I've long loved the concept of landships, and it's really nice to see this game take the theme away from the classic steampunk or dieselpunk styles into low-tech, wind and torsion based designs! Some of these hulls are absolutely MAGNIFICENT!
There is really 2 versions of the Spider, the base one with 3 packing spaces for solo players, or the Spider with ballista that is great for 2 man teams, and with the leg armor upgrade you are basically invulnerable from the sides. The ballista upgrade lets a team mate stay attached while you scale almost 90° walls. Great for oasis runs and flying low radar in areas of heavy clan activity. Its honestly S tier for group less than 5
CollegeWiFi you are nowhere near “basically invulnerable” with armored spider legs. You can easily break the legs with a repeater and darts very quickly and even the hull.
I didnt realize how big the titan walker is holy crap! I'm sad to say but servers are now down for 7 days!!! I will happily wait for this game to return however! I love it! Good video btw! 👍

Railien it isn’t their servers which were the issue, it was the master server (the thing that connects your account to their servers) and it ended up being faulty. Supposedly they have to go in and completely rework their inner server structure
i can imagine the tusker walker as being a heavy freighter, if the game ever gets a simulated economy like in eve online then i can see this getting used a lot for logistics with groups of smaller walkers escorting it, that would be interesting
How to use the walkers when trying to invade a tile: (Numbers of walkers are subjective) A couple of falcos outside the maps to chase down anybody that try to escape the map. It is used to chase down walkers because its the fastest walker in the sand terrain. Schmeterling and Titan to fight out other walkers used on a (major campaign) and big resistance Hornet and stiletto to fight out other walkers in a tile with less resistance Tusker is for major resistance tiles to pick loot up same as Buffalo but for less resistance map.

Here is some guidance on what the War walkers specialize in: Falco is a siege type. It is ideal to use with siege weapons such as Slingshots, with plenty of deck spaces that also give you cover when operating the slings. It is more ideal use as a supportive artillery type, and especially useful to help out in ground battles, as it has easy to access cargo hold, and unobstructed decks to allow you to shoot people on the ground. Hornet is an Offensive Chaser type, with a lot of deck space places in the front, allows you to have plenty of guns in the front to deliver hard hits when running after or into enemy walkers. Ideal for boarding parties as well. Bulldog is a Defensive Tank type of walker, withe its larger HP pool and wide decks to fit plenty of guns along the broadside, this one has the most firepower potential, but is also far slower. Stiletto is a Multipurpose walker that you can any kind of weapons onto it but lacks firepower. It is also a fast one that allows for flanking. Dhingy is a Scout type walker, due to it being the fastest Walker out there. It is also small in profile and allows you to sneak into places unseen. You can fit it with a fair amount of guns, allowing it to be pretty effective at flanking and chasing wounded walkers. Titan is just a walker equivalent of a battleship, can carry the most amount of firepower, the most amount of armor can be fitted with a wide array of different weapons. Schmetterling is as forementioned a Giant base walker but can be effectively used in combat as a "Carrier" type. Fitted out with the right modules, this walker carries the most amount of Spawns, and due to it being much taller than any other walker, it allows for easy boarding into any other walker. And also makes it difficult to get boarded by others. It also has a lot of protective covers to fit Water storage to allow for more spawns. Tusker is just a giant cargo walker, and shouldn't really be used for combat other than as a supportive supply walker.
If they're actually going to follow through and keep adding walkers (as such also bigger walkers) they might actually have to rename it to that. Wouldn't really be a titan if it was only the second or third best.
I am surprised there's not one named after the creator of those wind powered "robots" in real life, Theo Jansen, or his official name for them, Strandbeest.
Would be cool to see an updated video to account for balance changes. Like the Stiletto now being one of the fastest walkers, and toboggan being one of the slowest. Stiletto, at tier 1 mobility with medium wings, is now roughly twice as fast as an upgraded Dinghy.
They should add an Hamster-wheel as a means of traction to a huge one of these. Quest, fill the hamter- wheel with those bush whackers to drive the wheel.
As an American who can speak only English and ASL, even I cringed at his pronunciation of schmetterling and toboggan. I dont believe he is a native English speaker from the way he pronounced them.

There's a lot of wrong info in this. Dont need to hold shift to move in the spider walkers, dont mention about their ability to climb up and down nearly 90 degree angled walls. Dingy is not faster than a Stilleto, except going up hill or using a burst of torque when the Stilleto isn't using their torque.
Pretty sure a dinghy is faster then a stilleto if it's using its torque, period. Stilletos don't get much speed out of their torque, it helps them accelerate or go up hills

But even with large, segmented wings (whatever they are called, haven't unlocked them yet) we couldn't be caught in our dinghy when we were torqueing. Thankfully it was the same stilleto we were trading with, the new wings certainly spooked us.
Varagonax ye trust me my clan has a stilleto and 2 dinghys and when we are going the same places the stilleto always out ran the dinghy with the upgraded wings even though the stilleto had base wings. Now we’ve upgraded our wings on the stilleto to the medium fast wings, the best ones and we outrun the dinghy in no time

hey, if you have trouble mounting onto certain walkers, you can build a walker mount helper on it, if you then grapple while aimed to the mounter, you are automatically brought on the walker. very convenient. the research is in structures, and costs around 10-15 I think.
It also seems like what makes a walker big is how tall it is, i would like to see like taller walkers too but to make them seem more big maybe add more floors to the actual top part and more width
I think the variety of smaller single player walkers is lacking, there should be some kind of super fast more protected walker or some kind of fast walker with a bit more of cargo space.
Am i the only one to think the proxy walkers look like they got a thumbs up and a middle finger up at the world? Also the walkers look awesome. Loving the Schmetterling and Buffalo walkers

@@mrblandin6179 the hard clusters weren't even up for the shard turn in so must be some kind of third party server running and hacks you can tell because he doesn't know about mount claws which are some of the first things you build to mount the later walkers, also doesn't know about many other things and unlocks except walkers.
Like to see the STATS of each of them, Body, Leg wing armor ... Water & Storage Amount/slots, can use Torque ? , Weight allowed, and aprox speed compared to others if possible.... Oh also how man Mod slots... maybe upgrades it has to open.

The Toboggan (Tow - bog - an) can carry 1000 in each stack, compared to 100 on other walkers - in it's cargo - so very good for gathering/market runs. Can you list the health of some of the higher walkers? Can't quite read it but looks like it says: Buffalo: 21k Hornet: Falco: 24.5 K Schmetterling: 40k Tusker: 35K Titan: 40K Titan: 41k ?
What about the upgrades? i am a solo player and i really don't see myself using any of the bigger ones, i want to know if the firefly or the spider walker are any faster than the others cuz they are mainly for solo players.
It would be awesome if they do tiles/servers 3 circle rings where the farthest circle are the easiest tiles we start then we move to the 2nd circle medium difficulty then the 3rd inner circle is the hard difficulty where bosses are found
You'll probably want a water pack and something to defend your friends with, everyone will need to fight or they will execute your friends before you can heal them.

How are you playing in singleplayer? did you buy a server from nitrado?
He is playing the beta test. He was lucky enough to get into the beta. Servers @nitrado will not be released till atleast 4/7/2020 now.

No it's not if you have small wings on dinghy and the turbo boost you out run and has better turning circle even only at tier 2 upgrade

I should have rephrase what i said on that video, dinghy is faster than Stilleto at full torque.
