In the beginning of April I started to learn about the rubik cube out of boredom. It took me almost a month and now I can solve it quite well. Two days ago I made my best time. 1 MIN AND 37 seconds. LOVE U ALL🥰🥰
Cello, as in cellophane, as in plastic food wrap. You can also call them the direct English translation of the French. EDIT: and at about 13 minutes, the lightbulb clicked on. 😂 EDIT 2: PLOT TWIST AT 36 MINUTES! 😲
@@JanaeSmith it was thick and harder when it was created in the first twenty-thirty years of the twentieth century; the creators tried to trademark the word "cellophane" but were unsuccessful as no otherword could describe it. So now, there's the thicker version referenced as cellophane while thinner is cling wrap (or Saran the brand name generically) in English. French still uses "cellophane" in some areas.
7 minutes early!!!! Watching this in my "This is my happy face" hoodie. I've been a grain for a year now and you guys are my idols. Stay safe and nerdesisters forever
I just started trying to work with resin. It's fun and challenging. I almost ordered this $30 cube on Amazon until I read the reviews and watched this video. STICKERS!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Thanks to Jackie and Sika for saving me $30 and a lot of frustration.
I actually really love the look of Jackie’s. I think the more uneven edges inside the cube give it a more artistic look, and I think the colours show up more separately and stand out against each other better than in the CMY cube
The K in CMYK comes from the Key plate used in the printing process. Also called key color. For instance if you print in duplex, so only using two colors, the darker one of the two will be the key color. When mixing Cyan, Magenta and Yellow you'll also get black, but that black isn't dark enough so the black from the key plate darkens that. and the key color is also responsible for adding detail to the image. :)
CMY tells you what colors you should be using. Cyan Magenta Yellow. Like color printer cartridges. As someone who studied 2 years of color theory hearing "find out which color we should use" made me HAVE to say something before watching more since you already knew xD
Lol @ Sika being so dramatic “I’m never doing this again” 🤣😂 I feel ya girl! Also, totally disappointed that they used stickers! $30 for that?! I love your resin and cellophane one!
Making a CMY Cube. Jackie: "Should we use pink or red?" Me, an optician and artist: "How is red even an option" Edit: Btw, why didn't you just make a clear cube and then stick on the pieces of cellophane after it cured with just a thin layer of resin? Much easier to position them right.
@@phophophylite hahaha un vidéo en Québécois complet serait tellement drole avec aucune censure car les sacre font partie du vocabulaire Québécois voyons 🤣
Be carefull sika don't eat the resin and mistake as food! Its exciting to see you both working with resin and it being sika's first time! Behind the camera : Tones of dried up resin where sika took to long!
Jackie, just thought you might like to know that actually cyan, magenta and yellow are the SECONDARY colours of light (primary colours are red, green and blue) and it's the subtraction of the wavelengths that give you the other three colours seen in the cube. Source: A little bit of Google about how the cube works, and some physics knowledge from yesteryear! Apologies if anyone has already mentioned this - I've only just seen the video.
I wonder what would happen if you did a REALLY thin layer of coloured resin on each side (you would have to let it cure one at a time, though) and then fill the cube with clear resin and after it cures, do the top thin layer with colour. That way nothing would peel and you could control bubbles better, I guess...
I actually made one of these by using nothing uV resin…. It’s a small one. 1 inch squares… I laid the cube mold down and spread the uv resin on the inside, cured it, turned it, spread the next color, cured it, turned it and continued until all sides were covered In The colored resin… once I had all of them Done except for the top layer, I filled the cube with the clear uv resin, cured it and then put the last colored layer on the top and cured it… the hubby now uses it as a key chain… he loved it so much, he stole it from me, screwed an eye screw into it and attached it to a key ring… I was really amazed at how well it turned out…

The b r a i n p o w e r required to put all the colors in the right place and stuff. I could never. The cubes look so cool too :D
I think if resin looked like food Sika should most likely try to eat it
Some of the resin crafts....I find myself craving lollipops...so yes to Sika wanting to eat them...
Maybe she secretly plotting to taste resin behind her sisters back 👀
no one:
me: viben with izawa
They can try to make jello or agar agar with the similar effect
Yeah
Lately your channel has more dolphin sounds than Sea World's.
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
In the beginning of April I started to learn about the rubik cube out of boredom. It took me almost a month and now I can solve it quite well. Two days ago I made my best time. 1 MIN AND 37 seconds. I KNOW IT IS STILL BAD, but I am just proud of myself. 😀😀
So for everyone : TRY NEW THINGS BECAUSE IT CAN TURN OUT TO BE SOMETHING THAT YOU REALLY ENJOY EVEN IF AT FIRST OR AFTER A BIT OF TIME YOU DON'T FELL IT KEEP GOING AND TRYING.
LOVE U ALL🥰🥰
I’m not feeling great and binge watching your videos has been comforting
Cello, as in cellophane, as in plastic food wrap. You can also call them the direct English translation of the French.
EDIT: and at about 13 minutes, the lightbulb clicked on. 😂
EDIT 2: PLOT TWIST AT 36 MINUTES! 😲
She realised the cello thing right when I read this ..... Coincidence😅😅
I was looking for this comment. Cellophane is what we use to play with at school 😁
but cellophane is very stiff, compared to plastic food wrap/cling film (Saran wrap) which is like soft and stretchy and hard to cut...

Please don't forget to add auto-generated captions. They are super helpful. As always, I enjoy watching the two of you together 💜
7 minutes early!!!! Watching this in my "This is my happy face" hoodie. I've been a grain for a year now and you guys are my idols. Stay safe and nerdesisters forever
Try doing the the divider from corner to corner so each side is a different colour, that might work, worth a try x
Seeing SiKa in the thumbnail is like having a fun time+laughing time, seeing ur full video...
It's crazy how similar sika and i are like; Our personalities, the way she treats her sister i treat mine, and health problems.
Stay Safe Everyone! ❤🌹
How to catch a wild Sika: bring a cmy cube
All my days as a light technician has prepared me for this😤
I just started trying to work with resin. It's fun and challenging.
I almost ordered this $30 cube on Amazon until I read the reviews and watched this video. STICKERS!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Thanks to Jackie and Sika for saving me $30 and a lot of frustration.
Me see that Nerde posted clicks as fast the Flash.
"Why ..Am I... here? "
"Why is EVERYONE here? "
That was deep....
Sika making her own resin project makes me feel like a proud family member
Love your videos with your sister bc you guys are funny together. My son and I love your videos bc they are cool
I actually really love the look of Jackie’s. I think the more uneven edges inside the cube give it a more artistic look, and I think the colours show up more separately and stand out against each other better than in the CMY cube
Yeah!! I'm glad you're here (both of you!!)
If Sika didn’t know that M stood for magenta, wait till she hears K stands for black in CMYK!
Wait what does K stand for? Like is there a word for black that starts with a K
@@annapruitt5546 it stands for Key, and it does mean black
The K in CMYK comes from the Key plate used in the printing process. Also called key color. For instance if you print in duplex, so only using two colors, the darker one of the two will be the key color. When mixing Cyan, Magenta and Yellow you'll also get black, but that black isn't dark enough so the black from the key plate darkens that. and the key color is also responsible for adding detail to the image. :)
@@annapruitt5546 I'd seen someone in a comment section say kohl as in kohl eyeliner but idk.
Everyone: CMY stands for cyan magenta and yellow
Sika: CMY? Cats meowing Yum 🤣
I love you so so much sika's smile is so sweet
Life would be so boring without Jackie & Sika, The Dangerous Dynamic Duo.
#NerdEficationSquad #ImAGrain
Yep
You girls rocked this project...BRAVO!!!! You went above and beyond your way instead of using "stickers" So happy for you both!!!
CMY tells you what colors you should be using. Cyan Magenta Yellow. Like color printer cartridges. As someone who studied 2 years of color theory hearing "find out which color we should use" made me HAVE to say something before watching more since you already knew xD
Love you two so much you make me happy ❤️
"Some of you may be asking-"
"Why am I here? :("
And I just lost it. You both are amazing! LOL
Sika's hoodie is so adorable!!
Lol @ Sika being so dramatic “I’m never doing this again” 🤣😂 I feel ya girl!
Also, totally disappointed that they used stickers! $30 for that?! I love your resin and cellophane one!
are they dating
@@twily313 NO THEY ARE SIBLINGS

Jackie: "I'm a scared."
Me: "Oh, cool. Sika doing pterodactyl noises excited her do craft more with her sister."
Hi, cellist here! The foil is read with a c-sound but the instrument is read with a ch-sound :)
It should be a cl sound cle-lo -fain wrap .
oh whoaaa! I did not expect your cube to look that similar to the actual one! amazing!
Just remember that the Count is not Dracula 💗 I love watching you guys Craft together!
Jackie and Nilered two 40 minutes videos worth watching this week!
This video came at the perfect time
Finally! NerdE-CRAFTER makes a crafting video for once.
Making a CMY Cube.
Jackie: "Should we use pink or red?"
Me, an optician and artist: "How is red even an option"
Edit: Btw, why didn't you just make a clear cube and then stick on the pieces of cellophane after it cured with just a thin layer of resin? Much easier to position them right.
IKR? that is what I was thinking all along.
Was thinking the same, I thought it would be easier to demold
She put resin over the cellophane and idk if it would work if you did it your way. 🤷🏼♀️
It would peel off, but if she domed it it could work
This was so fun! The origional is beautiful but not worth 30 bucks! I love the banter between you sisters! 💖💖💖
I laughed out loud when Sika completely deflated Jackie's evil laugh - by taking away one of her sharp pointy things. Lol!! 🤣
Sika:
Looks :⛓️🖤😜
Personally:💝🦄👠
I love Jackie and Sika. The contrast between the two reminds me of my sister and I
I didnt even mean to click on the notification i did not even see it i was just checking something.
Now Im brainwashed ... I keep finding myself saying "okkay" . "Likaasssooo" 😂😂
I love the part where Jackie says "ta yeule" lmao Quebecers awaken 👊🏻

Now that Sika is here chaos is going to be occurring lol
Resin looks so cool and that cube is pretty cool
I feel like sika would eat the cube and think it was a gummy if she was left alone with it
Awesome job, ladies! Imagine making dice like this!!!! How fun!
This was a really awesome project! The colors look awesome too!
I'll go tell Evan and Katelyn to do this >>.
I liked the deep colors from the adjacent colors so much!
1 inch squares… I laid the cube mold down and spread the uv resin on the inside, cured it, turned it, spread the next color, cured it, turned it and continued until all sides were covered In The colored resin… once I had all of them Done except for the top layer, I filled the cube with the clear uv resin, cured it and then put the last colored layer on the top and cured it… the hubby now uses it as a key chain… he loved it so much, he stole it from me, screwed an eye screw into it and attached it to a key ring… I was really amazed at how well it turned out…
Great craft! Yours look just like the one you bought. It was so cool! I want one, now!
After all that careful popsicle stick manuvering I'd trust Jackie to give me surgery. XD
So cool!
It’s “cell-lo” for the clear material. & “chel-lo” for the instrument 🎻
Duuuuuuuuuude I haven't seen you in years! I had no clue you still uploaded! And you have a sister! This is so cool! I just started my TH-cam channel a while ago so I guess I can call you a colleague!
I love the energy and innocence in which you and your sister approach reviews and crafts. Thank you for being an excellent escape from a difficult year.
