      Neuspeed are good wheels I just bought a set arriving tomorrow RSe122 8.5x18, the thing I don't understand is why offset of +45 they could go +35 and the fitment would be good enough without having to use spacers for about 90% of us. 15mm spacers are very borderline too much especially if you're lowered and 12mm would be better in "most" cases but 12mm spacers are kind of hard to find for many applications.

    Personally the way you’ve set the car up gives it a very mature looks. It’s not slammed it’s low but not over done plus it has a meaty stance and that’s the best part

      Thanks man! I like the term “mature” lol I appreciate that because that was the goal. Have the car look proper very simple and clean and I think mature ties all that in together

    Just watched your suspension video the last one. These wheels with the spacers fit so good bro. Keep it like that

      Thanks man! I love the look. This was filmed about a week ago so the suspension has def settled out more

    I was tentative about spacers but it looks great! I have the same set in bronze, love the ride comfort of the 18 sidewall vs stock 19s also

      Nice man! I was very up in the air about bronze and the gray haha. Sometime I wish I went bronze. I know spacers aren’t for everyone but it really cleaned up the look imo. And this was filmed about a week ago so the car settled even more now and looks much better and you’ll see that soon

      Yeah I hear ya. I took a chance on the bronze since I'm rockin the navarra blue paint. Blue/black is way too common for me.

    Diego Arias...I had a pair of 15mm H&R on my MK4 Jetta (5x100) I bought a Alltrack (5x112) put the spacers on it fine so I thought... took my car to a tuner shop that specializes in VW Audi Porsche to have tires balanced and they told me the spacers were for a Mk4 how so, (yes I had them on my MK4) but they're drilled out for 5x100 AND 5x112. they said the overall diameter isn't big enough so I purchased a proper size. If you notice your spacers don't cover the entire wheel mounting surface or wheel hub surface...I don't know if you track your car but it might make a difference. Apparently the overall outside dimension of the spacer is the difference . Just a heads up

    Hi, Enjoyed your video. I'm thinking of picking up an A3 8V and I'm trying to figure out wheel/tire fitment. You mentioned if you had to do it over again you might go with a 9 inch wheel. I'm looking at the same Neuspeed RSe11R, and wondering if I should go with the 9 inchin either +40 or +45 (vs the 8.5 inch), and 245/40/R18's. Maybe I can avoid using spacers to get a flush fitment? But do you think I'll have rubbing? I'm thinking of lowering my car using coilovers, but with about the same wheel gap you have. Your thoughts would be much appreciated!

    Turn the front down just a little bit more like just a touch and I think it will be perfect

      It has settled more since this video so it looks better you’ll see in the next one! Lmk in the next one what you think

    Looks really sharp man, Id say it sits just right. I have an 18' black S3 also and I actually am sticking with the stock 18" 5 star dynamic wheels from factory just getting lowering springs like you. For daily driver as far as ride quality 18s are the way to go, the 19s are too firm for me and tires are highly prone to blow out due to such low profile. How are things going with your stage 2 EQT tune? I am eventually going to go in that direction also. Are you running turbo down pipe, stock exhaust and resonator delete? I think that sounds perfect on these 2L S3 engines.

    • @DArias
      @DArias  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nice man! The stock 18s absolutely have a nicer ride than the 19s which are harsh haha..so I have about 11k miles tuned and 0 issues at all. Not one hiccup from either my 93 or e30 tune. As of now I have downpipe to res delete to stock muffler. It sounds good imo it’s not too loud driving around but def opens up when you punch it! The tune would be a huge game changer and completely change your view on these cars in a good way

    • @DArias
      @DArias  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! It’s in the description under my Amazon store in the Audi accessory list. Should be the first one on the list. Thanks for watching man!

    So you said that "I haven't messed with suspension, I haven't adjusted anything". Does this imply you're running coilovers and haven't adjusted them yet? The fit looks good so just wondering what you're running. I'm currently on 034 lowering springs and am also looking at buying some Neuspeeds.

    • @nycyabber7103
      @nycyabber7103 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BTW, as mentioned above, idk what your suspension setup is, but you can buy little rubber buffers that equal out the rake (make the front and back the same height.) I know Emmanuelle design makes a decent one which is included in their lowering springs. It's called "EMD MQB Rear Suspension "Reverse Rake" Adapter Pad" and it's only $30.

      @DArias  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Right now I’m running adjustable springs from ground control. They go on the stock strut just like lowering springs but have adjustable collars that can spin up and down like a coilover this allows me to retain magride while having adjustability etc

    Hey mr. I like your channel. I am new to Audi, coming from Mustang background, and trying to choose between '18 S3 or RS3. I know for some it might be easy choice but I am struggling a bit, there are quite few pros and cons for both lol. Thoughts?

    • @DArias
      @DArias  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So I’m gonna be fully honest lol If you are able to afford both cars then it’s an obvious choice. The rs3 is on another level. With some bolt ons and a tune the rs3 will beat some super cars it’s mind boggling and the sound of that 5 cylinder is absolutely amazing. Easy choice imo lol

      @@DArias I drove S5 this weekend, and fell in love in the interior, so much better than RS3, damn this is getting harder lol

    How long are your lug bolts?? I have rse10 wheels with 27mm lug bolts. Not sure if those are the right length. I’m not running spacers

    • @DArias
      @DArias  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With no spacers the stock lugs work perfectly with no issues. Good with about rse is they’re meant to be used with factory everything and fit perfect to size

    Should I go with 18s? I am daily driving a honda it already bumpy compared to other cars I driven...suspension already feels stiff and cheap

    • @DArias
      @DArias  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The good thing with 18s is you can fit some more tire on it to make the ride more comfortable. For example 18s on my car are so much more comfortable then the stock 19s it comes with
