Had a Great Time hunting with Beau! I look forward to our next adventure. I will be starting a youtube page in the next few weeks as I edit more videos. If anyone out there wants to hunt you can find me on facebook(Dustin D'Agostino), send me a friend request and message. I will only accept and reply to those who leave a message. Thanks again Beau, see you in the spring!
Sure was a nice hunt Dustin. It's good to see Beau out diggin with friends. Would have been nice to see some still photo's of the camp from back in the day, when the guys were encamped there, but maybe there weren't any pictures taken? Still you weren't skunked and we got to hear about another small facet of our country's history. Nice going!
How bizarre how bizarre - 99 Red Balloons 🎈- Be vewwy vewwy quiet - I love you reference to music, movies, cartoons etc! This one was full of them! What an awesome explore, the Spanish American War, WOW!! I enjoyed your explore with Dustin, more Dustin!!
This is delightful. I like you single person searching, but this lets me imagine what it would be like to be physically out with you. Even though you prefer to hunt alone, you are a great hunting buddy.
Fun ramble at an old encampment Chigg. I always love how you get adventurous and wander off to explore. You never know what you may trip across that way and that rivulet could have been chock full of arrowheads. I'm an off the beaten path type of person myself and I like nothing more than poking around in odd places. Thanks for another interesting video and you weren't skunked and we weren't either. You told us some nifty things about the Spanish American War and just to see you hunting there in what is now a cornfield, but was then a group of nervous but courageous young soldiers encamped for training for some distant battlefield, was truly cool. Thanks a million.
The half circle your friend found reminds me of a stand for setting hot dinnerware on so it wouldn’t damage their table. I dismissed the idea at first because it’s small and I thought “why would that be in the middle of a field” till You found the thimble which is another household item. I’d guessing there might have been a house close to where you’re searching. 👍
That thing y'all were saying looks like a spur, looks like a pole cap for old chainlink fence, and the rounded part is where the top rail would run through it.
The "spur" item looks to be a fence topper for an old style chain link fence. The round horizontal pipe would have slid through it (hence it's curvature) and kept it connected to the vertical fence posts.
That thing around 3:00 was the bottom of a light bulb. Yes theres actually glass in the part that goes into the socket, I've actually made a little vase out of a light bulb before.
Bit of trivia, I'm a nurse that has worked long term care since 1985. I took care of a 105 year old MANY years ago that was a Spanish American war veteran...he lied about his age to join the army...
@ 16:28 It's hard to see the item as he's moving it around but it looks like it might be part of some kind of old light bulb or vacuum tube with the glass being an insulator for the wires. When he cleans it up he should be able to see if there are wires going through the glass.
One of my neighbors growing up had run away from home to join the army during the Spanish American war ... he lied about his age and was put in to help with the mule trains that carried the supplies and equipment... it was there that he started learning about leatherwork by mending the tack... he became a saddler and made all sorts of custom leather goods... he even designed and made special saddles for disabled vets all over the country (and some international ones too...) a very neat gentleman!
Mr.Beau I just want to say i dont care what crazy stuff u say like hold your breath or whatever i learn something new in every one of your videos its great so if the people who unsub u because u like to have some fun in your videos then I say their lost i ty from the bottom of my heart for all of your knowledge u share with me so keep on being u God bless you sir and have a great day and please HOLD YOUR BREATH lol
There are spurs without rowels ... used like you said ... for training horses ... when the horse is just starting out you don’t need much ‘encouragement’ (they are usually jumpy already ... so you just need something to get their attention) 😁
The piece you thought could be a scabbard end could also be the end of a belt or strap but I think you’re definitely on the right track. I’m watching your video now and I’m about halfway through.
So very cool. I have a completed diary by a soldier in the Spanish American war, he was at Luzon, PI, 1902. It's a precious little book, by Harry J. Shay of Pottsville PA -where they happen to have a nice statue of a soldier from that era. Wow great finds I am jealous. I so want to go back tp PA and visit Harry's grave.
Good dig! Carry a toothbrush and a Dollar Store plant mister bottle to clean up the coins. Makes the finds immediately recognizable for the sake of the vid. Or not. Enjoy your day trips very much man!
I really enjoy these videos but I wish you'd bring along a bottle of soapy water and a soft toothbrush or something to clean up the more interesting finds. I would have enjoyed getting a better look at that four leaf clover. Looked like it had some interesting colored enamel on it maybe.
I really like watching you did..mainly because your reality started to watch some guys saying they were going to unearth the oldest bottle ever unearthed on film, well ,I could tell where they had "planted" it,earth different color and you could see where they tried to "make" it look like it was packed in the earth, needless to say turned them off...you da man
It goes on top of a pole to a chain link fence it holds the top Pole that's like a what-do-you-call-it A finial or something but yeah that's a cap to a chain link fence it caps the top of a pole and hold a top pole I think
That looks like an awesome permission! That washer thing almost looks like a thing that goes around shoe cleats. Gromet with glass? A type of insulator? Was that your first thimble? I really LOVE that lighter coloured hat you were wearing in this video!!! Quartz? Check it for gold! 🤩 Enjoyed! Hit thumbs up! ❤️
I'm guessing that the ruins of that small building with the fox, was likely an old tool/storage shed to work on farm equipment while out in the fields. Later filled with misc junk once it was no longer used.
I take it that you forgot your pin pointer again!!! LOL... I never forgot mine, for the simple reason I never had one to forget... LOL... Great video thanks for sharing. Be blessed... BBE..
Dang, we didn't get to see if the half circle metal piece you found fit together with the one your friend found! Was hoping you both found two halves of some ancient mystical amulet that will summon a demon or djinn or something when they're reunited.
Chigg, technically you can use a hollow point in warfare if the primary reason for the hollow is ballistic and not to do more damage to the enemy. case in point the new Black Hills 77gr OTM 5.56 Sierra MatchKing Ammunition now used by the US and the Russian 5.45x39 7n6.
A neat trick. Wipe your forehead with your finger, and then use that finger to wipe over the date, sometimes it's the only way to see a date. True trick.
Beau/Chigg We're passin' the hat so we can get you a haircut.......... I know it's winter, but.............. Love Yer Work !! When's the TV Show comin' ?
You should come to Missouri aquachigger I live by a river that had civil war history and Native American history from the beginning of the people of North America the paleo Indians and the mound builders and that river is the Mississippi River and that had civil war boats and ships and cannonballs by a national cemetery Jefferson barracks national cemetery And we also got the grave of William tecumseh Sherman that house might be Spanish American war
My Grandpa was in that war, he mustered out in 1901.Charles Reuben Wilson, 39th Infantry Div.

Thanks for sharing Mr Chiggles! I hope I get to see ya again this year in Texas. Happy Detecting and adventuring! ~ Gypsy

Snowball րհilօძεղძɾօղ that’s what I thought
Bit of trivia, I'm a nurse that has worked long term care since 1985. I took care of a 105 year old MANY years ago that was a Spanish American war veteran...he lied about his age to join the army...
Iva Ray - a friend from my childhood (a neighbor I admired) did the same ... your patient wasn’t named Mr. Brand was he?
Yep, my grandfather did same before WW2.
@ 16:28 It's hard to see the item as he's moving it around but it looks like it might be part of some kind of old light bulb or vacuum tube with the glass being an insulator for the wires. When he cleans it up he should be able to see if there are wires going through the glass.
That four leaf clover is going to bring you great luck in 2019. Looking forward to seeing the results.
That plastic thing with threads looked like an LED bulb
definitely an led bulb
Was going to say the same thing
I was thinking the same thing

I love when you land detect, Beau.❤️😊
You both are priceless. So much fun.
By far my go to channel.
Big fan of the Chigg!!
@ 8:20 Dustin's response was awesome. Then the follow-up with the fake coin specs... He's funny, lol!
Such a fun hunt. seemed like it has a lot of neat treasures. Wish you could have kept going.
Love your videos chigg thanks for all you do!!
Thanks that was fun.👍👍
Been singing " 99 red balloons" all day! Had to come back to comment lol. I think Chig was jamming out before this dig! How BAZAR! Lolol

Remember The Maine!!! No one in Maine remembers it...thank you for sharing, as always it was a great video.
Good dig! Carry a toothbrush and a Dollar Store plant mister bottle to clean up the coins. Makes the finds immediately recognizable for the sake of the vid. Or not. Enjoy your day trips very much man!
If you are in New Jersey in the spring or late summer I’d love to show you an 1880s town dump that I found.
Good video. You never know what is going to pop out of these Span Am camps for sure! We recently dug a soldier medal with his name on it.
I really enjoy these videos but I wish you'd bring along a bottle of soapy water and a soft toothbrush or something to clean up the more interesting finds. I would have enjoyed getting a better look at that four leaf clover. Looked like it had some interesting colored enamel on it maybe.
It's amazing what damage we have managed to do to this country in such a short time here, trash everywhere.

Was that your first thimble?
I really LOVE that lighter coloured hat you were wearing in this video!!!
Quartz? Check it for gold! 🤩

Super awesome adventure. Thank you for sharing. Happy Hunting.
That piece with the leather and the glass reminds me of an old license plate ,emphasis on the old.
I'm guessing that the ruins of that small building with the fox, was likely an old tool/storage shed to work on farm equipment while out in the fields. Later filled with misc junk once it was no longer used.
That white plastic thing you found around the 18 minute mark looked like it had LEDs on it.
I take it that you forgot your pin pointer again!!! LOL... I never forgot mine, for the simple reason I never had one to forget... LOL...
Great video thanks for sharing. Be blessed... BBE..
Great video Chigg.
Looking forward to meeting you in NH at NONES.
That corroded zinc penny was a metaphor of our decaying society and the end of days. Lol
22:32 Goes on a chain link fence top post cap
The two pieces y'all found that looked like leaves go with the flower piece you found to make a brooch pin. I think anyway.happy hunting
Well done Beau, great watch as usual . atb ;)
Great Video and Awesome finds!
Very cool Sir. Looking forward to the next one. Let us know if your ever in Southern Ok.
I can tell the Chigg doesn’t do much laundry 😂.
fun thanks
Always gets better before dark.👍
I wish the woods where I live were like they are up East. I’d be in them all the time.
The piece of metal found at the 23 minute mark strongly resemble a chain link fence post finial.
Middletown is near Anytown, USA. My friend John Doe lives there! 🙋🏻♂️
Awesome video. Really enjoyed it.
I’m hitting this area this week..pretty funny I live in this area.not this farm but right in this area
I enjoy your history lessons. Very cool. Rk.
Finished up strong
LED for sure.
The pease that the other guy found chigg said looks like it maybe a training sper, I believe it is the decorative pease for a chain link fence.🤔😂
That one thing was probably a light bulb, look like it had LEDs on top and it was threaded on the bottom.
Getting closer to my area in Northeast Ohio. Columbiana county right on the Sandy beaver canal.
Just a guess , but I think the thing you thought might be a spur is a chain link fence post cap. ( look up chain link fence cap with finial) .
The 4 leaf clover is a corp badge that is definitely SAM ,The half round metel peices might be heel plates
Great hunt!
The Hague Convention of 1899 set up the use of FMJ's
You always hunt in the best spots. Ya need to find the gold.
The mystery thing around 3:00 is the bottom of a lightbulb, there it screws into the socket.
Lucky four leaf awesome day man
Chigg is in my state! Happy hunting and safe travels👌

Interesting location, lots of “I don’t know what it is”. Liked the 4 leaf clover best.
Beau/Chigg We're passin' the hat so we can get you a haircut..........
I know it's winter, but.............. Love Yer Work !! When's the TV Show comin' ?
Liked video, but would liked a cleaned wrap up. Keep up good work!
Thanks for the vid!
Super cool video man! Lucky

That was a hillbilly rock tumbler washing machine with Rock's LoL
Top of a chain link fence post. Found 100s of them. The item at 22.26
Hey Bo good video you got some nice Vines there you and your friend
That plastic thing looked like an LED bulb when they first came out.
The spur thing is I think the top to a chain link fence I believe
Looks like the top of a fence pole
10:14 - This comment you said made it clear who does the laundry at the Chigg household.
You interrupted the fox doing his laundry
11:04 at 2 o'clock.... fox den.
This is off all kinds of topic, but I appreciate your good manners.
That peace at time 22:50s is a top peace of a chain link fince the top pipe runs threw
yup tinyurl.com/y7s7lxmc
Would love to see the button and the clover after clean-up.
The grommet/glass item at 3:00 looks like the base of a lightbulb or screw in fuse to me.
20:59 looks like the inner parts of a pocket watch
Not a washer ... ancient Celtic ring money!! 🤪😜
I'd like to have that farm sink laying in that shed.
The spir looks like a chain link fence line post finial.
18:18 is an LED Lightbulb.
Today Mr. Chiggs history lesson is about gun cartridges. 🤣🤣🤣
