANT TO TRY DIFFERENT HEROES. AND COMPLAINS ABOUT EVERYTHING AND PICKS WHAT OTHER PEOPLE USE ALWAYS

Late game khaleed is very bad.
his main problem is that he falls quickly in mid to late game, he might look simple to use but i've seen only trash khaleed players.......you really need to be good to have an impact with him

His bad if the enemy team has a lot of cc, his damage is bad if it reaches late game, his skill activation are too slow, he doesn't have a finisher except if he uses execute which can lead to enemies escaping, his damage is greatly reduced if he can't land his 1st skill 3 times and his only hard cc is his ult which has a long cooldown.
He's not even used at tournaments
the meta heroes replaced him like how ml has more than 100 heroes but only 20 are picked or prioritised if you don't pick those 20 heroes you basically lose
I used a semi tank and damage build but it changes based on the enemy build and pace. And I lead them to victory with me as a mvp but the rest are bronze on rank
I used to use him a lot more before I even got a rank 3 in Ontario for him, but when they changed the meta he just couldn't fit. Late game damage was just horrendous and when phov was op he was countered even easier, and a ruby who knew how to play was actually a pain in the ass
Tbh he is the perfect couter for x.borg in the early levels since he can remove x.borg's armour

I remember back in the day fighting this guy in the exp lane without stun is a nightmare you always have to keep pressure on him and make sure to always get close so you can force him to heal and stun him
Why khaleed is terrible now:
He sucks against the tank meta.
Dominance ice and antique cuirass, two very popular ktems, counter him hard.
There are many fighters with the same ,or even better early game compared to khaleed.
But, khaleed's scaling is horrib le. Kate game, he is either a useless glass canon, or a punching bag.
All heroes beat him 1v1.
His ult is very easy to dodge.
After his skill 1,he has no damage for the next 5 seconds or so. He had no damage without skill 1.
I think Khaleed needs a revamp
for his 1st skill:
less activation time
and can be cancelled, since even if you intetionally miss the skill, the animation takes too long
second skill:
he atleast needs to be able to move while using the skill (but nerfed regen)
or blink first or after the skill is activated so he has more escape options since he needs to manually walk out of enemy range (if ult was already used) or you are dead without vengance
For ult:
1. He can either do it twice (but needs to hit an enemy first and less damage)
2. Or if he can actually push enemies while it still didnt land
his 2nd skill is fine imo but ult needs to be faster it has pretty bad dmg too
as a Khaleed main, he was the only hero i remembered after quitting MLBB for 3 years, he's actually kind of OP, his healing skill is kind of iritating and annoying and the ult is very nice for team fights.
I remember when khaleed was a priority pick or priority ban hero. Especially in tournaments. I feel legitimately bad for him

@@djtyrone_ Mostly with the lifesteal items. They're not as strong as they used to, I still remember when bloodlust axe and oracle with his 1st skill can give a huge a amount of hp, and I think they tweaked his 1st skill range.
I play Khaled and well he dominates in early game due to his damage but late he barely does any damage and is like minsithar his role changes depending on the time
If Moonton changes his skills a bit then he might be picked more. It doesn't need to be a big change too. The 1st needing to hit is still okay, just make it so its up to the player when to use the succeeding attacks. Its akward to use when you haven't used it in a while or when it suddenly lagged or frame dropped a bit. Faster Ult and his passive attack making him stick closer to his target.

Ya, martis tank is good, His second skill can be really annoying. I've never seen Terizla Tank before, infact I've never seen him in matches anymore...

How annoying Martis tank?
As a martis user here are my experiences(hope it helps)
Martis 1st and 2nd skill can interrupt charging attacks and dashes. Martis skills can counter Tigreal 2nd skill or prevent him from using his ULT. This also applies against Khufra too. Martis also has a 60% damage reduction and immunity when casting his 2nd skill also giving him a 3 stacks of his passive equal to 90% extra attack speed in an instant. His ULT can be use for kill stealing or to instantly minimize High HP enemy heroes because it could deal true damage when HP is below 50%.
Some extra tip:
If you are gonna offlane Martis first build Blade of Despair then go tank build at the rest(Sky guardian helmet is recommended when offlane hybrid tank martis). You can also go full tank Martis with Concussive Blast(Tank Emblem) to deal damage in lane even with tanky items.
Some greedy advice
Kill steal if possible since his ULT can deal 1000 true damage(plus 15% to 30% after killing an enemy)even without offensive item.
He is very op. I just used him as offlaner last night, and none of the enemy knows how to counter him. Easily got mvp.

He just doesn't work in high rank lobbies cuz his skill 1 & skill 2 gets cancelled by cc (Everyone has cc now a days)
Skill 3 is delayed... And easily dodgable unlike guve, Sylvania.
He may still work but with full concentration... Note: there are just better heroes than him

I think I have a good answers why khaleed (My main about 217 matches) no one used him. Because he have a lots of adjustmates or buffs and nerfs in the past. And aslo khaleed has good damage in the
early - mid game but his damage is really weak in the late game because I never see they buff his damage in the late game. And because I know all of this cause I love Elgin update and gameplay videos. And I feel worried that my fighter main well be forgotted soon.

Yeah alot of the once meta hero just falls off suddenly.I don't know why but more of the low class heroes like Martis and Argus is actually rising

I remember having a hard time fighting against this guy after doing his first skill he uses his second right away and it's insanely annoying so I tried to find ways to counter him then it turned out that I can simply wait for him to use his second skill then use my first skill as argus then it's an easy kill

Maybe they can add cc in his 2nd that sucking enemy into him while dealing damage a little bit, that's suitable for his playstyle and build and combo

khaleed is very good hero but now with this meta there is lot of counters so this is the reason why no one is picking him👋
What I dont like about Khaleed and also Alucard and Martis are those goofy dashing auto attacks that not always go in desired direction.
No need to change. Just because he's not pick much he's bad. Most players just doesn't have the patience to master him. Heck, he's even used in tournaments- you just need the right timing and itemization and he can dominate the game.
Khaled is an engager which means he starts the fight and thanks to his damage and sustain he is a good ender of fights thanks to his ult if he didn't use it to engage

What about deadly dart? Khaleed has three blink skills and three phases on skill 1.
I think khaleed would be able to get first blood everytime by having max atk status in emblems, dagger as first item along with skin attribute, with high and dry and deadly dart and execute as finisher.
Imagine that with the initial jungle invade. His 1 can decimate an entire team if grouped and he still will have his passive for a short dash
Try using his passive to get in the point blank range and tap ulti to have zero to no delay on the crowd control

I like using Martis tank with 40% cd reduction build he can spam his skills and stealing kills
2:05 yup he's good being tank or jungler because of his 2ndskill you can cancel the enemies buff plus the damage reduction so you can delay enemies buff for like 2 mins and for jungling is it's pretty good tho,since if your enemy use Tigreal you just push your buff in corner where if Tigreal try to cancel it,it will not reach the out limit of where only the buff stay,I can say tank martis is good it helps me reach mythic

Heroes such as Paquito,Esme and Yin just makes choosing heroes like Khaleed obselete. Just like when Beatrix has like everything good in a marksman there's no other reason to choose others except Wanwan.

I've seen good Khaleed players, albeit almost a month ago.
This guy's actually one of the few characters that gave me Maniac achievements, and I barely use this guy. Though honestly at first I rarely use this guy either.
Chase and Sustain, funny enough I consider Lapu the same. I guess I like both Lapu and Khaleed because of their slowness and damage. But I agree about Khaleed's ultimate being wait too slow.

Lol khaleed is very good for beginners for ranking up i reach epic by 100 matches using him but when im already in epic tier, I encounter a lot of his weakness and late game disadvantages. I suggest to use hin as tank roam/exp to sustain every clash especially in late g.

Khaleed can be amazing in certain matchup, he's my main exp hero and I can clear it say he's best as situational hero. A full win or lose hero

He used to be the old meta since release, I am so annoyed with this guy when I am playing a hero with zero cc skill.

If they give him a higher heal and immune for cc but in exchange reduced the skill duration of second skill that will make him viable in current meta I think...
For a fighter who is extremely reliant on using skills, making his first skill get canceled after missing an enemy doesn't make sense. Especially, with the current high mobility meta. They just need to remove the hit requirement for his first skill and tweek its damge a little bit, and olah you fixed many problems with his kit as it can be used to engage, disengage or reposition in a team fight.
Martis tank maybe a good roamer. His immunity in his 2nd skill is so annoying and his one shot ult can help his teammates

Martis player here. The enemy really don't know what to do about you when you buy even 1 tank item. CC immune, Freya Aggro-type, movement speed mad man.
Martis tank is very good you just need to pick the Lowest HP enemy to kill let's just say your teammates are the damage and your a tanky Ks player

you also forget about the high CD of his skill 2 in early game that is almost the same as some ults
