my whole life ive lived 10 miunites away from this mall. I went a handful of times when i was young, but since it shut down every time im by Boscov's i like peeking my head through the glass doors of the mall. Im still amazed this place is still standing, let alone that the power is still on
Omg me and two of my friends went to explore the mall around this same time, we didn’t stay long as they were having a coughing fit from the dust and debris, but we are definitely gonna go back to explore the rest of the place for ourselves!
I remember watching Dan Bell's "Neon Dreams" video about this mall from almost ten years ago, and being awestruck then. Of course at the time, it wasn't as trashed and more lights functioned. The fact that almost a decade later they STILL haven't cut power to the mall portion is concerning. Place is gonna end up burning to the ground someday.
🎉🎉 Ethan honestly big props on this exploration on Frederick Towne mall. I always wondered what happened to this place. Last year I saw articles about the new cinema taking up a portion of the mall and it's amazing that the mall stays sandwiched between 2 businesses. I have seen footage 2 months ago of someone coming in this place alone but they were on edge been alone which is understandable. I'm amazed that those lights are on since 2013 and still running. The mall is unchanged other than the rubble there from when they were expanding the cinema!. Over the years there wasn't much people going there apart from dan bell and exploring with josh been there like almost 8 years ago. That tree continues to grow and that mall looks in very good condition for been abandoned for over a decade😮😮😮😮 . Awesome video
Dude what, I thought this was demolished years ago. I remember seeing some Dan Bell videos on this almost a decade ago that alluded to it. Regardless that's insane the power is still on.
How did you get in there? You know how hard it is to get into that mall? I used to work at the Boscov’s 3 years ago and would try to get into the mall after clocking out but there was just no way 😭
The amount of blood through this mall is very concerning and disturbing. I feel like the fact that there is still management makes it worse because there clearly are people that should know it’s there who work for the mall
Mr. Sandman at the start fits so well with the atmosphere

I can't believe there is a old X-Men arcade cabinet sitting in there still. That mall definitely does have a creepy vibe.

13:22 I love the neon
This is one of the wildest dead mall videos I've ever seen.
Great job documenting my childhood mall

If you have the means, you should look in to the possibility of getting a flood light, it would make it easier to watch the darker parts of the video.
The fact that there could’ve been movie goers seeing you go in or out is wild
Good one Ethan 👍

They have to keep the power on. Boscov’s, Home Depot, and the movie theater are all on the same grid together with the mall.

Good vid, eerie vibe
how are you able to get in? last time i was at this mall all the doors were locked :(
How did you get into this place? Did you have any problems with security? I have been wanting to go there.
It's just sad how kids go into these places and just destroy shit. They could instead keep it nice and have a cool hangout.
Wow electric is still on after all this time
