Interesting. The Kite description says taht you need to keep driving the walker to keep it higher. Perhaps its a "3 man" thing? One drives, the other reels/unreels, and the thrid flies up?
you can also extend it like the harpoon, and its a 2 person job, one stands on top, the other extends it, it's so tall you can get above the dunes when in the canyons on the medium maps (when unraveled fully and keeping walker stationary)
so whats the goal in this game other than PvP? Like Ark has dungeons, artifacts and endgame bosses, conan exiles has dungeons and umm more difficult dungeons, and both can be "completed". Also you can build nice bases, breed nice dinos etc. What's there to do in Last Oasis? I really love the concept and the looks of it, but does this sandbox have sand?

We did fit a tool pod on stiletto to try it but it's not what I'd call very practical.
Cannot use the crane for anything put to pick up and put down small walkers
