    If you have old cracked tires that lose air, throw a couple ounces of motor oil down the valve stem.
    The rubber swells up and seals. I wouldn't recommend it for highway use but for offroad, mowers, wheelbarrows it works surprisingly good. You can also put it on the outside to soften it up. I think most of my yard equipment has at least 1oil filled tire.

    • @Chasing518
      @Chasing518  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is awesome! I’ll have to try that on some of my old junk.

    Carolina squatted truck....you could sell it to Whistlindiesel. Hahaha.
    Recoveries at KOH makes some of the best memories. We only had one this year on Turkey Claw...a friend broke his front CV on his 4runner. Last year we had none.
    The year before there was 3 all at once...but it was 1am to 8 in the morning.... I stayed at camp...it was my Son and cousins and some friends that went out to the backside of Claw hammer. Everyone broke but my Cousin with his Toyota based buggy on 40's. That thing is a beast. He dragged everyone back to camp.

    A Webber carb and a header makes a significant difference in power on those 1800 engines. It's very noticeable in fact. Feels like twice the power

      I wish the truck was a pre-smog year, or not as rusty, I probably would have kept it.

    I wonder if removing the rear lift would probably fixed most all the issues. Weld some tube pipe box for rock sliders. Weld the rear diff up.

    • @Chasing518
      @Chasing518  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was worried about the blocks from the day I bought it, but they were welded in and I didn’t want to do “too much” work to the truck. Obviously hindsight is that it would have been worth it.

    Tires, wheels, axles are the proper tie down points, no suspension parts like leaf springs
