How do these cost $90?

They're pretty nice mallets. But I am also weary of the price. I bought one pair and it's quite good, but are they really any better than say the Cloyd Duff mallets for $50? Different style mallets, sure, but same materials. (I bought the JP5s, not flannel or leather)

Jared I think is the Bamboo shafts, they are really expensive.
