Yes, it was quite muddy as you left Enville, but it was not too bad after that section. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you find the video helpful. All the best, Webby 👍
Thanks for sharing. The joy of walking through the mud. If I remember rightly it was muddy when are passed that way in March 2000. There seems to be quite a few brooks, springs and small pools on this section. Probably like that most of the year. That was a magnificent old tree. Enjoy the next walk along the ridge at Abbots Castle Hill with fine views. All the best, Peter.
Thank you, Peter. I walked along the ridge this morning, continuing from Highgate to Seisdon. Unfortunately, because of all the fog over that way today, I did not get the views. I enjoyed the walk, though. I had always wanted to walk up that ridge, I had seen it on the maps a few years back. I enjoyed this walk (Part 2) as well, even through the mud, it was a bit different from part one, but enjoyable all the same. Thank you for watching. I will start editing part three now. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Andy 👍
When we walked along the ridge it was in the opposite direction in March 2000. It absolutely poured down and we missed all the views. While in the pub that night we decided we must revisit one day, and that was on a beautiful day in 2005. All the best, Peter.
I was talking to a local on the ridge, and he told me there were nice views to be seen along there on a better day. I got a good view of the sand pit, I thought it was some sort of old quarry as I passed, a nice surprise as I had not noticed it on the map beforehand. All the best, Andy 👍
Really useful to see how muddy it gets. One to do in summer i think!
