I love seeing and hearing these older machines and the work they can still do. I'm an equipment operator by trade so I love seeing how well they hold up and withstand the test of time.
This one is kind of a mutt. Mostly in decent shape. Hydraulics are not quick like you say. But sure has more guts then my old D4 7U. Someone combined parts from other machines. Has 5 roller track frames, wider then standard track (6AG maybe) 22" wide track. Turbocharged later engine AC 7000 engine. Dry back end dozer, not an EP or one of the real late ones.
What year Alis Chambers HD 6 is it. ? I started out on a 57 Alis Chambers HD6 Dozer...LOL...I was 16 yrs old. And still doing it today....They are a Good Dozer.I wished My Dad would still have the old Girl...LOL
Was an early one. About 58 or so they switched to the direct injection Allis Chalmers 6000 engine which was in most of them. Mine has the 7000 engine which is turbocharged and came in the Ag model.
Bom vídeo, eu tenho um também, o meu é um hd6b ano 1969, o motor estragou e eu adaptei um motor Mercedes 1113, e ficou excelente, motor relativamente leve, baixo consumo e mais força, ficou top.

I just got it going again. Had bad steering clutches. Part has been repainted. Need to clean up and repaint the rest but it runs great.
I have a HD 5 and a 6. I love your collection.
Heck yeah that is amazing!
Final drives/trans sound low on oil...
Have the same Hd6b for 35 years.
Runs great.
Everything is full in it. Has made that sound since I got it.
Mine whines a little too...the audio must amplify the noise.
Great video!
Worked on/operated a few, owned one of them for a few years. Hydraulics were painfully slow. "HD" stands for "High Dollar." Just ask any parts dealer.

Cat gives their parts away?
Dresser? Komatsu?

1965. It may be kind of a mutt. It has a HD-6AG engine or HD-7 engine plus 5 roller track rails and some other AG stuff.
The HD6 I had came with a four cylinder Buda diesel and snap over dry clutch.

Vc é de qual cidade?
Fantastic video...????
What the horse power on that dozer
I believe the turbocharged 7000 engine makes 99 horsepower or thereabouts.
