Too Many People saving their Money for other Films!
I went to see Booksmart and loved it. It's actually one of my favorite movies of the year. It was a solid debut for Olivia Wilde.
Hopefully she'll be able to land another project.
I gave it a 5/10
Ouch, like how that 71% drop for Brightburn in it's second week didn't even get a mention
Yep
You’re the best Grace, thanks for sharing information that’s important for me. I love movies. Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Idk what happened but I got really sad about Godzilla. It was so good and deserved more. Maybe a show is a better direction for this franchise.
What's really astonishing is that John Wick is catching up to Detective Pikachu. Only 5 million dollars separates them. Gr8 movie math, my Gracie!🌺 🎦
Exactly. Lol. I want to check out both these films but there are just too many movies that I want to see this summer
Hey, Godzilla won the weekend. That is all that I care about. Godzilla will thrive with the Foreign Box Office.
Agreed
LeBron James' name was the last thing I thought I'd hear on this video. 😂
😂😂😂
Too many movies Grace. We are packed with 2/3 big movie per week. They're eating each other.
*two*
@@phatmantv I meant too many*
Thank you so much for defending Godzilla, Grace. Coming from a long time kaiju fan, it means a whole lot. I did go see the movie and absolutely loved it!! I adored your review as well. I believe Godzilla will always be around. If the Legendary monsterverse, halts after Kong v Godzilla, I know Godzilla will be back perhaps not on American shores. I will definitely go back to see it. Thank you Grace. ❤
I think Rocketman had a decent debut, the problem is it won't have the usual legs a musical has since it's not released in the awards/holiday season. It will probably gross similar to 2008s High School Musical 3 instead of last year's A Star Is Born.
should have copied Bohemian Rhapsody release date, away from the stiff competition. But different company (Paramount vs Fox) and the R rating plus Elton still alive unlike Freddy. 25 million debut is probably the best outcome that it can hope for
Don't forget this weekend was also release of Good Omens and people might have been binge viewing that this weekend.
Ma had a budget of $5 million. I'd say a $18 mil opening weekend is pretty good all things considered. And Rocketman may not have made as much as BoRhap but its the better movie.
Maybe if you could actually see the monsters on screen, with more fights during the day, then maybe Godzilla 1 and 2 could have made more.
In the case of Rocketman, it has a chance at awards season and I think a great streaming life ahead of it
Its sad to hear about Rocketman, my dad saw it on Friday, and there was literally no one in the theater, only him and two people
Manuel David Rendon Acevedo wow. That’s sad
@@Tan87ful Yep, but I'm still planning in seeing it this Friday in one of theaters of my country
@@Tan87ful well, if it lasts though
😂😂 like she was speaking to me at the start and she knew that avengers box office is what really I really wanted to know 😂👍 grace is awesome
😂😂
People who saw Kong Skull Island who didn’t like it prolly had that stuck in their head n thought Godzilla KOTM would be the same... not giving it a chance. Idk
I rate it 8/10. It was freaking awesome!
Will be seeing Godzilla, but never go to the theater on opening weekends
As a life long Godzilla die-hard, thank you for the kind words, Grace.
Really don't like seeing the Big G in this state but maybe things will eventually come around.
Very spectacular cinematography.. Very beautifully used CGI
My local cinema only had 3 screenings a day. The screening I was at, it was full
