- Watch as I sew a quick and easy flutter sleeve blouse (link below). This flowy top has a front and back yoke, a bias bound neckline, and a single button closure and the center back neck.
I have chosen the unlined version, and used 3/8" seam allowances instead of 1/2".
I'll show you how I've constructed this top from start to finish.
The recommended fabric for this project is lightweight wovens, such as rayon, cotton or linen. I have used a viscose fabric with nice flow and drape.

Thank you so much for your prompt response yesterday. I have now cut my fabric. I have another question I’ve only been sewing about 6 months, but your channel has encouraged me with your specific teaching method with verbalization and visualization. After your response, I looked at every video you had lol and actually printed a couple of patterns to follow along. This particular one I already had fabric for it and have now cut my question is do you think that it would go over your head without the need for the button loop?

To answer your question, you would definitely need some sort of closure here for woven fabric -- either the button loop or a zipper.

Love it! Do you have a tutorial for the lined yoke version of this pattern? I am a little confused when I try to sew the lining and main yoke back slit together. Thank you for your help!
What do you think about interlining? I would sew a main and lining yoke fabric wrong sides together and then treat them as one single yoke piece moving forward.
Yes, I cut the two pieces and put right sides together. I need help sewing the slit together and adding a loop?
@@kellyrogas4378 ok, I actually meant underlining as an alternative to the method described in the instructions. So, I would sew them WRONG sides together so they become one fabric piece, then you can follow the sew along as usual. This method is a nice shortcut.
Ok, do you have any tutorials on sewing the slit? That's what is a little harder on the lined version.

What can you say about the pattern itself? Is it true to size?
Hi Marie, Yes, I found it true to size. I cut my size as reflected in the measurements chart and made no modifications to the pattern. Hope this helps.
What kinda fabric did you and where’d you find it?
This was a remnant fabric I picked up recently -- it is a semi-sheer rayon blend. 🪡
