It's summer here in Oz and 40° on some days. A colourful world apart! Nice to remember we are under that same gorgeous blue sky though. Thanks for sharing. Was lovely to watch enjoying beers and snags on a barbie is universal too! I checked out Patreon. Had to chuckle at Benevolent Deity level. But I didn't even know about Smedtorpet! Now on my Bucket List of places ... post Covid.
@@wiiboiwill Well, I have the opposite real life experience. Running water does not freeze. Once we had a pipe failure and ran an ordinary garden hose from our neighbour, it did not freeze through the artic winter, a dripping faucet was enough.
@@daw7563 I think it probably also depends on the piping system you have! I live in Sweden too and because of the way our pipes are designed, and the fact that we are the last in line out of over 100 apartments/houses to get the water (it goes to all other houses before coming to us), keeping it dripping won't help :/
Where I live in Gujarat... it is 25 degree celsius right now ... This is first time I learned that it gets so cold in sweden that the pipeline water freezes ... ! It is beautiful and picturesque but very cold ... I presume you might have adapted well !
Hens are doing just fine-o-fine, though they do NOT much love going out in the snow. Caught one sunbathing under the heat lamp yesterday, but the others prefer to stay further away from it.
Ask your father about yard drains before all this starts melting because you will probable have a flood. Try to think about stuff coming your way and check on youtube because people post this kind of stuff on it. Good luck:th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=frozen+water+pipes+solutions

Also, now I just watched the vid. This is so cool!!! I don’t think we can fit a water bottle in ours but maybe we can get creative and think of something else 🤔

Keep a faucet dripping and you'll avoid freezing 👍
Not if it gets cold enough for a long period of time. But it sure won't hurt either!
Doesn't matter if it gets too cold...

Love my pops, but there are better people to ask than him. Thanks for the link though. TH-cam is a great resource for how-tos.
