How is this possible? Man on his own accord can not please God. It is necessary for each person to be filled by the Holy Spirit given by Yeshua. He is our high priest, and it is only through Him can we enter into the Kingdom of God.
Please explain in detail how islam is intellectually satisfying, spiritually fulfilling and practically applicable?

@@jeffwilschut7161 Jesus in the Bible was a Muslim because he preached and worshiped only ONE God exactly the same way Muslims preach and worship ONE God (pure monotheism). Here's proof from both the Holy Quran and the Bible….
      1) Holy Quran 5:72
72 "They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers."
      Holy Quran 19:36
36 [Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path."
Now let’s take a look what Jesus has said in the Bible and commanded his followers to do so...
      Mark 12:29
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord OUR God, the Lord is ONE."
      John 17:3
3 "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have SENT."
      Luke 18:19
19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone.”
      John 14:24
24 “Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who SENT me.”
      John 5:30
30 “By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who SENT me.”
      Matthew 15:24
24 He answered, “I was SENT only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
      Matthew 26:39
39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his FACE to the GROUND and prayed."
Noticed how Jesus (peace be upon him) always gives credit to God Almighty and he worships his Creator just like Muslims do by placing his head on the ground.
      2) Jesus also called his lord as Allah just like Muslims do today. Here's the Aramaic proof...
Jesus spoke Aramaic NOT Hebrew which most people think. The word for God in Aramaic is Alah or Allah which is a slight accent/dialect within the Semitic language. Even the Christian scholars who were behind the film Passion of Christ do acknowledge and confirm that Jesus has always called his Lord as Allah...
      th-cam.com/video/gRr48TIpzro/w-d-xo.html
      3) Jesus also greeted people exactly like the Muslims do by, saying Assalaamu Alaykum in Aramaic. Here's the Biblical proof...
      John 20:21
21 "Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!”
      Luke 24:36
36 "While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
      4) And finally, Jesus himself and those who met and knew him had called him, a Great Prophet exactly the way Muslims refer to him. Here's more Biblical proof...
      Matthew 21:10-11
10 "When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?' 11 "The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the PROPHET from Nazareth in Galilee.”
      (Jesus)
      Luke 13:33
33 "Nevertheless I must walk today, and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a PROPHET perish out of Jerusalem.”
      Luke 24:19
19 “What things?” he asked. “About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a PROPHET, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people.
      Matthew 13:57
57 “And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. Then Jesus told them, “A PROPHET is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family.”
      Matthew 5:17
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the PROPHETS; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”
      Acts 2:22
22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a MAN accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.”
Even those who witness his miracles at first hand called him a Great Prophet!
      Luke 7:15-16
15 "The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother." 16 "They were all filled with awe and praised God. “A great PROPHET has appeared among us,” they said.”
      John 9:17
17 “Then they turned again to the blind man, “What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.” The man replied, “He is a PROPHET.”
      John 4:19
19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a PROPHET.“
So who should we believe? Those who knew, met, and witness his miracles or those who NEVER met him nor ate/drank with him telling us he’s “god” or “son of god”?
Seriously, those people need to study the Bible carefully and thoroughly about what Jesus himself said because their eternal salvation depends on it.
Jesus prayed to and worshiped Allah only yet they refused and want to pray and worship Allah’s creation (Jesus) instead of the Creator who is Allah. If they continue to reject the true teachings of Prophet Jesus, then Jesus himself has already warned them on what he will do/say to those who claimed to worship him on the Day of Judgment when he and everyone else are in front of Allah Almighty.
      Matthew 7:22-23
22 “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”
Subhan’Allah! Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. Even the word Hallelujah is the same as Alhamdullilah since both words are praising Allah in his actual name yet they don’t even realize it. May Allah guide them and continue to guide us.
Jazakallah Khair and Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You).

@@jeffwilschut7161 Islam is the TRUTH because the message of it has always existed since the creation of the universe. Islam is the ONLY faith which is NOT named after a Person, a Place, or People. It’s a VERB, a way of life. All the previous Prophets in the Torah and Bible were Muslims…
      - The word for God in Hebrew is Eloah. This was the language of Prophet Musa (Moses)
      - The word for God in Aramaic is Alah. This is the language of Prophet Isa (Jesus)
      - The word for God in Arabic is Allah. This was the language of Prophet Muhammad.
Peace and Blessings be Upon Them All. They all worshipped and prayed to the same Creator in the same way also…
      Moses and Aaron
      Numbers 20:6
6 "...they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them."
      Jesus
      Matthews 26:39
39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed"
      Muhammad
      Holy Quran 31:22
22 “And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.”
      Holy Quran 22:77
77 “O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed.”
      Holy Quran 2:43
43 “And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].”
I will greet you the same way as Moses and Jesus in the Bible greeted people by saying Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You) in Islam…
Moses in Hebrew - Sholem Aleichem (Peace Be With You).
      Jesus In Aramaic…
      John 20:21
21 "Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!”
      Luke 24:36
36 "While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
Muhammad in Arabic - Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You).
It has always been One God, One Message, and One Humanity.
May Allah GUIDE those who are sincere and honest before it’s too late for them.

Raymond E. Brown, recognized as one of the world's leading New Testament scholars, professor emeritus of biblical studies in New York, recipient of more than 30 awards from Catholic and Protestant universities worldwide, president of several societies for biblical studies in the United States and Europe, called by two popes to serve on the Pontifical Biblical Commission, states in his book "What do we know about the New Testament?", page 43, the following:
"None of the gospels mentions an author by name, and it is quite possible that none was written by the person whose name it bears, according to a tradition dating from the end of the 2nd century (which implies that the 4 gospels had no title for almost 2 centuries).
He also tells us on page 57: "Almost two thousand years ago, the evangelists wrote four gospels in Greek, we don't have the original manuscripts from the pen of the evangelists, nor indeed any original of any book of the New Testament, what we have are many handwritten copies in Greek made over some one thousand four hundred years, between 150 and the invention of printing, often, but usually on points of detail, these copies differ from one another due to mistakes or changes by copyists",
On page 58, he goes on to say: "The Gospel sources must be of particular concern to us, because in all likelihood the evangelists were not eyewitnesses to the life of Jesus".
On page 91: "The Catholic Church has decided on canonicity on the basis of long and regular practice in the liturgy, not on the conclusions of scholars about who wrote or copied this or that".
These "original texts" don't exist. What do exist are the transcriptions that appeared between the 4th and 10th centuries. And these are transcriptions of transcriptions.

14:26 This is a common practice in Indonesia where we shake and bow to our teachers out of respect, and it has become a culture. We respect them for the knowledge they give, of course it depends on the intentions of the teacher, whether they allow it out of pride or just to respect each other. Nonetheless, it's a normal part of our customs.
It will be very difficult to erase it, because our culture is very diverse, our parents teach it even when we are still toddlers, regardless of ethnicity and religion, you can see it anywhere when you visit Indonesia.

No. I am part of the same culture and this is way too overboard.
Usually we will kiss the hands of our elders once and that's it, unless if he is a close relative then we would kiss both cheeks if we are very close to them and forehead for our parents and grand parents as a sign of affection moreso then respect.
However, this culture was alot worse in the past as they would do it enough non-mahram of the opposite gender but the culture is slowly improving as more Muslims in South East Asia are getting less and less liberised.

American Christian priest, biblical scholar, theologian and exegete Raymond E. Brown [1928-1998 G] said:
"Approximately three thousand manuscripts of the Greek New Testament, copied between the 2nd and 17th centuries, have been preserved (in whole or in part), to which must be added more than two thousand handwritten lectionaries containing sections (pericopes) of the New Testament arranged for liturgical reading since the 7th century. These witnesses to the NT text do not agree with each other on many points, but few of these differences are significant. No autograph or original manuscript of a New Testament book has been preserved; the differences occurred during the copying of the original. *Not all are the result of copyists' errors; some are the result of deliberate changes.* Copyists sometimes felt obliged to *improve* the Greek of the received text, to *modernize* spelling, *add* explanatory phrases, *harmonize* the Gospels, and even *omit* a point they considered doubtful. One might think that the oldest preserved copies (in whole or in part) of the Greek NT are the best guide back to the originals; but this is not necessarily so."

Bart D. Ehrman in his book "The Construction of Jesus: The Sources of Christian Religion" tells us on page 154 entitled: "Does the New Testament contain forgeries?"
"Of the 27 Books that make up the New Testament, only eight were almost certainly written by those whose signatures they bear: the seven undisputed epistles of Paul (to the Romans, Corinthians 1 and 2, Galatians, Philippians, Thessalonians 1 and Philemon) and The Apocalypse of John (although it's not clear who this John was)".
And on page 187: "This idea that the New Testament contains books written 'under false names' is common among scholars, and it is accepted in all the great institutions of high learning in the West, it dominates all the great textbooks on the New Testament, in seminaries and theological institutes, and it is what pastors learn when they prepare for their ministry".

@@samluciano2309 Testimony from history and ancient manuscripts in favor of the non-crucifixion of Jesus (peace and blessings upon him)
      Introduction
It has become customary among Christians to assert that the "crucifixion of Jesus is a truth proven by historical facts", however, these "historical facts" presented are the accounts found in the New Testament.
Let's be clear: the biblical accounts of the crucifixion have no historical value, for several reasons:
On the one hand, they are the accounts of people testifying to their faith, and not of people who stand back objectively and report history.
None of these authors was an eyewitness to the crucifixion.
The choice of books to appear in the Bible was made under the orders of the pagan-Christian Roman Church, and was dictated by its beliefs, not by the examination of chains of transmission and the authenticity of the accounts, as the Muslims did for the sayings (hadiths) of the prophet Mohammed sws (indeed, there is no authentic chain of transmission from Jesus to the 4th century, when the first complete manuscript of the Bible was written).
In his book "The Nazarene-or, The Christianity of the Jews, Gentiles and Mohammedans." John Toland states the following (page 32, chapter 6):
"One cannot help crying out against the ignorance of those who imagine that this story of the death of Jesus is originally the invention of the Mahommedans. The Bazilidians at the beginning of Christianity denied that Jesus Christ had suffered death himself: they said that Simon of Cyrene had been crucified in his place; the Carpocratians who followed them, not to mention others of those who believed that Jesus Christ had been no more than an ordinary man, similarly believed that he had not been crucified, but rather one of his disciples who resembled him."
      He continues:
"In ecclesiastical history, Epiphanius tells us that he read a book entitled "The Journey of the Apostles" containing the acts of Peter, John, Andrew, Thomas and Paul, that among several things we read the following: "THAT Christ was never crucified, but another in his place, that by this means he had mocked those who imagined they had crucified him": some have argued that it was Judas who was crucified in his place. This circumstance, that Jesus Christ had mocked the Jews, is also affirmed by the Bazilidians, as can be seen in the passage I have just quoted from Epiphanius."
To this day, the latest archaeological discoveries, notably the manuscripts found at Nagaa Hammadi, have made it possible to prove that a large number of early Christians hardly believed in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and held the same belief as stated in the Koran: "THAT IT WAS A FAKE SEMBLANT". These manuscripts are remarkably representative of the very first Christian literature, and have not been altered in any way since they were written.

You should get to read the atanic verses... Surely, you know everything - Mohd copied what he wished from the books existing at the time ( He ensured they be placed on a Cushion)..
Even this had to be copied - Go on Read till end...
      THE GIVER OF LIFE
      Allah calls Himself
Al-Muhyee-The Giver of Life- on two occasions in the Quran.
      1. Al-Muhyee is the One who created life and decides what will be brought to life.
      2. He is the only One who can bring something to life, including the spiritual life to the heart.
Now READ : - what Jesus said 500-600 years BEFORE Al Muhyee and numerous times...
John 5:21, ESV: For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.
      John 5:25 -29
25 -Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
26-For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.
27- And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
28-“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice.
29- and come out-those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
      ALSO READ THE BELOW:-
John 14:5-Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
John 14:6-Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 14:7- If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
John 14:8-Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9-Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10- Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
John 14:11-Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12-Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13-And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14- You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it
      Summary :-
      1. The Son gives life to whom He will.
      2. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27- And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
      3. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
      4. Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his and come out-those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
      5. I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7- If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
      6. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works.
      Revelation 1:17-18
17 -When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.
18- I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

What is the ruling on kissing another person's hand?
    Praise be to Allah.
It is mustahabb to kiss the hands of righteous people and the greatest scholars, and it is makrooh to kiss the hand of anyone else. The hand of the beardless man should not be kissed under any circumstances,
    (From Fatawa al-Imaam al-Nawawi, p. 71)
In the commentary on the book, it says:
If a person wants to kiss another person's hand, if this is because of his asceticism, righteousness, knowledge, position or modesty, or other reason that has to do with his commitment to religion, then it is not makrooh. In such cases it is mustahabb, because Abu Ubaydah kissed the hand of Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both).
But if it is because of the persons riches, wealth, high rank or status in the eyes of the people of this world, and so on, then it is intensely makrooh.
Al-Mutawalli, one of our companions, said: It is not permitted, and he indicated that it is haraam.
It was narrated in Sunan Abi Dawood that Zaari (may Allaah be pleased with him), who was among the delegation of Abd Qays, said: We started to get out from our howdahs and we kissed the hands and feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Jesus in the Bible was a Muslim because he preached and worshiped only ONE God exactly the same way Muslims preach and worship ONE God (pure monotheism).

Since you say you only want to believe Jesus's words and the words of those who knew m, saw and followed him...
      Matthew 2:10-11
[10]When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.
[11]On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Jesus was worshipped when he was still a suckling. Before he could even speak he was already worshipped because they knew already who he was.
      Matthew 14:32-33
[32]And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
[33]Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
Jesus's own disciples worshipped him and called him Son of God.
      Matthew 28:16-19
[16]Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
[17]When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
[18]Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
[19]Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
The disciples worshipped Jesus again, and bear in mind Jesus never rebuked them by saying what they are doing is shirk or blasphemy, but he let them.

Jesus predicts his death for the 1st time.
      Mark 8:31
[31]He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.
Jesus predicts his death for a 2nd time.
      Mark 9:31
[31]because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise.”
Jesus predicts his death for a 3rd time.
      Mark 10:32
[32]They were on their way up to Jerusalem, with Jesus leading the way, and the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid. Again he took the Twelve aside and told them what was going to happen to him.
[33]“We are going up to Jerusalem,” he said, “and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles,
[34]who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise.”
So since you only believe what Jesus said, you have to believe he died and rose on the 3rd day because we both believe Jesus is no a lie... but wait✋️
Jesus is contradicting the Quran because it says they never killed nor crucified him, so who are going to believe... Jesus or the Quran?🤔

I find it inspiring that, no matter the accusation, the Qur'an answers it. It's almost like Allah knew what the accusations would be, before they were made. Answering Christians is relatively easy then as we only need to refer to Qur'an and Sunnah, rather than give our own opinions.

@@Im.not.abdool I think you have every right and reason to be scared. The Qur'an is a revelation of admonishment. Allah describes the positive and negative outcomes for our actions, for our belief and disbelief. You say you laughed. I already said the Qur'an answers all accusations.
“The hypocrites are apprehensive lest a surah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, ‘Mock [as you wish]; indeed, Allah will expose that which you fear.’
And if you ask them, they will surely say, ‘We were only conversing and playing.’ Say, ‘Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?’” [At-Tawbah 9:64-65].
Allah continues with further explanation and warning of the punishment to come.
People like you will seek out those verses in Qur'an which align with your opinion of Islam. Yet the Qur'an continually exhorts us to good actions and words. How will you repudiate a verse like the following?
And your Lord has decreed that you worship not except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff,"1 and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.

    Could someone answer this?
Quran 3:144 "Muḥammad is no more than a messenger; other messengers have gone before him. If he were to die or to be killed, would you regress into disbelief?"
Quran 5:75 "The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger before whom many Messengers have passed away"
The exact same Arabic is used for both. From my understanding the word "al-Rasool" is mistranslated in both verses. It should mean "all Messengers" instead of "other/many Messengers". It makes no sense contextually either as 3:144 was used as evidence of the death of Muhammad (saw) by Abu Bakr (ra) when the Prophet passed away so the verse must refer to all Messengers before Muhammad (saw). And 5:75 should also mean all Messengers as there is no Prophet before Jesus (as) who is believed to be alive.

However the word "al-Rasool" is mistranslated in both as if you do not take it to mean ALL Prophets then by the admission of verse 5:75 there are Prophets before Jesus who are still alive. Both verses must refer to the death of all Prophets before the Prophet that is named for them to be accurate in both translation and meaning.

This "discrepancy", as you call it, is not a discrepancy at all but all the proof one needs to understand that the belief of Jesus being magically alive in the heavens is ridiculous and totally wrong.
Again, as per the mistranslation of most Sunni scholars verse 5:75 states not all Prophets before Jesus have died. So I would just like the names of those who are still alive.
Furthermore, scholars have been wrong for the last 1400 years. If they were right the Muslims would not have been divided into 73 sects. That division alone is evidence of the fact that Muslims believe nonsense that has nothing to do with Islam.
