Hi Chris. Thanks for watching. I have experimented with a Drakelow video, but am not happy with it at the moment. I have a mountain of material I can use which will show the factory before it was stripped out and sold for scrap. So it is a possibility for the future.
Came across you randomly on TH-cam but alot of military records online or in records that haven't been digitalised if have regiment in the graffiti, especially if served in world wars.. Nice one
Thanks for watching Richard. I did do quite a bit of digging but some of the info sources tended to contradict each other. I do know that the 7th Batallion Worcestershire regiment was a territorial unit formed in Kidderminster. There were 3 reserve forces so there was a 1/7th a 2/7th and a 3/7th all of which saw service in both world wars. Initial info suggested that the 7th Batallion was formed in 1914 and went off to France later the same year where they were amalgamated with other units and no longer named 7th Batallion by 1915. But this was then contradicted by another source. Hence I think I need someone who really knows what they are talking about to unravel it!
Steve Yates, Hi Steve, I had an email notification from TH-cam that you had commented on this video with a copy of the text which was interesting. However it doesn’t appear here, nor is it pending my approval. Have you deleted it? Cheers.
Thanks for watching Paul. I recently read in a academic source that statistically people living in Kinver’s Rock Houses generally lived longer than those in normal housing stock. Perhaps its all the fresh air and exercise. Your comment is much appreciated.
Love your channel..just subscribed!
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoy it.
Another good one Paul!
Thank you.
Interesting! Keep up the good work!
Would love a video on the Drakelow tunnels and the associated structures 👍

In the middle ages, when many peasants lived in draughty dammp shacks, liveing here could easily be preferable.
