Equiano at the Irish National Stud

Equiano (Fr) (Acclamation {GB}), who is new to the Irish National Stud, will have breeding right options available for breeders, the County Kildare stud announced. Already the sire of Group 1 winners Equilateral (GB) and Belvoir Bay (GB), the 15-year-old is the sire of 29 stakes horses and will stand for €3,000 in 2021.
“Proven horses at this kind of fee are rare,” said Irish National Stud Director of Sales Gary Swift.

Belvoir Bay is Movie ... From being set free running from Flames in a lilac fire , horses running in complete terror & kaozz ... A deadly stall, dry grass blaze with tall palm trees like torches ,evil winds, palm friend ablaze flying into backs of panicked horses. Horses owner coming from all corners with trailers hitched risking their lives to save the beloved horses. Road blocked, highway patrol ditching traffiv on 76. In site but grid locked roads with trucks & horse trailers hitched in toe... that mean fast brush fire took off with vengeance taking 45 horses ... thru all the raging flames Belvoir Bay ran for her life....
I was there , last truck out of SS office, winds & smoke were already on is, last truck thru to mission rd. That last lite was grid locked with panicked horse people trying to save horses.
Some one took or saved Belvoir Bay ,but didn't take her to Deal Mar race track ?....She was burned and lost for days, All press reported she was finally found in unmentioned persond stall, burned on her back ... Taking from stall straight to hyperbaric chamber & healing ... Than on to beating the boys gate to wire in Breeders cup sprint setting a new track record.
* Belvoir Bay is a Dream, possising the amazing will to stay alive ... to heal & than an "Off the charts" WIN , A true CHAMPION... Selling next day for l million & a half... She was ridden to victory by Javier Castellono, trainer by Peter Miller of ROY H fame, Owned by ...
