Due to hunting, disease, habitat loss, and unregulated mass tourism, the red-shanked douc could face extinction in the near future. The new one's a must see! You'll be amazed, and he doesn't talk a lot, just enough, and the animals of the sounds can actually be clearly heard. Start with Patagonia. It's gloriously beautiful!

I just discovered these STUNNING creatures today and I have never fallen in love with an animal so quickly. Absolutely my favourite animal ever. They look majestic, from another world.

Sadly Asian countries don’t have much protection for such endangered animals ☹️ they have bigger problems to deal with and it’s heartbreaking to even think about these beautiful animals completely vanishing

Once you've seen one of these magnificent creatures in person you understand that humans may not be the ones having incredible experiences on this planet. They look so human. So emotive and expressive. The colors are of a hue that is unique only to them and it's a vibrancy beyond comparison. Wild.

Recently I watch a lot of these podcasts, and I really find it enjoyable and I say may Allah be glorified, in Coran he always invites us to contemplate about the variety of his creatures. Ain't it amazing and beautiful? How beautiful are these creatures and how they astonishing our minds, I find it overwhelming seeing the beauty of this universe and the world we live in.
There are some species here on earth that you see and you have to think they deserve this planet more than we. Thank you, Nat Geo, for showing us yet another example of this. They are all so beautiful and seemingly so peaceful.
Nothing deserves anything. We simply have evolved to quickly addapt to our enviorment and with our intelligence took over most land on earth.

Fun fact: Red-shanked douc can only be seen in three zoos outside of southeast Asia, and I've visited one of them. They truly are beautiful 😍
I hope you stop supporting zoos. Zoos = prison. This wild animal deserves to be running wild and free in the wild. Sanctuary is better than zoo who trains & takes care of wild animals and release it back to the wild.
