@@Exstatulous I know. I tired to play the latest Like a Dragon and I just find the turn-based stuff so boring, but I loved the Judgement games and all the Kiryu Yakuza games. It must be an age thing because when I was younger, I loved FF7 and Suikoden and games like that.
To be honest I wasn’t sure how I felt at first, but the turn based combat grew on me. It reminds me of the combat in the South Park games. I like that it is still had real time inputs for attacks and blocks and the reactions enemies have to being hit make it more entertaining and satisfying than it would be if it was one of those game where the enemies just stand there static and just read text when damage is taken or given.
This looks actually quite terrible. Sad that this franchise has reached the point where they can do the most mid shit imaginable and people hype it up for being super whacky.
@@thatbloomer5642 I played all games besides 8. 10 years ago they would have made a game that is actually set in the 17th Century instead up putting all their dumb and whacky ideas into the modern time which doesn't fit at all so that they can reuse the maps they have already built and can make it as cheap as possible.
@@veldin1089 wacky? You mean the dmc style over the top combat? The series has been leaning over to this kind of combat since they managed to implement juggling in Judge Eyes. Besides, Ishin and Kenzan are pretty wacky in their own right, especially the new LaD: Ishin. And Majima is an over the top character to begin with. He summoned literal clones in 5 after becoming a literal beyblade in 4.
@@veldin1089I agree with you. There's also Dead Souls for example, but it's a non-canon game set in an alternative universe. It's strange? Yes, but it's a spin-off. This Pirate Game Is spin-off itself, but in reality it is a sequel of Infinite Wealth. I don't like the Pirate idea, seems pretty strange and stupid and don't fit the franchise at all, and I wanted a different Majima spin-off (For example a game set after Yakuza 0 that explore how Majima met Park and with a yakuza centered plot. Also I wanted ti see the dualism between Majima from Y0 and the Mad Dog of Shimano Side). Apart all of that, the rest of the game content is quite interesting.
Seeing the pirate ship arriving in modern-day Honolulu is hilarious
Look Ubisoft these are devs with balls they showed up at Tokyo game show
For Info, Ubisoft is actually a French Company. They don't have guts. They're like chicken just like their National Animal
The Senior Citizen Pirate Adventures is looking great.
I think majima would tell ichiban I better be playable in your next adventure
I need to really start playing all these games in order to catch up eventually
We still haven't seen the sailing gameplay.
do i hear Hidenari? If so, he sounds happy.
Cool gameplay
peak.👍 I can't wait it.
Like a dragon pirate?
like a pirate dragon
Majima never killed anybody!
In Cutscene never killed anybody😮😮😮😮
You forgot about the rubber weapons.
I hope theyll be a subbed trailer bc i really want to see what that dialouge said
Am i imagining things or are fights now loading even quicker?
Majima is 60 and jumps better than yagami
It's dat superior Yakuza genes !!!
Since when did the Americans start speaking japanese
Me playing Y8
since infinite wealth
it's funny how they tried to the language barrier thing at the plane but quickly gave up after that@@TheVampireFishQueen
Me watching jojo part 3
@@TheVampireFishQueen i wish i played Y8 but im too busy playing my 4 favorite games
I am so glad they got rid of that crappy turn-based system.
its still gonna be around, each game will have different combat

👀 the wrong take
This is a Majima-centric game. If you knew Majima or even the franchise at all, you'll understand how fitting this is.
