I’ve done this a few times so I’m sharing some tips I’ve learned over the years!

I just got to Lima last night, I was swamped with private taxi drivers, who are definitely out to scam you, I originally asked if he would charge me 50 soles to get to Barranco, and when we get to his car he said 45 USD, I was like heck no, I refused and said Uber was my best choice. All the private taxi drivers said if you get Uber you have to walk outside the airport. That’s a big fat lie. I got an Uber and he was 10 for away. Stay away from those private taxi drivers, huge scammers. Uber picks you up at the airport.
Oh and I was charged 14 USD with Uber instead of paying 45 USD to barranco

How do you get internet access as soon as you arrive in lima? What do you recommend?
@@mightykat1 there’s WiFi in the airport. I also recommend checking into whatever foreign plan your wireless provider has. I have att and it’s the best deal compared to buying SIM cards etc
