No lie the mk7 has so much trunk space. I tried fitting the same furniture that fit in the mk7 into my a3 8p and night and day difference thanks to the overhang for the trunk lid ledge.
Do they come with the spacers or do you have to find those yourself and if so, how do I know which ones to get? I have a 2018 GTI and I'm looking to get the same wheels.
Awesome car, I hope you're still enjoying it! I own an LSG too and previously had the RSE10 in black. Are your radius nuts m14 or did you convert to m12? cant find a good looking set anywhere in OEM fitment.

I have the PP so the brakes are the same as yours but red calipers. I will be using H&R oem sport springs (about 1 inch drop after it settles). Help w/ my decision guys LOL

Those rse10’s look great. I’m running 245/40’s on a 17x40 rse16’s et45 - No rubbing. How’s that satin bronze working for you. I have a 17 LSG too. I really like the wider tire look on the rear of the R.
Thanks Thomas! I wanted to square off the wheels and tires so we could evenly rotate them and help them last longer. I do love the staggered look as well, but I'd save that for a rear drive sports car.

Sure. That would work too. Depends what you want. Do you want it flushed with the frame or tucked deep into the wheel well like stock. It depends on your offset choice.
If you want that clean classic look go with silver, but that beautiful blue car, it would look good with bronze as well. Kind of that rally look. I wouldn't do black though. It's my opinion but totally up to you. :) Good luck!

I’m just concerned it’s too typical lol I’ve seen thousands of sets of wheels and worth the setup I want. It’s extremely difficult to find the right wheel for this car
Well, my car came with 19", so I just increased the width and got lighter wheels basically. I'm sure the quality would be a tad softer if went with 18 inch, but I was about road feel as well. 18's would mush that feeling. That ride fine (to me), but we had incredible suspension from Bilsteins.
5mm doesn't require hub centric since the hub still sticks out enough for the rim to set on the hub. 10mm was too much poke for me. Plus it adds a little more stress and unsprung weight.
Sorry, we're getting rid of it, because it doesn't have the latest safety features that my honey needs for her daily safe driving. We'll miss that machine, but good luck to you!
I don't remember, but around 20lbs? They are very light. I remember half inch wider but like 6+ pounds lighter than stock wheels. You'll feel the handling and acceleration different for sure.

I didn't "have to". I wanted to in order to get the rear more flush to the fender just like the fronts are. It does give me a wider track in the rear. I also maintain a square setup instead of some different offset.

Hi Jack Crack! I did convert them to M12 and Muteki lug nuts have a super selection!

Nice 👍🏻 I’ve ordered the rse102 in the same size. What 5mm spacer did you use? Is it hubcentric? Or did you use a spigot ring and a floating spacer?

I am looking to pickup these up in gunmetal or bronze. Was the 5mm spacer needed in the rear or you just chose to use it?
I choose to use it to flush more the rear to the fender, but the most important was to maintain a square stance.
Jen, any thoughts on rim failures that are reported by Golf R owners? Light rims/low profile tires=warping, bending, etc. hard hits aside.
None from me and we have some huge potholes that I have hit multiple times. 30K+ miles on the car so far.

Are yours heavy my vmr710 I put on my gti feel like they made the car heavy
VMR wheels are probably heavier than Neuspeed RSE10 wheels and that's why I went with those. It probably improved some gas mileage as well.
