I appreciate the video as I bought 2 Camco shrouds and today is the day to put them on. You saved me some time trying to figure out the installation as my shrouds did not come with an instruction sheet. Happy (and dry!) Camping!
Seems like there should be something sealing around the bottom of the cover to keep the bugs from just crawling under the cover. The bug screen does no good if the rest of it isn't sealed.
Is that grey stuff butyl tape? Isn't that supposed to go in between the vent and roof...like a gasket? That's what I did anyway and then taped over the lip with Eternabond tape.

Glad to hear this has helped you out.
Yes my situation was the same. My Cover came with no instructions either. This video was a huge help!
Thanks for showing how to do this
Is your fantastic fan able to open fully with this cover? Says 7” high doesn’t seem tall enough for the fan cover to open fully
It seems to fully open. If it isn't it isn't off by much.

When the cover is cranked to the closed position that gray seal presses against the cover to prevent bugs from coming in.
Great video. Thanks.

self leveling roof sealant might be order also
+jscizo It's a brand new 2014 trailer.
Hmm the lap sealant. I see why you wouldn’t want to use it…. But I feel like the use of it outweighs the reasons not to.
@@MReeb-nq9pd He still has the inner original cover in place. That has the screen as well to keep the bugs out.
