Wasn't Allah before the advent of Islam just an idol made of stone by the Polytheists? The god called Allah was also once worshiped by Muhammad's own father, Abdullah, am I right? So, how can your god called Allah, possible to deliver the prophets including Jesus to the people when it turned out that Allah was only an idol in that era? There is also a Hadith spoken by Muhammad himself which shows that his father, Abdullah is now in Hell. Narrated from Anas, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, where is my father?" He said: "In Hell." When he turned away the prophet called him back and said: "My father and your father are in hell." Doesn't this indicate that whoever dies while worshiping Allah will go to hell?
It is a huge contradiction to the monotheistic religions when Allah that used to be an Idol that was made of stone and worshiped by the polytheists and then believed by the Muslims today to be the one true god. And if you read the stories of the prophets found in the Quran and compare them with what is in the scriptures of other religions such as Judaism and Christianity, they are hugely different. The simplest and most obvious explanation is that Muhammad was not a prophet. For example, in the Quran verses (19:27) and (66:12) mistakenly confuse Mary the mother of Jesus with Mary the sister of Aaron and Moses. This also explains why the Quran that Muhammad narrated erroneously states that Christians worshiped the Virgin Mary as a god (5:75, 5:116) when they never did. Isn't it more likely that Muhammad was just making it up as he went along and then accused the Christians and Jews as a cover story for his own mistakes? It isn't hard to see why Muhammad and his earliest followers had to kill a lot of people from other religions to get their point across.

Muslims believe that the quran is unchanged and there are no variants.
This is not true.
Did you know that the official version of the quran was only finalised in 1924 in Cairo, Egypt? And only officially canonized in 1985 in Saudi Arabia?
Scholars know that there are several versions of the quran, but the average muslim does not. Why?
The 2 most widely used versions in existence today are the Hafs and Warsh versions. (Others are Qalun, Al-Duri, Khalaf, Al Qisai, etc)
Is yours a Hafs or Warsh version?
Look at the first verse of sura al-fatihah. If there is a number “1” after the Bismillah verse, then you have the Hafs version.
If not, you have the Warsh version.
The few knowledgeable muslims who are aware of the existence of these 2 different versions will say there are very minor differences, mainly vocal variations.
Again this is not true.
Here are a couple of examples of text variants that can be found in the Arabic Hafs and Warsh that show that the quranic text and meaning itself has been altered!
2:125 in Hafs is وَاتَّخِذوْا “WatakhIzu” (You shall take) / In Warsh it is وَاتَّخَذوْا “WatakhAzu” (They have taken/made).
In 2:125 One version gives a command, while the other states a historical observation.
Another one:
3:146 in Hafs is قاتل “Qatal” (Fought) / In Warsh it is ُقتل “Qutil” (Were Killed).
In 3:146 the difference is between a prophet and those with him being killed, while in the other the difference only means that they fought by his side.
There’s more: Look up 2:85, 15:8, 21:4, 33:68, 42:30, 48:17 in both these versions and see for yourself.
In fact, if you study futher, you will find that number of verses in Hafs is 6236, while Warsh has only 6214 verses.
Were you aware of this? Probably not. Why not?

The number of hadith collected and attributed to prophet Muhammed is in the hundreds of thousands, as much as 700,000. Let us now look at some of the famous hadith collectors and what they collected.
(1) Malik Ibn Anas collected about 500 hadith in his famous book, Al-Muwattaa.
(2) Ahmed Ibn Hanbal, collected about 40,000 hadith, in his famous Musnad. He chose these 40,000 hadith from among 700,000 hadith. In other words he thought 660,000 hadith were un-proven, lies and/or fabrications and the others may be authentic. That is, 94% were lies and fabrications.
(3) Bukhari collected about 600,000 hadith. He accepted 7275 hadith and considered 592,725 hadith to be un-proven hadith, lies and/or fabrications. In other words, 99% of what he collected were considered unauthentic.
(4) Muslem collected 300,000 hadith. He accepted 4000 of them and rejected 296,000, that is, almost 99% were rejected.
This gives us an idea of how much corruption entered or tried to enter Islam from the back door.

Problem is the Quran you read today was standatdized in 1924 in Cairo. It is known as the Cairo Edition and not the same Quran as Uthman put together.

@@daryl94 The main issue with Islamophobes like you who's only purpose is to spread confusion, hatred and enmity between people (judging from your username changing the word Peace) is that you look at many Hadiths including this one from a disconnected perspective without taking any other Hadith or even the Quran into consideration, the study of Fiqh and Islamic sciences are meant to be conducted from a interconnected/holistic perspective, you can't just make up a law like ISIS does by cherry picking from a Hadith or a Surah without the context of its time, claiming to be a theologian genius and expect us to listen to you or take you seriously, but I have extra time on my hand so I'll answer you
First of all, the Hadith clearly states that "Whoever CHANGES his religion, kill him", well what about non-Muslims who change their religion? Should they also be killed?! Here you come to a logical stop since it doesn't make sense, why?, because you took the Hadith out of context, taking it in context with the Qur'an (which holds a higher authority than any Hadith including this one which some people say it is weak, and by the way "Darulsalam" is library of collections, and has no authority in grading Hadiths), but let's say that the Hadith is 100% Sahih for the sake of the conversation, the Qur'an clearly states in Surat Al-Baqara 256: {There is no compulsion in religion}, so IN AUTHORITY OF LAW the Qur'an comes above anything else, AND IF someone was to be killed for leaving Islam there are a set of CONDITIONS that need to be met first BEFORE the judgment can pass, you'd know these conditions if you were a truthful person but I don't think you are so we'll leave it at that, you can look the conditions up yourself
So now, if there is no compulsion in religion then what is this Hadith talking about?? This brings me to my second point, a Muslim CAN leave Islam and no authority is given in the Qur'an to anyone to kill them, because their judgment will rest only with Allah (SwT) himself in the Day of Judgment, BUT, if a Muslim leaves Islam AND PROPAGATE hatred and misinformation (ie: changes the religion) or propagate secrets of the country to the counterparts in open war against Islam then under the specific conditions met he or she is considered an enemy/traitor of Islam, and just like ANY country in the world (including the U.S, India, Russia, China, and MANY other countries) deals with its traitors based on how they define a traitor is, they enforce the capital punishment on them, so let's not pick and choose

Its not a matter of belief, Bible is corrupted and this is nothing new - christian scholars claim this.
Muslims believe that there might be some remnants of truth in christan scriptures. In order to determine what ist true and what is not true we use the Furqan.
Furqan means "The Criterion" and its one of the name of the Quran.
