"turret rotation system needs to be improved" no, not it doesnt. what it needs is for someone with an IQ to change the turret rings from "full rotations" to "display current azimuth" becuase thats how turrets work, and people need to stop pretending their game is ultra polished.
what do you mean by "display current azimuth"? That is not a setting in any of the parts, nor logic systems which were scratch made by the creator of the vehicles
@@amauryforceville4504 turret rings output node display full rotations. turret rings are supposed to display azumith. you need to know which way they are facing.
@@endeyfire While it is true that they display full rotations it has actually no relation to the issues the tanks had. Converting the rotation values to an azimuth value wouldn't help with the turrets control systems issues. Because you don't realize what those issues are in the first place. Its not their rotation, or the value they show, it is their sensitivity after zooming in. The equation used at the time of the video was flawed and made the turret incredibly slow to rotate after zooming in. Too slow in fact, making targeting with lag quite a difficulty. Also if you had actually paid attention you would have noticed that there are no turret rings. The tanks use velocity pivots due to their much better performance. Granted they work nearly identical but it is an obvious detail and shows you didnt look clear enough into it. Don´t try to fix something you don't even know the problem from.
@@amauryforceville4504 i agree with what your saying. and my assumptions are shallow, so im sorry for that. my point still stands as a seperate argument for a more applicable instance. however i cant help but feel if you could tell your turret, velocity pivot or turret ring, to look X direction without an equation, it probably would run faster. we shouldnt have to convert some rotors to azimuth, it should already be that way. again though sorry for assuming your issues, i am a tad agitated that some of the community just assumes how turret rings work and settle for this issue ridden game instead of helping the devs figure things out. or hassling them to do something.
@@endeyfire hey, I am the guy who actually made the vehicles used in the video and I also made the logic for them. The velocity pivots are the way they are bc the devs use rotations for nearly everything. I dont know why, and its not always the best thing, but its a consistent value throughout the game. One of the few. So I can see why they did it. And converting it to azimuth is rather easy tbh. Its a single function block. To your last sentence though, the devs dont care about the game anymore so there is no "helping" them either. They are just milking it and destroying the game and their reputation further and further. Its also not as if they want help since they actively ignore every issue we do bring up. The issue tracker and its shadow bans, and the Q&As they did are already kinda telling for that.
Imagine if stormworks add armor plating
i mean weight blocks exist

I love tanks
I wish I had enough friends for this. If your doing multi crew the T-64 by Kasi is good
i have enough friends for this but only2 of them have stormworks
@mrmirchi3647 can I be your friend I also have stormworks
I can play with u . I have also made few tanks for multi crew.
@@error8012 can I play with you?
@@deepfriedd1 yeah sure
i made a tank that has the barrel like a railway and it STILL barely hits at anything beyond 1km
Did you make a good targeting system with it ?
