I’m glad to hear you liked this! These take HEAPS of time to produce so I love seeing that the video is being appreciated ❤️ so I’m about to narrate a bunch of battles and produce videos from them - any specific battles stick out that you’d like to see?
It’s honestly so handy! A tip with this is knowing that the AI often targets your latest property, you could take a castle and just wait nearby and any lords that come close you can snap up and imprison, when you’re bored/have all their lords you can continue to steamroll the enemy without any opposition!
Haha oh wow! That’s incredible! I’m so glad you like them! They take a while so bear with me but I have 2 more kingdoms to do as well as some potential bonus ones (like bandit only etc) I hope you’ll like them too!
Funny you say that because my initial inspiration was the channel 'HistoryMarche' which is an excellent real life medieval history channel! Thanks for the compliment!

Thank you so much!! That’s really nice to hear 😊 You’ll be happy that I have just finished the next video and will be posting that in about a week and yes - no smithing returns! This time it’s Aserai!
WELL. If I were to badly interpret history from one article on Wikipedia just now - there were several failed invasion attempts from the mongols fighting the Japanese. The saxaboom is made in Japan by Kawasaki. SO in my bad history lesson, the saxaboom could be referred to as a mongol instrument as it may have been incorporated in mongol culture after the failed conquests. 🤣

This is legit my first play through cuz of how much I love cavalry and just the Mongolian vibe (I did play warband before this and even there was a kherjit main) Respect to a fellow steppe boy
@@bim_94 nah just good to know that people hate themselves just as much as I do when playing this game xD. Nah I just knew this would be awesome. Ill continue watching man good stuff!
How do you have three sieges 16:38 I genuinely asking because for me whenever I try to defend a siege the ai does on siege and gives up and surrender even though they still have solders in reserve
Sounds like that might be something to do with morale OR the walls are still knocked down from when you took it so the enemy takes it back in a fraction of the time. Honestly there is no tactic or special thing I do I literally just let the AI sort it out but it does seem to be easier/harder on different playthroughs for no real reason. You might find in your next game this isn't an issue!
So I am currently paying around 10-15k to 5 different kingdoms, they all have around 10k strength while I only have 3k, with most lords having low tier troops, I am currently about to conquer Battania, what do you suggest me to do after, I would get recked if I declare war on anyone else
Battania is in the way of a lot of kingdoms so you might find yourself surrounded - I’d suggest taking Vlandia next just so you have one ‘front’ instead of 360° boarders, don’t be afraid about going into debt either! It’s a pain when you want to recruit but it honestly means nothing in this game 🫡
I really liked this video. The campaign was challenging, but well done. I might do a no smithing play threw myself one day. I have only one note. Instead of keeping enemy lords as prisoners. You should have been ransoming them. Every ransom increases your wealth and reduces the wealth of the enemy clans. Which limits their ability to recruit and upgrade soldiers. This also makes the war unprofitable for the enemy. As a result the clans will pressure their monarchs to make peace.
I didn't know about the making peace part but I've always captured and kept them so they can recruit a party and become a nuisance later on - you make a valid point though!
I didn’t figure out a way to add this to the final video but you complained to me about raiding villages multiple times but then later on I caught you yourself raiding a village. Completely on brand with whatever story arc your NPC was creating for himself 🤣
Intentional or not, I like how your banner resembles the one of the Rohirrim from Lord of the Rings. (which is great because the people of Rohan are horsebound people just like the Khergits/Khuzaits)
It is intentionally and you are the first person to point it out! I tried to get the colours and the horse as close as I could with the vanilla banner editor, done an okay job I think!

Dude just came across your channel after getting totally addicted to this game. It’s on Xbox game pass this month and I’ve turned into a total crackhead because I play it for eight hours and night. During the day I have a corporate job where I’m walking around like a zombie. I just can’t stop playing this game!! So a few immediate thoughts after watching this entire video from start to finish and based on the gameplay time, I’ve put in so far over the last month : A. This game is extremely hard. B. The in battle control system is terrible on the Xbox and it’s so difficult I’m finding it’s easier to just give command to the troops and pray we have more numbers. - Do you have any battle guide vids? To my knowledge, I have yet to defeat a larger army than my own . B. I have already quit one kingdom run, because I ran out of money after less than one year of campaigning. I had no idea that you can go millions of dollars in debt!!!? I literally thought that once you got to zero, you were toast. This video proves that you can go 10 years without turning a profit and still be able to gain new land. C. It’s very apparent that this game is ridiculously hard. I happened to start my newest conquest by going to the furthest castle north away from everyone else as other guides have suggested but the Sturgains I’m discovering are very difficult to complete world conquest with the limitations of the faction?? Would you agree? D. Any suggestion on when to recruit new clans and when not to? I started my newest kingdom jump with 3 million in the bank. Right out of the gate the only clan I could convince required. I pay them 800K!! Any videos on this would be greatly appreciated. Awesome channel man !!!
I’m at work and will reply in full later but I just wanted to say welcome to the game! It’s soo good and I’m glad you’re so into it! I do have a few battle videos of this exact run and others - one of them is titled ‘how to fight sturgia’ and that might help you get unstuck! This comment made my day I can’t wait to respond! Also side note: don’t feel ashamed about playing on easy mode, that’s how I play! In my personal opinion the harder difficulties don’t provide anything extra and only make the run take longer - and this video alone took 130 hours just to play!
Okay i've finally caught a moment where i can sit down and reply lol. i think i covered 90% of your questions though but i'll add to a few of the points in regards to 'best starting town' id say it almost doesn't matter. sure there are towns that boarder more factions but an emergency peace deal to save it is worth it, you get a -3 loyalty penalty to towns that are NOT from your chosen culture at the start of the game so i'd only recommend starting off in towns that share your culture so rebellion is one thing less you have to deal with. and about recruiting clans, honestly as soon as its possible i would, $3m is an excellent figure to have when starting a kingdom and $800k is very steep! unless you had the income to support and replace (Smithing / a positive daily income) then i would have turned that down. This reply(ies) is all over the place so please follow up with more if you want!
Aserai is a horse shock troops(jav users). Their mounteds are light and their horses and weak. You can easily one shoot aserai mounteds even their tier 6 gets easily killed compare to Vladia or Sturgians mounteds. Also Khurite lances have the longest reach in the game. They use the Noble Eastern Lance with 478 reach if i remember correctly..2 higher than than the Heavy Cata Lance. To play khuzite, never rely on their foot unit because they are shit. Just do 70% mounteds archers and 30% lancers and you can easily wipe any army triple your size
I found the infantry at T5 to be incredible, they saved the later part of the game when I couldn’t get enough war horses to upgrade my mounted archers! Their spear was enough to be anti cavalry and their sword + shield could match any other unit! (Especially when you had hundreds of them!
I'm playing on console myself and they reworked the ai combat they block much better now so tournaments with low combat stats are actually quite difficult and battles turn out much different then they used to, the commander ai is definitely more aggressive and less likely to just hold ground and let the cav die and get shot at they'll actually combine attack with infantry and cav now plus they line up the archers in the back about 100 meters. They got some form of strategy now😅
This video took so long to play/edit I have still never played any of the 1.2 versions, there’s so much im looking forward to: Kingdom elimination. Clearer daily income/expense info. Mangonel hits also killing people…as far as I’m concerned the game is only NOW out of Beta, absolute game changer (for the better (I think))
I was meant to go to the hermit and retire, making princess Platerade the leader of the clan and therefore the kingdom BUT I abdicated leadership which throws leadership to another clan entirely!
The plot thinkers! Lol that whole ‘storyline’ is there for the Warband fans lol well done for picking up on it! The run worked perfectly well especially actually ending up playing as Yana (spoilers)
Honestly, I couldn’t write this video better myself - so much drama and yes Yana did her kingdom well! I chose her as a wife specifically to name my kingdom, the Khergit Khanate, after her and the fact that she was the one who actually ended the run fit so perfectly!
My favorite kuzait tactic is to skirmish and try to wipe out their Calvary and archers first then retreating when we run out of arrows then doing it again
and here I am, beginner who did the same shi at the start(i mean, chose khuzait because wanted to be like ghengis khan) with no clue how does the smithing works and w/o trade skills
@@bim_94 Yeah, the poop emoji was the cherry on top. Good you noticed it during editing and more so hilarious that you didn't correct it, but made fun of it yourself.
Honestly, I have no idea. The only reason I do caravans is to recruit companions early and can send them out so I remain solo for the xp and renown gain. Then when they get defeated in battle I just call them back to my party. They're levelling up party skills especially if they defeat looters etc but if they happen to be profitable that's all up to them lol
So while in debt it’s almost pointless selling anything as within 24 hours you’ll lose it and more, so I hoarded war loot and sold it in the same transaction as recruiting troops, it is very tedious but that’s how to do it! One note though, villages only have 1,000 gold exactly, so you can only sell up to 1,000 worth of goods and then purchase the troops but they will not ever get their money back, so it’s a one time thing for villages
Thank you for answering! I am even more impressed now with the dedication and time it must have taken to do these runthroughs and turn it into a single video. RESPECT @@bim_94
@ericfitchett5575 this one was 130 hours of recordings and around 100 hour to edit! Battania and empire were bother around 100 playing and 100 editing too (hence the length between videos 😊) so I’m happy you’re enjoying them!!!!
In this particular playthrough I used a clunky method that speeds it up heaps - troops in your party armies don’t get trained at the same speed as your own, I don’t know if they don’t get XP or if the party leader just doesn’t upgrade then I don’t know What I did was before every sizeable battle I would take ALL my party leaders’s troops off them so all troops were in my own party, you can do this at the dialogue screen with the enemy so you won’t lose troops to being oversized. After battle you’ll get like 100x more troops to upgrade and then afterwards you just divide them back to the party leaders 👌 Also another tip is id put all T1 and T2 troops and store them in garrisons for a way to pick up 100 or so troops in one stop. Low tiers dont drain your expenses you’ll want higher tiers in your party with a good quartermaster. 🫡
As in for the rule I set myself? Hmmmm. I i never did that but I think I only meant banning the smithing skill. What you say sounds like cheese but acceptable cheese to me lol. Doing it yourself you could have millions in minutes (or as fast as your stamina could regenerate)
I’ve seen people do that and it looks incredible, unfortunately I rely heavily on those icons 🤣 I saw one time Strat Gaming (who plays without icons) start swinging at his own guy but it’s because the friendly troop picked up an enemy shield to use! I’d never have known they did that without icons off!
This was fascinating to watch. I just started playing and was wondering the whole video how the debt worked? I thought when you are at 0 Denars your men start to desert? Is it different when you're a kingdom? I haven't gotten that far yet.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it! Honestly the debt system seems to be pointless - the only negative thing about being in debt is not being able to buy recruits. In warband yes your troops started to desert but there is almost no drawbacks to being in debt in bannerlord!
@@bim_94 I see. I could swear that I was hitting 0 denars at some point in the beginning and my companion was talking to me like "If you can't pay your troops wages they're going to leave". But anyway this really makes me want to do an Ironman playthrough and actually deal with the consequences. But as of right now I'm just save scumming my way through it. That's how I play most of these games and it's fun, but the satisfaction of finishing an Ironman run is truly tempting. I just don't know if I could deal with the frustration of losses 😅
@@MrMighty147 honestly if I wasn’t filming I would have given up every run so far! I used to play bannerlord exactly like you and loved it - don’t be discouraged by others or feel pressure to play higher difficulties and all that bullshit, play how you want to play! I will say that playing Ironman mode, all the mistakes and mis clicks makes for a real exciting time! For better or worse it really is edge of seat stuff!
Idk how you are able to resist save scumming. I find the process of having to recruit my ENTIRE army back up from scratch to be one fit the worst aspects of this game.
Save scumming was how I played before I decided to record my first playthrough, honestly ironman gives it a political edge as you end up recognising lords names who defeated you and create nemesis's. It improves the game for me but I reckon if I wasn't recording you TH-cam I would never have done an Ironman playthrough

wrong! if you die in battle or the battle seems lost, if you alt f4 right then and there, the game wont save and you can start up game again and there you go.
How do you manage to play so perfectly? I can't even manage one fief and I lose more troops in a 100 (mine) vs 50 than you lose in a 100 (yours) vs 200 (enemy)...
1,000+ hours maybe, lol. Every time I start a new run with a new kingdom I do of practice again at smaller parties before having the knowledge and confidence to go up against an actual army. Doesn’t matter how many times you’ve fought a faction, if you’ve never fought them with the troops you’re using you’re going to struggle. BUT honestly if you’ve spent the entire game levelling up your main character I’d wait until they actually die (I’ve had a character reach 70 and still live btw, I had won the game and stopped playing so I don’t know how much longer he had!) Editing the Aserai one right now, starting Sturgia after! I’m glad you like them!
Your determination is awesome. I never realized how good the Keen Sight and Mounted Patrols perks were, until I watched your videos.
It’s honestly so handy! A tip with this is knowing that the AI often targets your latest property, you could take a castle and just wait nearby and any lords that come close you can snap up and imprison, when you’re bored/have all their lords you can continue to steamroll the enemy without any opposition!
I’ve watched all 4 episodes of this series 3 times now! Love the way you make your videos and this series is great

Man the beginning should of been a Mongol instrument

That Mo Jiwa character is by far the highlight of this video
I didn’t figure out a way to add this to the final video but you complained to me about raiding villages multiple times but then later on I caught you yourself raiding a village. Completely on brand with whatever story arc your NPC was creating for himself 🤣

can you show some of those big fights that you were outnumbered on im pretty new but i been running mostly calvary and infantry do you think the horse archers are better than infantry tho?
Absolutely! We’re there any ones in particular? I’m building a list and I’ll do them all in a day or so 😊
Dude just came across your channel after getting totally addicted to this game. It’s on Xbox game pass this month and I’ve turned into a total crackhead because I play it for eight hours and night. During the day I have a corporate job where I’m walking around like a zombie. I just can’t stop playing this game!!
So a few immediate thoughts after watching this entire video from start to finish and based on the gameplay time, I’ve put in so far over the last month :
Okay i've finally caught a moment where i can sit down and reply lol. i think i covered 90% of your questions though but i'll add to a few of the points
in regards to 'best starting town' id say it almost doesn't matter. sure there are towns that boarder more factions but an emergency peace deal to save it is worth it, you get a -3 loyalty penalty to towns that are NOT from your chosen culture at the start of the game so i'd only recommend starting off in towns that share your culture so rebellion is one thing less you have to deal with.
and about recruiting clans, honestly as soon as its possible i would, $3m is an excellent figure to have when starting a kingdom and $800k is very steep! unless you had the income to support and replace (Smithing / a positive daily income) then i would have turned that down.
Great Video!!!

Yeah can imagine that it was painful af. But the result is awesome! Much love, going to watch the next video!!!!@@bim_94

1,000 hours! Over the course of about 2 years
Bro your so good
I didn't get why the kingdom didn't go to princess ppaterade. Can someone explain?
I was meant to go to the hermit and retire, making princess Platerade the leader of the clan and therefore the kingdom BUT I abdicated leadership which throws leadership to another clan entirely!
i waited for this for 24 hours
I hope it was worth it!
It is really good
Damm i realized you married Yana was not by chance, went really deep into lore to get her claim on the Khergite Khanate
The plot thinkers! Lol that whole ‘storyline’ is there for the Warband fans lol well done for picking up on it! The run worked perfectly well especially actually ending up playing as Yana (spoilers)
The queen honored khulan well
Honestly, I couldn’t write this video better myself - so much drama and yes Yana did her kingdom well!
Haha amazing! Likely with 0 casualties that way too - I loved it when helpless infantry were being death circled unable to do anything about it 👌

This took a lot of time so this is your Christmas and birthday!
How do your caravans run so well? For me, after a while they simply just stop generating money for me and just run around aimlessly.
Awesome video. I am confused how you recruit any troops while in debt though? Maybe its different when you are a faction leader?
Best intro ive ever seen
Haha thank you, I want to make epic intros for all the videos but I don’t think this can be beaten lol
wow i just started my second playthrough since 2020 and idk how you get armies like that?? how do you train troops up that fast again
In this particular playthrough I used a clunky method that speeds it up heaps - troops in your party armies don’t get trained at the same speed as your own, I don’t know if they don’t get XP or if the party leader just doesn’t upgrade then I don’t know
What I did was before every sizeable battle I would take ALL my party leaders’s troops off them so all troops were in my own party, you can do this at the dialogue screen with the enemy so you won’t lose troops to being oversized. After battle you’ll get like 100x more troops to upgrade and then afterwards you just divide them back to the party leaders 👌
Also another tip is id put all T1 and T2 troops and store them in garrisons for a way to pick up 100 or so troops in one stop. Low tiers dont drain your expenses you’ll want higher tiers in your party with a good quartermaster. 🫡
Khuzait only? you must mean every playthrough that i have ever done
I always played Empire before doing this series, I LOVE Khuzait now!
if you own a smithy workshop and set it to store 100 percent of the good produced is that the same as smithing for profit yourself or is it worse?
As in for the rule I set myself? Hmmmm. I i never did that but I think I only meant banning the smithing skill. What you say sounds like cheese but acceptable cheese to me lol.
Doing it yourself you could have millions in minutes (or as fast as your stamina could regenerate)
Nice series. Can u turn off or lower the sight from friendly troop Icons? Looks way more cinematic 😊
I’ve seen people do that and it looks incredible, unfortunately I rely heavily on those icons 🤣
I saw one time Strat Gaming (who plays without icons) start swinging at his own guy but it’s because the friendly troop picked up an enemy shield to use! I’d never have known they did that without icons off!
Debasing currency and war taxes is actually good.
those war taxes really got out of hand!
lore accurate bannelord -> warband timeline
haha you're like only the third person to mention it, nod to my Warband friends

It's freebooter (but with death enabled for all) so I think it's -50%

Oh man yeah campaign really gets wild if you don’t pay attention to the quest! Yeah half the game is juggling tribute payments and political gain lol
Really appreciate you replying to every comment btw. Just wanted to ask, how do you abdícate leadership to a desired individual then? My character is getting pretty old and is leader of the Khazit (wait did I just spell the elder scroll race, idk hahaha) I know there are other lords that want a bit but how can I pass it down to my younger brother or wife (who is Yana or at least Yana’s younger sister)
I think what I was meant to do was go to the hermit and ‘retire’ my character and select another character to continue (I’ve not done that before though so don’t take my word for it!) apparently this way your original character will still be in the game! BUT honestly if you’ve spent the entire game levelling up your main character I’d wait until they actually die (I’ve had a character reach 70 and still live btw, I had won the game and stopped playing so I don’t know how much longer he had!)
I appreciate your appreciation and I do believe it’s spelt ‘Khajiit’ 😄
@@bim_94 ah got it. Thank you very much, never reached that late in the game until recently so was a bit lost. That’s it though haha the khuzait and Khajiit hahaha
That’s it! When you die you have to select your spouse/child of age so it’s slightly different to what I was doing at the end, that was only to tie the story off nicely to one of the regular discord contributors but it backfired but was still funny 🤣
Khulan is a girl's name btw xd nice video
You can blame chat gpt for that lol, I honestly spend about 30 minutes thinking up a name and I'm never happy with anything I come up with lol
You should really do Vlandia only.
Vlandia is coming! Currently filming Aserai, No Smithing + no bow!
Revenge is sweet my love! - What are you talking about! - Don't mind me i have a flashback on another timeline or a different universe! 🤪🤣
🤔
@@bim_94 i probably missunderstood you in the video i thought your wife was an old enemy in another playthrough I did watch that later on and forgot too change this! Oops! 🤣
@@fkzx77AkaJonasTornqvist hahahahha I was like ‘I’m not sure what you’re talking about but I appreciate the comment!’ Haha, you were probably talking about Debana who was my wife in the Empire Only video and I hit with a mangonel shot and captured her twice! I was also looking for Taorse who I married in my Battania Only video but she never showed up!
Is it taleworlds math or did you misunderstand because -50% + -50% = -75%
@mAnDaL__ Taleworlds maths! In this instance -50% + -50% = 100%! (Or 0% really)
Is there a link for the Discord?
Just put it in the description!
