Thank you my friend! Yes absolutely still uploading, unfortunately the world conquest videos take me about 4 months to play and edit lol. I'm still here though!
All the elite noble troops are OP like this. Shit, many tier 5 troops can do this. In my casual game ive had the same 50 khans guards, 30 fians, 50 banner knights, 50 legionaries, and 100ish elite cataphracts for like 20 hours of gameplay. Sometimes i lose one or two, but usually i go 0 deaths.
Not really. Anything not ranged can't really solo stuff without many losses. Every melee skirmish would add to the troop loss. That's for tier 6. For tier 5, I don't see what can do this, maybe Kheshigs and normal Fians. None of the other ranged troops will be able to hold their own once you reach melee stage. None of the Shock troops will do well against ranged troops and so on.
Yes! I you can do that at the start with console commands I just forgot everything is reset when you make a kingdom! I was so annoyed. Casualties inflicted back to 0 lol. I had to go through my notes and add up every casualty but even then it wasn't faction specific
Given the difficult challenge you gave yourself, it turned out well. In a "normal" run, having all Fian Champions would work even better. I've done casual play through's with only archers and I can dominate easily and that just a 'any archer will do' play, max tier of course. I should try Fian Champions only one of these days, in a "normal" run and see if it's even easier. Out of curiosity, did you use any battle strategies or was it just line 'em up and let 'em go? I saw the bit at the end of the video, not sure if that was representative of all battles. I use multiple formations and use fall back command for one of the groups when the enemy gets close. It gives my side more shots and lures the enemy into a cross fire scenario.
Hey Hero! I kept them in one big group and the only strategies I'd use was formations + hold/fire timing! In sieges they automatically went into 2 groups but I kept it at that. Crazy how well they did without using any of these methods! Imagine if I chose captain perks on top of all that! Also their 2 stacks of arrows and sheer number of units in my opinion. Trumped any sort of formation tactic I could think of
KG in 2 formations with 1 maneuvering to the enemy's rear does better than a single line of Fians, because lots of the Fians' arrows will hit shields, while most of the KGs' won't. It's much harder to get foot archers behind the enemy than it is with horse archers.
What about 1000 forest bandit bosses? Not sure about their stats but off the top of my head I think they have a decent longbow and sword and shield. Would be interesting at the very least.
I knowww! When I saw 'Banner Knight' and the look of their armour I thought they must be THE best unit in the game, having the game named after them even but nope lol
Console commands (PC) you make a good point, when I get home I'll edit the description and out what console commands I used. Side note - when you add troops via console commands your party size increases to 5,000. Imagine 5,000 Fian champions lol
i destroy 980 empire army that have like 150 cav and 50 horse archer 300-350 inf and the rest is archer, with just 234 archer with 167 of them being fian champion and the rest is just fian and clan member at the bridge near Epicrotea, i split my archer into 2 team and put them left and right so when the enemy attack they got destroyed by the cross fire. the result is 4 fian champion death and 5 wounded and the enemy retreat after losing 541 of their soldier, their infantry never even reach 1 of my split archer team they got destroyed at the bridge. thats just how op fian champion lol.
You could've had a lot less casualties if you used proper tactics/formation. 1. Split units into 4s for flanking. 2. Use loose formation. I see a lot of your archers are bunched up. If your archers are too close to each other then there's no room for them to shoot. 3. If enemy infantry are in shield wall then you can kite them, meaning keep moving your troops away from them and whittle them down with arrows.
Two stacks of arrows each, and they were just as useful with their swords - though you're absolutely right it did waste arrows but it's a nice indicator to know that the enemy are in range and you can wait for them to come to you there
@@bim_94 :) Yh fians got quite alot of arrows just that if u want to maximize the use of the fians split them up into more groups and then have som fighting with swords and some shooting from the sides so the soldiers cant block the arrows with their sheilds bc they are focused on the fians that are fighting them with swords. @TheGnue I reckon it would be amazing! Imagine your buddy being 20 minutes deep into a 500 v 2000 and you racing across the map to make it in time with your fresh army to help save them!
I'm sorry but you use them in an inefficient way. I'd love to talk about my tactics, but I'd end up writing a book. I do use a Fian Champion only approach to this game, and they're capable of doing far better.
Write that book mate! haha so I am not at all a 'good player' and i refused to have 4 groups and micromanage them, i did have 2 groups sometimes but honestly it was still a ridiculous victory every time, only in the defeat would it have really counted
@bim_94 I'm not a fan of micromanaging either, it often leads them to pointlessly move too much. The last battle shown after the conclusion. Idk if that was during the challenge or something extra, but your line was 4 person deep in a line formation on fairly flat ground. That cuts about 50% of your archers off from shooting. My favorite set up is to split them into 2 groups. 2-3 people deep as far on the flanks as possible. Loose formation, face enemy, and then I use the engage command because they're archers they will advance and fall back by themselves. The desired effect is they wheel around intercepting the wings of Cavalry while the infantry and archers end up in the center. While they take out the cav units I play interference with the infantry, they generally start charging while nowhere close to your archers so you can lead them around however you like. When the archers take out the cav, you can turn the infantry away from your archers and it's all back shots. When their numbers start to get low they will ignore you though, and I've had a couple times when their reinforcements spawned right on my archers. Most of the time I can win a 13:1 battle against me without losing a single archer, but battanians always seem to be the exception. For armies that have few Cavalry in it I use what a call closing the triangle. I break them up into 3 groups the center group is foward the flanks a bit back, so that the infantry advances towards the center line. The flanks are on face enemy and I just leave them as they are unless the enemy doesn't come straight at me. As they start getting closer I have the center line fall back, a little before the enemy start to charge, so they continue to follow them. As they follow the 2 flanks will naturally pivot around behind them eventually making a triangle around them. Usually the battles over before then. If I'm lucky enough to be on a map with water I will place a line in the water to slow the enemy down and another group a little farther away to flank them from the side when they start getting into the water. If there's a cliff I try to find a narrow passage and post 3 groups on either side of it while they're facing enemy. Giving you the choke point and hitting them from behind regardless of what direction they turn. Cavalry also have a tendency to fall off the cliffs damaging them severely if not killing them outright. I very rarely give commands after the battle starts.
Bruh I watched your video and I have one suggestion: Please for the love of god, put the bow down.. you are hitting more friendlies than enemies man... stop it... please..
I needed 60 bow to use the bow but couldn't work out the current console command lol - That's why everything is 300., they'd the only one I found 🤣 The idea of this video is as the title suggests, without replenishing troops how fat can we go. This might have more context when I make more of this series like '1,000 khans guards' or '1,000 looters' and compare
kind of ironic that the one factions that always get destroyed first have the best noble unite in game

Would be interesting at the very least.
great idea! I'll look at the stats tonight, I was meant to last night and reply but I forgot lol. Replying now so I'll remember later 🤣
imagine using the checkerboard formation with this army
Okay I’ll be real , my first playthrough recently , Battania was wiped out first😂
They're in a bad location and I don't think the AI recognises how good fians are lol
Yo dude I saw this vid on the bannerlord steam page!
Community tales #10? It's really cool to get featured I can't believe it!
@@bim_94you 100% deserve it your stuff is amazing!
do elite imperial cataphract
Excellent suggestion!
they cool and all that but the charge damage is so bad in this game
@@reuben6347they have the longest pole-arm in the game though I think? And are they also shieldless? I can't remember
@@bim_94 i like the glaives more, also i know this goes to different topic but vlandian cav is kinda bad
I knowww! When I saw 'Banner Knight' and the look of their armour I thought they must be THE best unit in the game, having the game named after them even but nope lol
Go for Khan's guard next , best unit in the game by far
I think that's the only unit that could compete with the Fian Champions like this!
how did you spawn in the troops, because i cant imagine how long it would take to recruit and train 1000 troops, did you use a mod? if so which one?
Console commands (PC) you make a good point, when I get home I'll edit the description and out what console commands I used.
Side note - when you add troops via console commands your party size increases to 5,000. Imagine 5,000 Fian champions lol
Just added them to the description now if it was of interest
@@bim_94 Thanks! thats very kind of you
i destroy 980 empire army that have like 150 cav and 50 horse archer 300-350 inf and the rest is archer, with just 234 archer with 167 of them being fian champion and the rest is just fian and clan member at the bridge near Epicrotea, i split my archer into 2 team and put them left and right so when the enemy attack they got destroyed by the cross fire. the result is 4 fian champion death and 5 wounded and the enemy retreat after losing 541 of their soldier, their infantry never even reach 1 of my split archer team they got destroyed at the bridge. thats just how op fian champion lol.
Hahah that's awesome
Best Bannerlord channel
Best comment account ^
you can win with khan's guard, trust.
I reckon fians and khans guard are the top 2 by far, there'll probably a clear difference between these and other units!
Not to get impatient, but when the next vid coming? 🙏🙏
Soon! I'm halfway through editing, a few more weeks and it's out! Been working on this one for 3 months oof. Thanks for staying patient!
I want to know how far you can get with 1000 peasants from each faction and which are better.
Haha fantastic idea!
Is it just me or the longer the game goes the more you hate the kuzaits .
Hey I love the Khuzait but what were they doing over here - hating on Battania that's what! 🤣
do you play whit motion blur on or its only on youtube? i recommend to turn it off unless you like it
I'll have to check, I'm not going to lie I normally have 0 idea about most of the settings lol. I'll have a play around 🙂
@@bim_94 yeah most people turn it off and since the combat is base on mouse movement you should try it see if you like it, great video btw
what ARE the best troops and army composition?
Probably 1,000 Fian Champions lol
khan guards can do it all, ranged, cav, infantry. just get like 1000 of those
I keep getting rekt by peasants then I see people play this game and fight entire armies solo
I saw start gaming RSA's a village by himself and fighting the villagers solo - I've tried that like 5 times and it's just impossible for me 🤣
tho u played it wrong with the fians hold your fire untill its time to shoot otherwise u are wasting arrows
I very much enjoyed this video keep it up! Fians are prob the best troop ín the game
fian champions are basicaly medieval space marines
The video went on for so much longer than I thought lol
Khans Guard are the best in my observation, for just bulldozing the enemy.
yeah the mobility is the big separator and they can be used mounted unmouted as regular cav or as 2 handed infantry they’re insanely versatile
@@BigBirdMMA the biggest problem is to get enough mounts to have enough, largest amount I have ever had was 315 or so among 4 parties in an army and the entire army was unstoppable plowing over all other cultures, only by slowly taking out the khuzaits and being of the culture to control the lands was I able to get enough horses, Wish we could give other lords the horse quest so they could bring us the Steppe Hunters.
@@PictishPrince gotta get that money stockpiled but yeah that’s the worst part of any high tier cav, at least the trade off is the arguable best unit ever
@@BigBirdMMA Money is not the problem, getting the steppe hunters is the biggest limitation for me, as I do not trust mounts of other cultures to carry the khans guards to victory.
100%! I found gradually gaining Khans Guards while building an army through the clan tiers was fine, but after a loss and an army wipe I could never get back on track with war horses, at one point I had over 200 troops ready for upgrading I was just kidding the war horses! I only ever find 1-4 horses at one time
Very cool, love them fians
But may i ask what your pc specs are ?
And your graphic settings ?
Thanks
ASUS TUFF F15 gaming laptop, graphics are on the highest but max battle size is set to 800
How do I get the script for 1b coins and 1000 troops?
It's console commands, only for PC though. Check the description I wrote what I did in there 🙂
Do KG next
The fan favourite!
How u have this much troops without them deserting your party

@@bim_94 that’s good enough reason to build an entire army of em for me
1) what if you had all perks and max skills as a commander😂
2) what if you just defended one town against the world with this army. After this video I’d guess you could survive multiple generations
Honestly, I did do all perks and I recorded for about 5 hours with litterally only 1 or 2 deaths! It was so biased even on bannerlord difficulty that I may as well have been using an infinite life mod lol. I remember seeing some statistic about my perks and it was like '+300% healing rate' lol
super rad
No u
Just do Blaze! The most useless troop in the game! 🤣 They have 1 h sword and 3 stacks of throwing knives! I feel you need 10000 too last a year!
Hahahahah I love this idea!
Is that other players you been fighting
Those lords name sounds weired
I name lords after Channel members as a thank you for supporting financially 🙂
@bim_94 that explains it.. well multiplayer could be cool tho
@TheGnue I reckon it would be amazing! Imagine your buddy being 20 minutes deep into a 500 v 2000 and you racing across the map to make it in time with your fresh army to help save them!
@@bim_94 exactly
Bruh I watched your video and I have one suggestion: Please for the love of god, put the bow down.. you are hitting more friendlies than enemies man... stop it... please..
🤣🤣🤣🤣
1000 max tier units on day 1 with lvl 300 on every perk even unbuffed makes it unreal, i don't see the point trying to be proven here
I needed 60 bow to use the bow but couldn't work out the current console command lol - That's why everything is 300., they'd the only one I found 🤣
The idea of this video is as the title suggests, without replenishing troops how fat can we go. This might have more context when I make more of this series like '1,000 khans guards' or '1,000 looters' and compare
