- Hello everyone! About time I made this video lol.
Thank you all SO MUCH for your patience! This video took some time to make, so I hope you all enjoy it. Be mindful that this tutorial is intended for those who are already familiar with Mine-Imator, and assumes they understand how to navigate the interface. Lighting is a skill that is improved by practicing and receiving feedback. This video intends to assist you on your journey, but by no means is a "cheat code" (Spoiler: There isn't one.) Hope this helps!

A week after I quit mine imator the best animator ever drops this banger tutorial
It'll help a lots of people for sure. Basically you explained everything what is need to start/improve lightning in 2.0. Explained basics and extended them. Love the video
OMG this is literally a course, it brought together all types of animators here😂
Bro, thank you so much for this! I'm just now getting back into animation (I never was good at it in the first place) mainly because I create songs and thought a good fight animation would serve the music vid well. There will be a story to it! Your animations inspired me to start learning again! Not to mention, you make your animations looks better than those in blender 😂.
This is a really depth tutorial for purely Mine-imator lighting
Love how you explain the basic and composition types as well as demonstrate it
I've honestly never seen any other Mine Imator tutorial explain the settings this good
Dude looks like an angel for beginners and other users of Mine Imator. Big respect for such a good video
I would honestly consider it as very helpful for those who are not able to make much effort on his/her animations
this is a free college lecture
Damn this is so helpful. Thank you so much for the tutorial. I really need to improve my lighting in my animations.

You are soo underrated youtuber! I really hope you get 1 Million Subs Fast ❤❤
This is clean 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you very much BeinBian there is so much stuff here that I am SO excited to try, it’s also really awesome to see that some of the stuff I already do like the trick to set DOF is used by other people to lol. One question I have though, all of this applies to animation to right? I’d like to imagine it does but I just wanted to get your thoughts on it anyway in case there was like different tricks to use when the camera is moving around a lot
LFG LIGHTING TUTORIALS OUT HYYYYYPPPPPEEEE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Glad you enjoyed the video! :DD. To answer your question, yes, majority of these apply to animation. Animation is more complex because your composition (camera) is shifting often, but the general rules still apply. I may make a animation tutorial eventually too
@@beinbian ok very awesome, also a composition tutorial for animation would be SIIIICK especially for fight animations!

Mine imator and it's community has greatly evolved, things were very different in 2019
Yes. The very first version of Mine-Imator is terrifying!
Ohh God BeinBian thanks for a such a good Tutorial🔥🔥🔥
5:34-5:37 helped me alot thanks bro!
YES THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED
Thank you very much, I needed an updated lighting tutorial :D
this is a really helpful tutorial, and I appreciate you sharing it with others, thank you Bian.
Very good tutorial! Reminds me of Skibbz 2017 lighting tutorial. Really does show how Mine imater has adapted over the years. I personally didn't find the lighting techniques too useful since i've more or less cracked that code. But I really appreciated the explantation on compoisiting. Very useful for me, also I wonder if you'll ever do an animation tutorial? I do know of a technique where if you select multiple keyframes and rotate it, the overall rotation will change but the change of the rotation stays the same.
Do an AE tutorial too, adding lighting to Mine imater is only half the battle, the real lighting shows once you use After effects to add subtle but massive improvements.
Wow! This looks nice! Will you do more tutorials in the future?
FOR REAL , i was searching for your channel after i watched the warden video, and wondering how you do all that with smoothhhh, and vfx of course, AND BOOM, you posted, MORE VFX VIDEOS PLEASEEEEE
Finally, I was waiting for this .I'll put on the default water reflections for better anyways Your teaching is clearly understandable. You're the Best

finally fr i was waiting
bein thank you so much!!! thats so helpful!
def worth the wait thx ;)
Thanks for the tutorial!
This is awesome! Could we get an animation tutorial next?
Where I Get Vanilla PBR 17:59
You can find PBR packs on google, so search for them pretty much
Thanks for the tutorial! Very helpful given I’m still learning how to make good lighting. But I have one question. Should we add subsurface scattering to scenery? I’ve been told not to. Or do we use it on certain sceneries? (Certain biomes and stuff)
Its stylistic. If you think it looks good, then go ahead. Foliage is the main part of scenery that will use subsurface, so you can use "default subsurface" in the render settings for that.
Can you make à tutorial for the animations ?
It’s here thank you good sir
Also did you pray today?
@zaydengabbyanimations5940 👀
