Thanks for the interesting review. I am worried about that statement on the Neewer website though: « NOTE: When using batteries, the power output will be limited 44W. Please install batteries properly. » Did you notice that difference when operating on batteries?
COB lights aren’t that powerful, using two layers of diffusion and a grid is absolutely going to lead to very low light output. Notice how much light he was able to get when removing the grid, a grid cuts down a good stop of light by itself.
In paper yes, but in real life experience seems to be different, especially when you use the battery.(knowing that being able to use the light on battery power is what makes the light different from others)
it would have been nice to know the camera settings when testing the light.
f2.8. 1/50
Perfect timing on this video. Thanks man
2 layer diffusion looked pretty good, cinematically
Do you remember what were your camera settings at th-cam.com/video/TarST03gNXY/w-d-xo.html ? iso/shutter/aperture
100/50/2.8
I just bought it and it has a small umbrella and still figuring out how to open it.
it's a bit tricky at first but you'll get used to it 👍

oh, I haven't used it with batteries! that sucks if it's 44w!
@@FeelinTechToday Right, agreed. 😕
Yeah, but would make sense. There is no way you would squeeze out more watt from the batteries@@SdeGat
@@TrinhStudios maybe they could just offer « bigger » batteries to provide full power. 💁♂️
Is the screw for the stand a 1/4 or 3/8?
good question. it's 1/4
Output power doesn't seem very good with softbox on it.
I don't have any issues with it. it's twice as much as I my old lights and I'm good with that.

Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Neewer ms150 b vs godox ml60 bi?
I haven't tested the ml60 but ms150 is more powerful on paper.
In paper yes, but in real life experience seems to be different, especially when you use the battery.(knowing that being able to use the light on battery power is what makes the light different from others)
@@FeelinTechToday we can expect a comparison video between the two lights?
yes, I heard that the output power of the neewer on battery is not good. but I haven't tested it.
unforchunetly no, since I'm a small youtuber and don't have much budget. unless godox send me one for free! :)
4:25 You really don't know? 😆 LED lamp (free?).
It was just weird to put it in this package! it was free I guess 😅
