    As someone who airbrushes and uses a lot of spray paint seeing bigger TH-camrs spray paint and turning out horribly this is nice to see. Great instructions! Keep up the good work!

      @@ConsumerTechReview looks like a very even coat I can't complain. I try to avoid primer and paint spray paint as they tend to spray much thicker and uneven. I do try to keep it covered so no dust or other particles fall on it as it's drying but that's just me. I recently did a 2 tone black and green keyboard to match my color scheme in my office which matches perfectly with my razer chair. Again keep up the great work!!

    I know this video is old, but thank you so much for this. I just completed a mod on this keyboard, and I am super pleased with the results. I got ascney stabs, akko lavender purple switches, and some kinetic labs caps. Did a silicone pour, tape mod, and lubed everything. It sounds, looks, and feels great! Thank you for the guidance.

    Got a question for you, hopefully you can help. I basically want to keep the color of the snap on cover, but lose the branding. I noticed in your video that the logo came off pretty easy with the wet sanding, do you think the finish would look clean and even if I sanded it as you recommend and then used a progressively finer grit, or would it be better to just try to match the color and paint after sanding?

  • @elliskim4350

    Just got the keyboard and it seems to already come with pcb and plate foam and a case foam. This does make the overall sound a bit on the higher end tho. I heard or felt NO to very little rattle on the stabilizers and the switches are definitely better than outemu with no metallic ping.

    I see in this video you didn't use dielectric grease and holee mod your stabs but in the rk61 mod video you did do both, if I have an rk61 should I use grease or lube on the wires if I also holee mod? i'm using the zuggear stabs you have linked in that video

  • @isstylertho
    @isstylertho 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why do you not use dielectric grease if it's holee modded? I recently holee modded mine but still used the grease for the stems and 205g- for the actual inner and outer housing of the stabilizers.

    Hi, I recently purchased the Asceny Plate Mount Stabilizers. However, when I tried to apply them to my keyboard the keys would not go back up. I tried different keycaps and switches and it wouldn't go back up still. I've also noticed the stems on my set of Ascent Plate Mount Stabilizers were abnormally long. I found that this is the reason my keys aren't going back up. Is this a defect on my set of stabilizers or is this for everyone's? Thanks!

      @Bagus-101 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only easy fix is to use long pole stem switch like Boba U4T or Tecsee Carrot. Or get south facing PCB (which mostly require an entire new kit) or use another keycaps profile since only cherry profile that has interference in North facing keeb.
