Save money by doing it yourself and avoid costly mistakes with these helpful tips and tricks. Bonus Footage at the End includes paramotor animal control at an airport runway and recovery of a couple rockets.

      Well you put out great content so why not watch till the end. Been watching you for many years and always a pleasure. My tip for the brake calipers is it depends on what im working on. For most modern cars and trucks with struts or springs i use brake caliper s hooks. For older, or vehicles with torsion bars i use a black thin rubber bungee with metal s hooks at the ends. Slipt the bungee thru sumpthing and use each of the hooks to go thru the caliper bolt holes. Just dont forget to leave the bungee in the spring 😲

    I just changed mine on my 06 avalanche for the second time since owning it. Had moog brand on it and they lasted right at 100k miles running 35in tires. Thought they would have lasted longer but due to tire size and I do use my 4x4 during hunting season I guess 100k is acceptable. Love the videos man! Thanks for posting

    • @briansmobile1
      @briansmobile1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Mario! Great question. When you have control arms with rubber filled bushings that attach to the arm and the center dowel or whatever is being pinched in by the bolt, you have to have it weighted or resting before tightening or the rubber can affect pressure on the control arm up or down and cause the vehicle to not set level.
