We went 60 feet below the surface, where the temperature stays around 10 to 12 degrees celcius. One narrow path leads to several open chambers in this series of caves and fossils that dates back to the Ordovician Period.
Bonnechere Caves are also real-life bat-cave. No Joke - It's home to several bats in the winter months! How cool is that?!?!
This was definitely the highlight of our time in the Ottawa Valley and Ontario's Highlands!

Thanks buddy. You'll love it there. Remember, this is only a small sample of what there is available to see there. We like to keep our videos short, but you can spend ALL DAY at the caves.
